I have visited about 10 countries in Africa. Kenya has the best wildlife, is one of the most beautiful scenically, has a great bush vibe about it and has the best birding I have seen. It is harder to do on your own (easier than Tanzania but much harder than South Africa).

The country is in its infancy and hence not that overdevelopd to scar the natural habitat. The pricing structure of the wild card enables a local South African to still enjoy the game park.

This is a unique water world that cannot be experienced anywhere else. Visitors going to Okavango should not primarily want to see many animals. The secret of Okavango is its water, the hidden channels, the islands, the remoteness. And you must experience this from a makoro, not from a motor boat.

Absolutely fantastic! Slightly qualified on the wildlife and birds - what we saw was excellent, and so much more gripping in a way because you're on foot. But they are slightly more wary of people on foot than in a vehicle (slightly counter-intuitive!) so we didn't get as close, and we didn't see any big predators (which is a very good thing!!!).

The goverment of Botswana seem to have aimed to have low volume tourism (at a slightly higher cost) which means you see more wildlife that seems less stressed with fewer tourists. Surely the perfect approach!

Well organised, great guides from Sunway and hooked us up with fantastic local guides, in the Delta and elsewhere (Oliver our game guide in Moremi, Savuti and Chobe was truly excellent!).
