Dav Safari is a professional and reliable tour operator offering unforgettable wildlife experiences
We recently traveled with Dav Safari and had an unforgettable experience! Thanks to their excellent organization, we were able to see the majestic mountain gorillas — truly one of the most breathtaking adventures of our lives.
A special thank you to our guide and driver, Isaac. He was incredibly friendly, always punctual, and very knowledgeable about the region. With him, we felt safe, well taken care of, and learned so much about Uganda’s nature and culture. Thank you for an amazing journey!

A wonderful, reliable, experience!
My review of the 3-day trip to Tsavo East and West couldn’t be more positive: Our guide, Cornelius, was gracious, knowledgeable, flexible… Wonderful in every sense. The car we used was modern, clean, spacious for me and my wife.
An the rides were something else. I didn’t expect Tsavo to be so beautiful and so full of life.
The lodges where we stayed, Ashnil Aruba lodge and Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, were very impressive, both next to a water hole. The two days we stayed there our rooms were next to the water, and we could see the animals, elephants zebras, Oryxes, etc., next to us.
The buffets had a big selection and good quality in their food.
I would end up saying that we would definitely contact your service again when we go back, which we hope will be very soon.

An unforgettable safari — professional yet full of joy
We went on a 5-day safari starting from Arusha, and from the very beginning, we felt safe and truly welcomed by African Big Cats Safaris — especially thanks to our guide, Dominick. Thanks to them, we didn’t just get to see the incredible landscapes and wildlife of Tanzania, but also got a glimpse into the local culture and daily life.
The vehicle they provided was always in excellent condition, the accommodations and meals offered great value for money, and communication throughout the trip was clear and transparent. One thing we really appreciated was that the company never tried to upsell us. On the contrary, they seemed genuinely focused on making sure we had a great experience, even offering some complementary services and advising us against certain activities given the season we visited.
As for the safari itself, we managed to spot 4 of the famous Big 5 — leopards were a bit shy this time, but we were lucky enough to see some stunning cheetahs instead ;) We took amazing photos and learned a lot about animal behavior and the different species along the way. Dominick, with his 9+ years of experience, had a great eye for spotting wildlife and picking up small details from far away, all while making sure we stayed safe because he sometimes had to drive while speaking to us. He also shared plenty of interesting facts about nature and the Maasai traditions, which made the trip even more special.

A professional and well run organization
I did the Zimbabwe and Botswana Game Tracker in May-June 2025, with 11 other travelers. Our transportation was a Sprinter mini bus.
We were a very diverse group with the youngest being 22 and oldest (me) 71, coming from 5 different countries. The group dynamic was fantastic. I found Sunway Safaris to be a very professional company and everything ran like a well oiled machine. The food was wholesome varied and plentiful, prepared by our 2 multifunctional guides. There was always a full crate of fruit availabe in the bus, to sweeten the long hours of travel. Expect some long days of travel, through very bad and potholed roads, (in my opinion worth it for the amount of game we saw). Our guide and driver, Cloud was an excellent driver and didn't hit a pothole once. The accommodations were at best, very good and at worst adequate and clean. The itinerary was varied with cultural, botanical and geographical aspects also covered. Sunway can' t guarantee how many or which animals we would see, but we seemed to be very lucky and got to see all the five plus cheetah. I would like to compliment our guides Ayibongwe (Ay) and Cloud, for being cool and collected in all situations, passionate about their jobs, the animals and local folklore, and could also cook well. Thanks to you both, we couldn't have asked for better guides.
I would definitely recommend this tour.

He is friendly, understanding, patient and very social.
I loved everything about the trip. The driver (Benjamin) made things fun, he listened to our requests like during the game drive the things we wanted. He kept time, and communication was passed well and gave us a chance to suggest the timings and anything regarding the trip.

Once in a lifetime safari experience – Highly recommended!
We just came back from the most incredible 8-day camping safari with Meru Slopes, and we can’t recommend it enough! From start to finish, everything was perfectly arranged, and the entire team went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable trip. You get a really good value for the money you pay!
First of all, our chef Dulla was absolutely amazing. He’s not only the sweetest person ever, but also the best chef – we were surprised every day by the delicious meals he prepared three times a day.
Nickson, who picked us up from the airport, made us feel welcome right away. He’s incredibly friendly and knows everything about Tanzania – we learned so much from him before the safari even started.
Our main contact, Gift, was super responsive and helpful. No matter the question, we had an answer within minutes – that level of service made the whole experience stress-free and smooth.
And of course, the safari itself was absolutely magical. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, along with so many other incredible animals and landscapes. Sleeping in tents under the stars was better than expected and felt like an important part of our once-in-a-lifetime experience.
If you’re looking for an authentic, exciting, and well-organized safari adventure, book the 8-day camping trip with Meru Slopes. You won’t regret it!
And we definitely recommend to ask for Dulla as your chef and Nickson as your tour guide. Those guys are so funny, friendly and enthousiactic about the safari!
