Sylivia was always responsive and prompt to my many emails and was extremely patient with my multiple requests and needs. When i asked to visit the Genocide Memorial in Rwanda (that was not part of the tour), she readily agreed even though it took an extra 1.5 hours! When she dropped me of after the tour, she insisted on seeing me off even though she could have left earlier. She came from Kampala to Kigali just to ensure that the tour would be as promised. I could not have asked for a better tour operator! She was also the most reasonable of all the agencies i contacted. Recommend her very, very highly!!

Imani Excursions gave us the experience of a lifetime!!
Beginning with our greeting at the airport, Imani Excursions did not disappointment through the entire trip. The owner, Imani himself came out to give us a big welcoming. Our tour guides David and Julius were always cheerful, very knowledge about the areas we visited and the animals we encountered. They knew where to find the animals. I'm still in disbelief about the heart pounding encounters we had with the animals. We came away learning about the animals, the culture and were even taught a little Swahili. Thank you David and Julius!! This is definitely something my family and especially our kids will never forget because of you.
Our accommodations were beautiful staying at Manyara's Secret and the Lahia Luxury Tent Lodge. Manyara's Secret was right on the lake with your own individual private pools. The food was delicious and staff were very welcoming and attentive. The whole place was gorgeous. In Lahia, other than the zip up walls you wouldn't even think you were in a tent. The rooms were large, huge bed and overlooked the Serengeti with the two sinks and toilet inside your tent. There was a beautiful private outdoor shower attached to your room. Animals came right up to the lodge. It was incredible walking through zebras on the way to dinner.
There are many tour companies in Tanzania. You should not hesitate in booking with Imani and his staff. You can tell that they love their jobs and are in awe with us encountering the animals even after many years of giving tours. This translated to an incredible and unforgettable experience for us. Imani Excursions made us fall in love with Tanzania and if we ever get back there we will definitely book with them again.

Noel was a fantastic guide

Brenda arranged our travel and stay very smoothly, and attended to any changes in plans and unexpected circumstances quickly and effectively. She created plans for our review and made it easy to arrange the whole trip.
Noel was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable and where he did not have a piece of information at his fingertips, he had books on birds and animals in the Serengeti to which he would quickly refer, and share the information with us. Our kids peppered him with questions that he always was willing to discuss and engage on. He knew the area inside out and also discussed and adjusted our itenarary based on our interests. We spent the first day in Ngoro Ngoro and then entered the Serengeti through the South. Over our five days we covered a lot of ground. We started with a marvellous viewing of three cheetahs, moved on to the central region, then spent a day exploring the early days of the wildebeest migration. On the last day we went up north, to explore crocodiles on the river Mara. In addition to seeing lots of animals, we also really enjoyed the landscape, getting details on the plants and vegetation, and the social patterns of animal behaviour. It was amazing to see a Imphala male chase a possible competitor from among a group of young bachelors to send a strong message to other competitors and his herd. In many cases, we were able to get away from crowded areas and savour the peace and vastness of the savannah. Noel seemed to enjoy and share in our enthusiasm, and was good company during out travels. I have no doubt that his skill and warm personality were key to our very enjoyable trip.

Professional, responsive, client-oriented
With this travel agency I have visited Gondor, Simein mountains and Lalibela. I was teavelling by myself and have felt safe all the time. Upon arrival, we were greeted with drinks and goodies. If you are planning to go there book with these guys. They have great knowledge of all the animals and take you to all the great places. Our 4-day safari in the Masai Mara was unforgettable, all thanks to our amazing guide. We saw countless lions, elephants, and other wildlife, but it was the small surprises and his genuine care that made the experience truly special. He guided us with heart, and we wouldn’t want anyone else by our side.
