This was a great welcome to South Africa being the first event of our trip. We were able to see many of the big 5 and were treated with great views and picture opportunities. Wisdom was a great guide, very knowledgeable and helped to spot all sorts of game!

Incredible experience from start to finish – well organized, reliable, and truly memorable!
We booked a 6-day safari with Splendid Vacations covering Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara, and had an absolutely amazing experience. Our driver Julius was the heart of the trip — kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the start, he showed his deep experience: in Amboseli, he guided us to a cheetah family, and we were the only ones there to witness it! Throughout the tour, he adapted to our pace and made us feel completely at ease — whether it was letting us rest quietly during long drives or sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife and landscapes. We ended up seeing every animal we’d hoped for, often up close. Communication and planning with the company was smooth and professional, and everything was handled seamlessly. We had the best time and would absolutely recommend Splendid Vacations to anyone looking for a personal, expertly guided safari.
