Extensive knowledge of the country, to give the best advice and organize a great tour
5/5

I wanted to say a big thank you for all the planning and organization of our trip. (17 Days - 6 people including two children ages 11 and 9)

From the initial exciting camping, to the last wonderful lodge in South Luangwa – All the locations were very well chosen. The boat on Lake Kariba, staying at Dawn's cottages, the estate with wild life and many polo horses, the big chalet in Lower Zambezi!

And thank you to all the team that assisted us - Andrew, Monica, Joseph. Also in Bostwana and South Luangwa we had really great guides.

We were very lucky to see amazing animals, not at once but at each location new and even more special – I won’t bore you with photos :) But there all the usual suspects – highlight was the leopards, the pride of lions, the big heards of elephants, buffalos, wild dogs… and everything in between.

All the best from Switzerland

Our Honeymoon in Tanzania: An Unforgettable Adventure
5/5

Our honeymoon was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. While we encountered a minor hiccup with our luggage upon arrival, the incredible efforts of Abbey and Charles to ensure our continued journey and swiftly locate our belongings made a significant difference.

Our itinerary, which included Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park, offered a diverse and unforgettable safari experience. Although the Serengeti with its vast plains and abundant wildlife remains a highlight, each location held unique magic.

Our first close encounter with elephants at Lake Manyara was truly awe-inspiring. Witnessing a family of elephants so intimately moved me to tears. The Serengeti offered endless wonders: cheetah cubs playing, lions lounging in trees, a slithering adder, ostriches sprinting, and vultures feasting. Despite arriving outside the main migration season, Abbey expertly guided us to a location where we witnessed thousands of wildebeest, a sight we will never forget. We were privileged to observe intimate moments: a mother wildebeest nurturing her calf, zebras crossing the road, hippos frolicking in the water, and giraffes gracefully browsing alongside baboons. The sheer diversity of antelope species, particularly the tiny dikdik, was fascinating.

To top it off, Abbey surprised us with a magical sunset experience in the heart of the Serengeti, complete with a table, chairs, snacks, and a bottle of Tanzanian wine.

Ngorongoro Crater offered close encounters with playful hyenas, a mother and baby rhino, and lions venturing near our jeep. In Tarangire, we witnessed the thrilling chase of lionesses hunting zebra, a reminder of the circle of life.

Abbey was an exceptional guide. His infectious laughter, his deep knowledge of wildlife, and his ability to create unforgettable experiences made our honeymoon truly special. We are eternally grateful for his dedication and the memories we made together.

The daily lunches, prepared at scenic viewpoints, were a delightful experience. We even had the company of curious monkeys on one occasion!

At Abbey's suggestion, we visited a local village, gaining valuable insights into the lives of local people and experiencing their culture and way of life. We walked around the villages, sampled banana beer, and observed the vibrant market. Visiting a local school and witnessing the resilience and joy of the children was a particularly moving experience.

Our accommodations were consistently excellent, offering a range of options, all impeccably clean and with exceptional hospitality. Tukome camp in the Serengeti was a highlight, offering a luxurious glamping experience with breathtaking views of the endless plains. Waking up to the sounds of the Serengeti and enjoying the sunrise from our deck will forever be etched in our memories.

Tanzania Safari Supremacy exceeded all our expectations. From the personalized service and expert guidance of Abbey and Charles to the seamless handling of our initial travel hiccup, we are incredibly grateful for the unforgettable experience they provided.

African Big Cats Safaris deserves their Awards
5/5

Our safari was incredible with African Big Cats Safaris. Khalid was our guide and was outstanding at knowing where to find the animals. We had very close encounters with all the big cats, elephants, rhinos, hippos, wildebeast, zebras, etc. African Big Cats is on top of ALL the details and is very easy to work with. They meet with you before and after the safari to explain details and then get feedback so they can improve....truly service oriented and very reasonable priced. We went in the "rainy season" vs. the "high season" and we were glad we did. I'm not sure why anyone would go in the high season. In 5 days, it only rained at night or very late afternoon and the weather was cool and comfortable and mosquitos were never a problem. It is much cheaper and less crowded as well. We got luxury accommodations for mid-level prices. Without the crowds, you can spend time with the animals without 30 other vehicles rushing up and scaring them off talking loudly, etc. Check out the photos below.....as they say, there is no guarantee you will see wildlife but we saw something incredible every hour it seemed. I can't say enough about Big Cats Safaris professionalism and quality service.

We decided on a last minute fishing trip. Although it was organised quickly, the staff were helpful and accommodating. We had a great time, although not catching alot. It was amazing to be on the water on such a nice evening

A Small Lodge delivering a huge experience.
5/5

Staying at Ku Sungula Safari Lodge was an experience beyond anything I could have imagined—it was pure magic from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and a refreshing drink. What truly sets this lodge apart is the staff. The guides were not only incredibly knowledgeable but also passionate about the land and its wildlife. Each game drive was a thrilling adventure, packed with sightings of the Big Five and narrated with stories and facts that brought the bush to life. If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime escape that stirs your soul, reconnects you with nature, and wraps you in world-class luxury, Ku Sungula Safari Lodge is it. I left with memories I’ll cherish forever—and a deep desire to return.

In the Heart of Nature
5/5

I went on a safari with my partner with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris, and it was undoubtedly the best safari experience we’ve ever had. From the first contact to the last day of the trip, everything was perfectly organized, professional, and full of details that made all the difference.
Our guide, Jacob, was amazing. His knowledge of the wildlife, parks, and local culture made every moment fascinating. Additionally, his willingness to teach us about all types of animals and explain their behavior greatly enriched the experience. Thanks to him, we were able to see the Big Five in their natural habitat, which was a dream come true.
We enjoyed stays at some of Tanzania’s most iconic parks, such as Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro, where each park offered a unique experience. The views, the wildlife, and the atmosphere were simply stunning. The stay in the Ngorongoro Crater was especially memorable, as it felt like being in a world apart, surrounded by nature at its finest.
I also want to highlight the fantastic chef Buga, who did an amazing job ensuring we had different, delicious, balanced, and healthy meals throughout the trip. The meals were truly exceptional, and not only that, there were always drinks available, even in the middle of the Serengeti, which made the experience even more comfortable and enjoyable.
The accommodations were comfortable, the food was excellent, and the human warmth was truly remarkable.
I highly recommend this company to everyone, whether it’s your first safari or you’ve been on others: Jacob and Buga know how to create a unique and unforgettable experience. Thank you for everything!
Asante Sana

For Kruger Park and Eswatini, there's only Elephant Herds Tours & Safaris
5/5

Excellent and very quick tour information. You get a quote within hours. Brendon Steele offers you perfect hotels and lodges, organizes safe and very friendly drivers/quides in excellent cars. If you can't drive into the parks, he organizes very good companies to bring you into the park (Hluhluwwe iMfolizi for example). If you have any questions, Brendon will answer them the same day or even the same hour.. For us there is really only one tour operator in Hazyview, Elephant Herds.
