Great Safari trip
We did a 10-day tour in Kenya. It was an amazing experience with an outstanding team of John, our tour guide and Sadrack, our driver. John has deep knowledge of wildlife that made every game driver thrilling.
I found Apodiformes Adventures from Safari Bookings website; Silas reached out promptly after I submitted my safari request and he always answered all my questions promptly. Initially, I had some reservations about the tour because it required a 40% deposit up front and the balance paid in cash on the first day. When John picked us up, his professionalism helped me to feel more at ease and began to trust the tour company.
In the midway of our trip, there were some miscommunications on our lunch and game drive, John and Silas stepped in and resolved the issue right away.
We were thrilled to spot all of the 'Big Five'—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—as well as 'Ugly Five'—hyena, vulture, wildebeest, marabou stork, and warthog.
Witnessed the Great Migration is truly the pinnacle of a safari experience.

Exceptional service
They are very attentive to your needs, I dealt with Vera who took time to understand my needs and was able to curate the right package that would meet my family's expectations since we needed a beach and Safari trip in regards to customer service and value for money, She kept in touch all the way through our trip and even after to make sure we were fully satisfied. Would definitely use Peaks and Safaris for my future travel

Amazingly helpful and efficient: thank you Melanie!
We had the most incredible 2 week trip to Botswana: staying in three stunning Desert and Delta lodges. Honestly, every aspect of the trip massively exceeded our expectations…it was the perfect adventure! The wildlife and scenery are extraordinary, and we could not have been looked after better by the kind, generous staff at every lodge.
Loved the trip to Vic Falls and cruise on the Zambezi at the start too, which made a lovely relaxing start to the holiday.
Massive thank you to Melanie from Pembury: the itinerary was perfect, and we can’t wait to visit again!!

Informed birder who knew much about Namibia
Our tour of Namibia, July 9-23, 2025; Kubwa Five Safari
We made a whirlwind tour of Namibia beginning in Windhoek. Our 2nd night was in the Kalahari desert where we went on an evening game drive and a sundowner with wonderful views over the acacia savannah. We then drove to Le Mirage in the Namibian desert for 2 nights including an incredible hot-air balloon ride over the desert. From there we drove to the coast for a boating tour of Walvis Bay and about 400,000 southern fur seals, and 100,000 Cape Cormorants. The afternoon was spent on a hair-raising tour of the dunes south of Walvis Bay in SUVs driven by skilled dune drivers. The next day we drove to Fwyfelfontain in the interior famed for extensive San petroglyphs and rock etchings, and on an evening game drive we found a herd of desert elephants that we followed to a waterhole. We visited a Damara community museum where we learned about customs of the Damara people and were treated to a community dance. From there we drove to Opuwo where we visited a Himba village where an interpreter helped us to communicate with Himba women. Our next night was at Epupa Falls on the Kunene River, Angola border. Our guide took us to the edge of the falls which was quite spectacular, and again a sundowner overlooking the falls. Then we returned via Opuwo to Hobatere Lodge on the western boundary of Ethosha National Park where we observed several lions at a waterhole adjacent to camp. We spent one night inside the park at Halali and observed black rhinos visiting a waterhole at night. Three days in Etosha were stunning with many waterhole visits with vast herds of wildlife including elephants, zebras, giraffes, kudu, lion, black and blue wildebeest, ostrich, and of course, thousands of springbok. Our last night was outside the Park in a wonderful Mushara bushcamp, our favourite accommodations of the entire trip. From there we spent a day at the Cheetah Conservation Fund property where we met with students and researchers at their excellent research facility. Our final night was at the spectacular Mt Etjo Safari Lodge where we tracked white rhinos on foot and encountered vast herds of wildlife including lions. Our tracking guide was brilliant.
Our guide, John, was a superb birder and naturalist. He made the trip truly rewarding.

Amazing first safari experience with KLA
I recently experienced a safari with KLA Adventures, and it was fantastic. Right from the start, my friend who contacted the agency picked KLA because their sales rep was the quickest to respond and patiently adjusted the itinerary per our request to made sure it fit our preferences perfectly.
But the standout was definitely our guide, Robert who is every polite, honest and sincere. He wasn't just knowledgeable; his passion for Tanzanian wildlife really shone through. Robert had a knack for spotting animals and shared fascinating insights without overwhelming us. He answered all our questions and ensured we had the best spots for viewing, all while respecting the animals and their environment.
If you're planning a safari in Tanzania, I can’t recommend KLA Adventures enough. Make sure to ask for Robert—he truly made our trip unforgettable!

Reliable company to use for tours and safaris in South Africa
We found the company through the internet as there was a contact number in Australia. Cearl was our first contact from the company. She was very prompt, informative and friendly. She created the package according to our needs. Then Trevor provided us with details of our tour and vouchers, 3 weeks prior to departure. We are extremely happy with our experience with the company.

excellent experience, great tour guide
Libe is a great tour guide, we are lucky to have him. he speaks well and introduced the habit of all the wild animals we saw. He is experienced in seeking wild animals, drive safely and smoothly. he gave the clear tour briefing every day and be very transparent. He handles all the logistics for us.

Super nice and knowledgeable.
We had an awesome 5 day 4 night safari with our tour guide Libe. Libe is well-dressed and very knowledgeable of the animals and parks. He also speaks English well. Also, car is very clean, comfortable and newly renovated.
There was some unbelievable animal sightings of herds of wildebeest crossings, elephants, buffalos, whole pride of lions, cheetahs and their cubs, flamingos and leopards. Some of the animals came very close to our car.
We would highly recommend Serengeti Smile and tour and tour guide Libe!

Amazing, very responsive
We had a very short time frame to visit Africa, due to some work commitments. Cuan gave excellent advice that allowed us to see as much as we could in that short time. It was an amazing, dizzying fast and eclectic race through: Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana and South Africa. During the 12 days we had safaris by: boat, helicopter and car. All were impressive. The guides were fantastic- how do they see things??? The food and accommodation was wonderful. We did the camp out on the salt plains. I didnt enjoy the quad bikes- but they are not for everyone! Seeing the stars out there was well worth the trip. We were so spoilt in our river lodge and had a ball at the Okavango- our favourite place. We will be returning and we will be asking for Cuan’s assistance. We finished with a half day tour of Soweto- which i didnt expect to enjoy. I was surprised and of course there is a lot of confronting material there. However, the thing that made every place we went was the people. They were so lovely. So helpful- even places where i would expect a bit of angst- immigration- all smiley, helpful again. What a wonderful trip!
