Entertaining

Petrus was our tour guide. We saw 3 out of the 5 of the Big Five. The weather was pretty yucky, but we still had a good time!

Well organised and easy to communicate
5/5

We had a well organised Tour, always on Time and our Guide was very polite and always helpful. We were travelling with our 4 year old daughter and it was not a problem. The price was reasonable and the communication before, during and after was on point. Can only recommend.

We spent 5 of the most memorable days on safari with our guide Lenty and his wonderful team. We felt safe throughout the trip and saw so many animals and beautiful landscapes. From wild dogs and lions to a boat cruise and chef “Machine’s” delicious camp cooking, the trip was everything we could have hoped for and more. Lenty is incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and such a laid back character who was so easy to get along with (he has some ripping stories too!) His colleagues in Jami (Screamer), Jomo and chef named “Machine” were all wonderful people and super helpful throughout also; the campsite was always set up with a warm shower and the meals provided were incredibly tasty. It all made for of the best experiences of our lives; could not recommend these guys more highly! From two happy campers Christian and Courtney

Francis and Adriana thanks to Petrus, our guide on his birthday, looking everywhere to find the big fives over the park, the appear on the corner and fullfill our emotions and expectation, then more than 12 giraffes, 5 or 6 rhinos, a lot of hipos, a dozen of elephants, and a lot more wild and free animals. Thanks Pilanesberg park and MoAfrika for this great day.

Amazing Trip with Great Guides, Food, and Planning
5/5

Our trip to Tanzania was truly amazing, all thanks to Jaribu Africa Adventures!

We had time to explore the towns on our own, but never had to worry about transport or timing. Everything was perfectly organized by the team, special thanks to Joseph for handling all the logistics so smoothly! We were picked up and dropped off at the airports in very comfortable vans, which made us feel safe, relaxed, and always on schedule.

The guides were fantastic too! Julius, our guide in the Serengeti, was especially great—funny, friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. He really made the safari special for us.

The Serengeti was absolutely breathtaking, just like we imagined and even better! What surprised us the most was how everything else also exceeded our expectations: the wildlife game drives were thrilling, the food was delicious, the views were stunning, and the hospitality was warm and welcoming. All these little touches made the trip unforgettable.

We also loved the lodges they recommended in Arusha, Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti, they were all perfect for our family. Big thanks again to Joseph and the whole team. We had such a great time and will always remember this adventure!

Discover Namibia: Affordable Tours, Exceptional Service, and Unforgettable Adventures!
5/5

I contacted People Tours and Safari in February, and Aina (Maggie) was the contact person who answered my questions and worked with me to create our 15-day budget camping tour in Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. She was incredibly helpful, always responding quickly, sometimes even at night. Maggie is a very hardworking woman. She was also very patient, as I had many questions, and because my daughter was on a limited budget, Maggie made adjustments to our itinerary as needed.

We eventually finalized our itinerary, and just two days before we were about to pay the deposit and fly to Windhoek, Maggie informed me that the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana was closed due to flooding. She suggested that if I had another agency after Namibia, we might want to consider switching to another company. I was surprised—why wouldn’t they try to keep the client? (The answer will come at the next.) In the end, she introduced us to another Botswana agency and even helped my daughter settle the bill for our next agency. Maggie was truly a helpful person. Although we figured things out on our own, her service came from the heart.

I later realized that the reason for switching agencies was that the tour guide in Namibia wasn’t allowed to guide tours in other countries. We ended up going to Zambia and Zimbabwe, and because of this rule, we had to switch companies in each country. That was something I hadn’t anticipated, but it didn’t detract from the overall experience.

