Amazing budget-friendly adventure
My sister and I went on a 6-day joining safari with Meru Slopes & Tours back in October, and it was an amazing adventure. We chose the “6 day wildebeest migration” package and yes, we got to see two river crossings! All in all we experienced many beautiful and awe-inspiring sightings across Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire. By the end, we all wished we had been able to spend more time in the safari. In addition, the group we were assigned with was great and it’s one of the reasons both of us enjoyed the safari so much.
Meru Slopes provides great attention the moment you contact them. I first contacted them through their email form, and got into contact with Jerome, who was very helpful in booking the safari and even offered us a small discount. The payment process was very easy, and if you happen to be in Tanzania a few weeks before the safari (say, for Zanzibar or Kilimanjaro) you can even deposit the advance fee in person at a local NMB branch, saving you some transfer fees. Jerome also helped us coordinate an additional stay at the hotel and the airport transfer, which was very useful. The moment you arrive in Arusha you are in Meru Slopes’ care, which I really appreciated.
Stanley, our driver and guide, accompanied us all days. He is a very skilled driver and has a great eye for positioning and anticipating where animals where approach. He helped us achieve some really great sightings of lions and cheetahs which where one of the many highlights of our safari. He is also very knowledgeable and friendly, and was always on time to depart very early in the morning to make the most of our days. Our cook, Johannes, always provided very bountiful and delicious meals, and he was always in a great mood. I personally noticed some similarities with my home country’s cooking so I enjoyed the food a lot.
The accommodations where quite good considering the budget. The tents in the camp sites are more comfortable than I expected, and at Serengeti you get to spend the night surrounded by nature and hearing animals nearby, under a beautiful starry sky, which is simply unforgettable. Though the weather was not very kind to us that week, with some rainy days, Meru Slopes still did their best to accommodate for it. We also did not manage to spot leopards or rhinos, but after everything else we saw, I really can’t complain.
In summary, an amazing adventure, highly recommended, and at a great price.

Our tour guide was the best!
“We had an incredible experience at Mikumi Safari Park, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Stephano Bonice. His knowledge of the park was exceptional, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. We were able to enjoy so many unforgettable moments, and we couldn’t have done it without him.
Stephano was incredibly patient and accommodating when we needed to adjust our plans later in the day, always with a positive attitude. His dedication and expertise truly made our visit special.
Thank you, Stephano, for making our adventure unforgettable. Highly recommended!”

An unforgettable safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro
We had an amazing 10-day Safari in Kenya & Tanzania, the Tanzanian part of our adventure was handled by Julius as our driver and Enticing Journeys.
It was extremely well organised, we had our personal chef who did wonders with the menu. The camps they chose were in beautiful locations and they set up the tents and took care of everything we might need.
Our driver Julius was extremely punctual and drove us safely in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. He did his best to find as many animals as possible and cater for our needs.
I highly recommend Tanzania, Julius and Enticing Journeys!

Professional, responsive and very helpful
We have been planning a safari and reached out to Pallid Safaris for information. Carolyn W was our consultant. Carolyn was very professional, courteous and prompt with her replies. She listened to our requests and adapted our itinerary quickly and without hesitation. The price was comparable to other safaris of this nature (4 night, mid range - Kenya). Sadly due to work schedules the safari is on hold at the moment but would definitely recommend Pallid Safari and Carolyn W : )

Fell in love with Tanzania
Tanzania has the most diverse and beautiful nature. The nature sometimes seems out of this world for an european. I cannot recommend enough going to Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, they are a must see. There wasn't so many tourists because of the low season in April. I would skip the extra Masaai tibe visit on a Safari tour. It was only an hour long, you don't really get to know the culture and they pressure you to buy things from the village. *Another con was the Ramadan. Without an arranged tour it was sometimes hard to find food, especially if you were in a more remote/non-touristic location. Also if you want to party there's nothing special during Ramadan. April wasn't too bad with the rain even tho it is the starting month of the rainy season. Over all people of Tanzania are funny, easy-going and kind, the nature and music are amazing and food is good.

Amazing wildlife, food and a fantastic experience
We stayed at Rissington Inn and it was great. The time to the gates for Kruger national Park werent long and it was a really relaxing place to stay and still in nature. The Kruger game drives were great, we got to see the big 5 with a couple of close encounters (in a good way).
