Excellent Safari Tour Operator
We had an incredible safari experience as well as a honeymoon and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing tour guide, Felix. From the moment we set off, Felix was friendly, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about the wildlife and local culture. He had an incredible eye for spotting animals — even ones that were really well hidden! Thanks to him, we saw everything from lions and elephants to rare birds we would’ve completely missed on our own.
What made the experience even more special was how informative he was. Felix didn’t just point out animals — he shared fascinating facts about their behaviours and habitats, as well as insights into the area’s history and traditions. It gave the whole trip so much more depth and meaning.
We felt safe, well looked after, and completely immersed in the experience. We highly recommend this safari tour.
The service overall was excellent – everyone we met was welcoming and helpful. All the lodges we stayed at were great and the food was also great and tailored to everyone’s pre requested dietary and/or religious restrictions.
We came away with great memories and a much better understanding of the region. Having someone as experienced and enthusiastic as Felix really made the trip something special.
I also want to give a big thank you to Grace who I was in initial contact with prior to our trip and made the booking through. Her communication was great and responded to all my queries with quick responses and gave me a detailed itinerary of what to expect and locations we would be staying which was really helpful.
Word of note. If you’re planning on visiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area/Crater (which I highly recommend), it can get cold up in the mountain so pack warm clothes.

Wonderful experience with Kajie Safaris and Eddie
We have just completed our 8 day safari trip with Kajie Safaris and we couldn't be happier. At Entebbe airport we met our guide, Eddie, who was patient and smiling despite our flight delay. Great service overall
The tour was great and the wildlife guides were knowledgeable and did their best to search for different species. The comfort breaks were well appreciated. Going home from the lodge was stressful as we had to changed vehicles for 3-4 times. But we're glad that they arranged a car to take us directly back home halfway of the journey.

Unforgettable Safari Experience – Gorilla & Chimpanzee Trekking
Our chimpanzee and gorilla trekking safari was truly an unforgettable experience—something that words can hardly capture. Both parks were incredibly well organized, and the treks were made smooth and enriching by knowledgeable and passionate guides who truly love what they do.
A special shoutout to our guide, Jerry. He was fantastic—friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. He went above and beyond to accommodate our tight schedule, even driving long hours to make sure we could do everything in a compact time frame. Jerry is a young man who embodies the warm and welcoming spirit of Uganda, and having him as our guide made the trip even more memorable.
One thing to note: some of the roads in more remote areas were in poor condition, which made travel slower than expected. It's a good idea to factor in extra time when planning your itinerary.
If you're considering this adventure, go for it—you won't regret it.

From the very first contact, Lucy’s service was impeccable. She was truly an angel always patient, kind, and attentive. We had an unexpected issue with our flight and missed our connection, which forced us to change both the hotel and the start of our safari and she handled everything with such care, sweetness, and efficiency. And what can we say about our guide, Khalifa? A true master of the savannah! Incredibly experienced, deeply passionate about what he does, and with an amazingly sharp eye. He spotted animals long before any other car arrived. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to see the complete Big Five, always with the best views, no rush, no crowds. He always found the perfect spots and explained every detail about the wildlife around us with so much knowledge and good humor. On top of that, he was fun, relaxed, and made our safari days even more special.

Lawrence is an excellent guide who is humorous kindhearted and knowledgeable
We don’t have to worry about anything, once we landed, they will pick us up at the airport and send us to the airport at the last day. We spent most of the time with Lawrence during safari and he can always help us find the best spot to observe wild animals. We were warmly welcomed and served by all staffs in the hotel and the travel agency.

Namibia is a destination that you will want to return to again and again.
We recently had the pleasure of spending a 2 week self-driving holiday in Namibia. We did a 1800km clockwise loop that included the desert parks of the Namib desert, stops in Walvis Bay and Swakopmund, up the Skeleton ghost to the hiking and famed wildlife parks. The trip exceeded our expectations in Namibia's beauty and ease of travel. In addition to the world class parks of outstanding beauty and excellent wildlife viewing, we experienced the warmth and friendliness of the Namibian people. Wherever we went, we were greeted with smiles, and strangers that were willing to help.
Another surprise was the hiking options that were present in lots of the areas we visited. Etendeka hikes and camps were a real highlight, with the night skies being an unforgettable experience.
We are already counting the days until we return again to this fantastic country.

Amazing days with Ben in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
Our guide and driver, Ben, was amazing. He knew a lot about the animals, was very friendly, and made us laugh. He could spot animals from far away and always found the best places for us to see them without bothering them. We felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. We picked the best accommodation package, and all the places we stayed were great clean, comfortable, and in beautiful spots. This safari was a dream come true. Exceptional Honeymoon
We booked with Shadows of Africa for our honeymoon trip and had a fantastic time. Prior to the trip communication was easy and we felt that all our questions were answered promtly and effectively. As first time Safari travellers we had a LOT of questions. Any requests or changes were easily accomidated and our specialist Karen was wonderfull.
The real magic happened once we got onsite and we ended up having an unforgettable experience. Our guide Charles was very knowledgeble, helfull and overall was fantastic.
The lodges were wonderfull and during our trip there was an issue with one of our originally booked camps and prior to arrival we got upgraded to another camp that ended up being our favourite stay during the trip.
I apreciated the environmental commitment and the elimation of single use plastic bottles at most camps and the safari vehicle. We were given a metal water bottle and the car came equipped with a 20L jug of water. Most of the camp also provided drinking water in jugs.
