Great experience
A great experience! We did a 5-day safari visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara.
We were lucky enough to see 4 of the Big Five. Our driver and cook were always attentive and made sure we were well taken care of.
As for the accommodations, we spent 2 nights camping. I didn’t like the Serengeti campsite—there was no light in the bathrooms and it was poorly maintained. The Ngorongoro campsite, however, was excellent, completely different from the previous one. The other 2 nights we stayed in bungalows.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

We had an unforgettable safari experience in Kenya, visiting Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West.
Our driver, Cina, is truly the absolute number one! With his 21 years of experience, you can immediately see that he knows every single corner of these parks. He took us to incredible places and gave us the chance to see lions early in the morning – twice we were the very first car in the park to spot them, before anyone else arrived.
The lodges were very nice – not top luxury, but still comfortable and charming. The agency handled things fairly well overall, although we were asked to make part of the payment in cash: an initial deposit with bank transfer/credit card, and then quite a big amount we had to withdraw in cash for the balance. Apart from this, everything went smoothly.
This safari was a fantastic, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I especially want to thank Cina, our driver – without him, it wouldn’t have been the same. Truly the best!

Amazing experience on a budget
We really enjoyed our 6 days safari. The communication with the office was smooth from the beginning, everything happened as expected. The jeep was in a good condition, the accomodations were nice. Our tourguide, David was amazing. He was really prepared, he shared a lot of interesting things about the animals, national parks and generally about Kenya. He is professional, kind and funny. I really recommend the company.

Jonathan is the best Safari guide in Kenya!
Rochar did and excellent job of customizing a 5 day private safari for our 50th wedding anniversary. Experienced with Kenya group safaris, we were looking for a unique experience with an excellent trained and personable guide. We could not have been happier than we were with Jonathan, who group up on the Maasai Mara, attended guide school and clearly has a passion for the land and animals, his tribal heritage and his growing family. With many prior safaris previously, we expecially appreciated that he could easily see and identify the most obscurely hidden animal, plant or bird, providing the characteristics my bird-loving husband especially enjoyed. Without great effort he found all the big animals but had the patience to let us just sit quietly watching even smaller animals or listening to the wind througout the 4 parks we visited. The 5 days will never be forgotten as our best safari ever. The Rochar Office Staff planner provided excellent communication and rapid response.
