This was definitely a life-changing experience. From the first email interaction until the last goodbye everything went so smoothly. It was almost dreamlike. Being a solo traveller, and travelling for the first time ever, this experience could not have gotten any better.
I was met at the airport by a young man named Calvin, who drove me to Arusha to my hotel. I met Mr. T at the hotel, who gave me the rundown of what the events were about to occur.
The next morning, I met the incredible Rocky, who was to be my tour guide for the next five days. From his funny introduction to his great smile, I knew we were going to get along fine.
I got in the Jeep and met my fellow travellers who quickly went from strangers to family, despite all of our differences.
It was obvious right from the start how much Rocky loves his job, with his wealth of information, driving capabilities and patience, as he tolerated my many many questions. He found the hardest animals to find giving us the best view for pictures. He found ways to communicate with others in ourJeep that didn’t speak English and always made everyone feel comfortable. He greeted us every morning with a smile and ended each day with a smile, never showing any signs of annoyance, fatigue, or frustrations. Truly an expert in his field of work.
The accommodations were beautiful and the food, especially our lunches made by Pius, were delicious.
I can’t thank Suricata Safaris enough for the experience. 10/10 recommendation!

As a child/teenager I always dreamed of a safari and what can I say, my great expectations were exceeded.
One thing was the breathtaking nature (whether Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti or Ngorongoro Crater), which was so varied and I have never felt so connected to our origins.
The other thing was how well Suricata Safaris organised everything. ‘Rocky’ is simply the best guide you can wish for. He told us so much about the wildlife, took us to the most beautiful places (it was great everywhere, but the viewpoint over the Ngorongoro Crater and the sunset in the middle of the Serengeti were probably the highlights) and did everything to give us an unforgettable adventure.
Although I am picky when it comes to food, there was something delicious for me every day.
I can only recommend Suricata Safaris to anyone.

Elephant Herd provided excellent service and offered honest options. They went above and beyond with my transfers from Johannesburg, and also booked rides through sanparks for me. The guided Safaris were excellent to. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend them

Kruger Safari
Can't recommend this enough, it was exactly what we wanted. We did the 4 day trip. Joining instructions were good and it was easy to contact the tour company when we needed clarifications. The first morning safari we found the lions easily. Saw most of the animals we wanted to see and the guides were great. We stayed in some excellent accommodation, The Zarafa was excellent, done out in Indonesian and the food was some of the best I've ever had PLUS we were the only 2 people staying there for the 2 nights we were there so nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Big thumb ups to our tour guide / driver, Mr Lawrence that been our acoompany for the whole trip. Lawrence is very professional, he explain the details of animal that we met along the journey. Not to forget, he put all his best effort to park the car at the best location /angle to let us see / capture photos of the animal we met.
In conclude, marurumi safaris really professional and i definitely recommend other to engage them. Try to get Mr Lawrence as he is really the best i could ask for. Thanks for making my honeymoon such a pleasant experience. 😁

There are many options for travel planners but we picked Compass because they listened and helped us design a vacation specific to us. The places we stayed were so comfortable and so special. From the heart of Cape Town to the wine lands to Shinde in the delta. We were so well looked after....our guides on the ground personalized the experience... never rushed. This was not a cookie cutter experience. The value was outstanding. Our time with Compass extended over 11 days and 4 countries. The guides were knowledgeable, helpful... they made the trip so easy for us and also special.
