Wonderful people to work with!
We booked an African safari through the African Safari Company and could hardly have had a better experience. The accommodations, the guides, the locations we went to - everything was just top notch. And their support and responsiveness to all our little questions were just wonderful. As people who knew almost nothing about going on a safari we needed a lot of help. Mike, the company founder, helped me choose an excellent trip for our interests and then Julia shepherded us through the process, providing all the information we needed for an easy and wonderful experience. Highly recommended!!

Every element was well organised and well documented - leaving me to enjoy a trouble-free and truly amazing trip.
Recommended without reservation.

Great company, excellent value
They did a great job from responding to our initial inquiries to making sure that everything went well after the safari. Deo and Catherine are friendly and informative, and we knew from the start that we were in good hands. Our guide, Aggrey, really made the difference for us while on safari, and not just because he has the sharpest eyes around (we saw a giant pangolin!) -- he's enthusiastic about animal-watching, and this flavored our whole experience. I've been on lots of safaris with other operators and bored driver/guides. Earthlife was easily the best experience I've had in over 25 years in and around Africa.

They delivered all the way!!
I climbed the Rwenzori Mountains in 2006, and I recommend anyone with an interest in flora and mountains. The gigantic afroalpine flora is extremely interesting and unique and richer here than in any other mountains in Africa. The pristine, unspoiled nature and the wild mountains are something you should not miss. I am coming back soon!

Top of the world!
We got to the top of Kilimanjaro!
The stay at your headquarters was more than great, people are extremely extremely friendly, helpful, honest and we really felt at home. Keep it up.
Your customer service is far more than excellent, response time to e-mails is just amazing.
Mountain trek as a whole was good, we really enjoyed our time, the weather and the climb.
During the trek the food was excellent in terms of quantity, quality, etc... we had no comments about that.
Guide ( Joseph ) and porters were friendly and very helpful to us. They really did everything they could to cheer us.

Trip of a Lifetime!!
Jumbo, Jumbo...This was our first Safari and cannot not imagine another "future" trip we may plan to another location that could exceed our expectations as much as this one. Starting from scratch, I discovered there are many, many tour operators from which to choose. I narrowed my choices based on reviews, intuition and response to my requests. In the end, what looked like a daunting task to select an operator, Ajabu Adventures made the decision easy. Their quick response to my questions (many), flexibility with our itinerary, suggestions, customer service, personal attention to our needs and wants and price were the highlights in making the decision to book our safari with Ajabu Adventures. Most importantly, when it came time to deliver, Ajabu exceeded our expectations in every way......lodging (5 star), tour guide (PAUL!!!), attractions, surprises, rare finds (attributed to Paul), culture and life and on and on. In fact, along the journey, we met some wonderful people and shared in many of the African customs. Our 9 day itinerary was just enough to want us to consider a return for the 25 day adventure in the future. Highly recommend two nights in the bush (tent camp) and part of a day with a Maasai Tribe community. Anja and her team, and Paul as our tour guide, truly provided my wife and I the trip of a life time. We have and will continue to share our experience and memories through our stories and photographs with friends and family. Asante sana Ajabu Adventures!

Recommending Africa Remote Safaris
We want to thank you for this great safari!
We had a wonderful stay in Kenya and Tanzania.( with Zanzibar)
Your organization was perfect, at no time we were disappointed. Except for the short delay at the border, not your fault of course. We saw landscapes, animals and made many friends along the way. We shall never forget Mto wa Mbu.
During all our safari we met 3 great guides, true professionals:
Agoi in Kenya
Shaff in Tanzania
Mwalima, our guide for Zanzibar spice tour.
A big thank you to these 3 people they were patient and always listening to us and always available for us. They have incredible knowledge of animals, the country and its cultures.
Regarding accommodations, Ol Moran Camp in Maasai Mara, Serenet Lodge on Lake Victoria, and Tingitana Ndutu Camp were execellent, better than some hotels in here in London! The food was very good,
Thank you to all the team of Africa Remote safaris for making this Safari a memorable experience for us.
THANK you! we are very happy.

Very disappointed
Extremely disappointed with this company. They had good reviews on tripadvisor so I signed up to a safari with this. At 9am I was excited to be leaving my hotel and going on safari. However, it became clear very quickly that I had not been picked up by a Big Time Safari car, but by another company. Big time passed me on to another company without telling me. The company they had sold my trip on to was called Right Choice, and believe me, it wasn’t the right choice. The bus was broken, and it took 9.5 hours for us to drive from Nairobi to Masai Mara. When we finally arrived it turned out that our rooms hadn’t been booked at the camp. Once that was sorted out it turned out that the driver didn’t know what time dinner would be. We went for a terrifying 1 hour game drive that evening. The rain was pelting down and the ground turned into a swamp, and the broken bus (with even less power than these buses normally have) got stuck several times. Fortunately we didn’t end up stuck in the mud in Masai Mara overnight, but between the broken bus and the rain it was more luck than anything else that we didn’t. I cancelled my trip the next morning and returned to Nairobi with a much more professional company. Big Time safari expressed no apology for selling on my trip to another company without notifying me. Nor have they been willing to refund any part of my failed safari.

Good organized and good value for money
We went on a three-day Safari in Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. The safari was very well organized and the plan designed according to our needs. OutOr your guide, Hamsa, was really nice and knew a lot about the places and animals. When there were questions he couldn't answer, he would consult his guide book and give us the information. The camping place was good and we really liked the food. It was quite calm, which gave us the opportunity to relax after the Safari. Peter was always friendly and ready to help us with the planing and answering our enquiries. We were very satisfied with the whole experience.

Exceptional trip at reasonable rate.
Our safari trip in Tanzania and stay in Zanzibar were exceptional. Our guide Emmanuel was excellent. During our 6 days with him, he made sure we saw the big nine up close and personal. Because he taught us patience, we had unique animal experiences that we will never forget. From the time Emmanuel picked us up at Mt. Kilimanjaro airport, he made sure we were well cared for and comfortable. He was knowledgeable and his English communications skills made it easy. We had a snafu with airport pick-up in Zanzibar, but all was worked out within 2 hours of our arrival. We had 3 days at a nice beach hotel but wish that we had stayed 2 nights at the beach and 2 nights at a hotel in Old Stone Town. One day in Stone Town was not enough. We knew it was a little risky, but we booked direct with Regional Tours. Without the middle man costs, our trip was affordable. Our safari lodging was very good and Regional Tours accommodated my request to stay at the Ngorongoro Farm House. It was lovely. For us, this was a trip of a lifetime and arrangements made through Regional Tours did not disappoint. Thank You.