Luke, our guide, picked us up on time. The company’s car was very comfortable, equipped with CarPlay, and it was a large Japanese 4x4 vehicle with a spacious trunk. Luke played great music every day, making our journey even more enjoyable. He is a very friendly, young, talkative, down-to-earth guy—patient and always helpful. I fondly remember the times we set up tents together, when he helped me climb Big Daddy in Sossusvlei and when I was scared of bugs, he’d always help me remove them. One time, I screamed at the lodge in Spitzkoppe, and Luke came to check if I was okay. He wasn’t just a good guide; he was also like a personal assistant. He helped me take pictures because my daughter was often away! He’s also good at photography, so you can rely on him if you have him as your guide. During the long rides, we shared stories, and after spending 10 days together—6 AM to 8 PM, from breakfast to dinner—we didn’t just feel like a guide and clients; we became friends.

After Luke picked me up at the airport and we arrived at the People Tours office, I realized that the currency exchange office had miscalculated and given me 200 Namibian dollars less (about 10€). Maggie was incredibly helpful and called the exchange office every day to follow up. After almost 7 days, when we passed by the airport on the way to Botswana, Luke took me back to the airport and helped me recover the N$200. This kind of service was outstanding—if this had happened in another country, I’m not sure I would have gotten the money back. Great job, Maggie and Luke!

I also noticed that Luke went out of his way to show kindness beyond the typical duties of a guide. On several occasions, he bought bread for the people who took care of his car. It was a thoughtful gesture that showed his generosity and compassion, making him not just a great guide but also a kind-hearted person.

Regarding the camping equipment, we were two travelers, so we were supposed to have one tent each. However, the tent is large enough for two people, so we used just one tent every night. If I had known we’d get everything double (like the lodge rooms, which we stayed in for two nights), I would have told Maggie we only needed one, perhaps saving a bit of money. They provided mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, and extra blankets for the chilly nights. They also provided torch, European adapter with long cable so that you can charge your personal devices in the tent. I particularly loved the smell of the blankets and pillows—they were fresh and clean because they were brought to the laundry after every client used them. They also supplied unlimited bottles of water and garbage bags for our belongings, as they would get dusty after every ride.

One of the highlights of the experience was that People Tours and Safari offered us a private tour at a very reasonable price. It felt like a personal experience tailored just for us, but without the hefty price tag that usually comes with private tours. That was a wonderful bonus and made the trip even more special.

In conclusion, People Tours and Safari made our trip in Namibia unforgettable and memorable. With helpful staff, affordable prices, clean and comfortable equipment, and a polite and sympathetic tour guide, I highly recommend them. I would give them not just 5 stars, but ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Honestly, this safari would not have been the same without Dickson. He is the heart and soul of the
5/5

Absolutely incredible experience! Our safari was beyond amazing, and we owe it all to our phenomenal guide, Dickson. From the moment we met him, it was clear that this would be a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Dickson wasn’t just knowledgeable—he was passionate, kind, and had an incredible eye for spotting wildlife. Thanks to Dickson, we saw the Big Five within the first two days, but what made it truly unforgettable was the way he shared stories, explained animal behavior, and made every moment feel magical.

Dickson made us feel safe, cared for, and completely immersed in nature. Every game drive with him was a joy—his humor, expertise, and love for the land and animals were contagious. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best views, the best photos, and the best memories.

Best tour guide ever.
5/5

Awesome tour company. We went on a 4 day, 3 night tour of lake Nakuru and the Mara. To our surprise, they had upgraded us to a jeep which was very awesome. The whole tour was very well planned, the guide knew when and where to get the best shots of the big 5. Overall experience was absolutely great and I highly recommend Leopard Orchid for your next safari.

Surpassed All Our Expectations
5/5

Our 7 days trip was so wonderful. We went to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We had guide Goodluck with us on the trip and he is such an amazing individual. He knew so much about the animals, the parks and also drove the vehicle carefully. We managed to see all the animals on our wish-list within the first three days which was just so amazing. We loved Serengeti National Park the most because there was so much to see and we also got the opportunity to experience with great wildebeest migration.
I have to comment on the camps and lodges as they were way more luxurious than we would have ever imagined. We had requested for middle level accommodations and honestly we felt that these lodges were luxurious. The food and the facilities were totally fabulous.
Given another opportunity I would still go with Migration Venture Africa
