An absolutely incredible adventure!
My husband and I spent 8 days climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and 9 days on safari. We heard of Tanzania Choice Safaris through family and learned that Brenda grew up in the same hometown! The whole process was seamless. Brenda is very organized, and we appreciated the detail she put into planning our itinerary. When we arrived, we were thankful for the welcome gift and smooth process to get to our hotel. Throughout our trip, everything was well planned, our lodging was beautiful, the food was delicious, and we were happy with the amount of wildlife we saw!
We also wanted to highlight the wonderful people we met on this trip. Our Kilimanjaro climb crew and our safari guide were knowledgeable, kind, supportive, and professional. We absolutely loved learning about the culture and animals. These are relationships we'll remember for a long time!
The value of this trip was excellent. We were so happy that our itinerary was planned for us, and we could trust that the guides would take care of us and get us to where we needed to be. This was truly an adventure of a lifetime, and we hope to come back one day.

The best safari ever
My friends and I booked a 3 Days Maasai Mara safari and it was one of our greatest decision. We had been planning to go for sometime and didnt conclude on it, but eventually got opportunity to go. We stayed at a very nice lodge Jambo Mara Safari Lodge that has a nice pool and amazing rooms which was a perfect suggestion from Milana Tours and Safaris to whom we also booked the entire safari with.
The driver was a maasai local guide who was super great and very knowledgeable. We were lucky to see only 4 of the big 5 animals, the leopard missing out. Which were told were difficult to find. Nonetheless it was the best safari ever!

I had a great experience booking a 12 day safari in Kenya and Tanzania with Camptrek Safaris. We went to Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Masai Mara National Reserve, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park, and Tarangire National Park.
From the start, Margaret was extremely helpful and accommodating in assisting planning and booking the safari beforehand. I had many questions and added or changed a few things in the itinerary, and she answered promptly in detail and easily changed the itinerary when asked. She was friendly the whole time and never made me feel like I was bothering her with questions. She also helped me book a flight for the end of the safari because the airline's website wasn't working for me. I highly recommend working with Margaret to plan your trip!
Once I arrived in Nairobi, Margaret was there waiting for me at the airport with a clear sign when I exited customs, which took an immensely long time, yet she was still patiently waiting there! The flight was delayed and customs took probably over an hour, so I was thankful that Margaret was willing to wait so long and late at night for me. The taxi van that took me to the first hotel was very nice, too.
I had 2 guides and 2 vehicles - one for Kenya and one for Tanzania.
Julius Pilipili was my first guide and I would give him 5 stars! He was very friendly, upbeat, and excellent overall. He had an interest in photography, so he was able to understand angles and light very well and set me up with great positions for shots without me needing to even ask. I don't know if I even asked once for him to move where we stopped the vehicle… He just automatically knew where to stop. He really has a talent for guiding. We saw a ton of animals (big 5 included)! I definitely don't think you'll be disappointed having him guide you.
Both guides were knowledgeable about the wildlife giving interesting fun facts and always had answers if I asked. If you are serious about photography, I would highly recommend trying to get Julius to guide the whole trip because that's what I would want next time! I was really impressed with him and liked his energy.
The hotels were all very nice and enjoyable. Beautiful rooms with many having good views. I even got upgraded because of a misunderstanding, and I really appreciated that Camptrek Safaris listened to my concern and responded in a way that let me know that they cared about my experience and wanted to make it up to me. It would make me feel comfortable to book again with them in the future knowing that if any other issues were to arise, they would be willing to listen and help.
Overall, the whole experience with them was great! I was a little nervous beforehand booking with Camptrek Safaris since they don't have quite as many reviews as some of the other companies I came across, but I was looking to support a smaller business employing locals and they also offered some of the best pricing I inquired about, while also being more responsive than some others. I can assure you after my experience though, they are legit and I think anyone would really enjoy their trip with them!

He was very friendly, caring and with a great knowledge about the culture, animals and nature.
As I was traveling through the national parks, I was able to witness the wonderful view and all of the "Big Five" animals. It was extraordinary. I was even able to get a very close look at them. Such astonishing animals.
Given the abroad location, I got surprised with a perfectly timed and organized service at the tour and the accommodations.
I'm so thankful, that I even got to talk and visit the locals at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
All in all, what is left to say is that it was a breathtaking experience and I would definitely recommend this adventure!
My next journey will be Tanzania again.

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a 4-day safari with this fantastic tour company, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Philemon Joel, the safari organizer, was absolutely top-notch. His communication leading up to the trip was clear and thorough, and he made sure every detail was taken care of—no small task when planning a safari! Philemon's knowledge of Serengeti National Park and the surrounding areas was impressive, and it really showed in the personalized itinerary he crafted for us. He made sure we got to see all the highlights while avoiding the crowds, ensuring that we had an authentic and serene experience.
Our driver guide, Joshua, deserves a special mention as well. He was an exceptional guide throughout the trip. Not only was he skilled in navigating the park's sometimes tricky terrain, but his deep knowledge of the wildlife was fascinating. Joshua was always patient, ready to answer our questions, and made sure we were in the best spots for wildlife sightings. His enthusiasm for the animals and the park's ecosystem made the trip even more enjoyable.
The safari itself was simply breathtaking. We saw a wide variety of animals—everything from majestic elephants to elusive big cats, and Joshua made sure we had plenty of opportunities for incredible photos and observations. Each day felt like a new adventure, and the accommodations were comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring.
Overall, I highly recommend Aardvark Expeditions for anyone looking to explore Serengeti National Park and other national parks of Tanzania. The professionalism of Philemon Joel and Joshua, combined with their passion for nature, made this an unforgettable experience. Amazing

It was a pleasure and fun to spend time with our guide Jackson. As stated above he was very considerate, professional, knowledgeable and looked after us extremely well.
