Very nice
I joined a 3-day group tour to Masai Mara during my trip to Kenya, and it was an amazing experience! Everything was well-organized and smooth. I especially want to thank our guide, Edu — he was super friendly, knowledgeable, and drove very safely throughout the journey.
Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Kenya! It was truly one of the highlights of my African adventure.🦁

Fantastic Safari with Jocky Tours
I booked this tour from Sweden based on the reviews I saw at SafariBookings. I booked the tour 3 night / 4 days. We visited Masai Mara, Lake Navashu and Lake Nakura national park.
I must say that everything worked perfectly from pick up at hotel in Narobi until drop off at the same place. Our guide / driver was David with 18 years of experience from Masai Mara. His guiding and driving was absolutely world class. He knew his way around Masai Mara like no other. Thanks a lot. I can only give my best recs !!

Absolute Best Tour Guide
Our family of 10 traveling from both the U.S. and the U.K. booked a 10-day tour with Enat Tours, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment Ashu greeted us at the airport with his warm smile, we felt completely at ease. He was so friendly, easy to talk to, and right away we knew we were in good hands.
Ashu is an absolutely incredible tour guide, professional, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what he does. The way he explained the history and culture of Ethiopia was fascinating; sometimes it felt like we were watching a live documentary. His storytelling was so brilliant, especially when we got to Lalibela. I personally felt transported, completely immersed in the beauty and history of those rock-hewn churches.
We explored so many amazing places: Addis Ababa, Blue Nile Falls, Lake Tana, Gondar, the Simien Mountains, and of course, Lalibela. Each destination was special in its own way, and Ashu made every moment unforgettable. He took care of every little detail, made sure we were always comfortable, and kept a smile on his face the entire time.
What made this trip even more meaningful is that this was the first time our entire family had traveled together. That could’ve easily been overwhelming, but Ashu handled it all with so much grace and patience. He truly understood us, and it felt like he was part of the family by the end of the trip.
Ethiopia is a beautiful country, and this tour opened our eyes and hearts in ways we’ll never forget. But what made it truly special was Ashu, his kindness, his knowledge, his energy, and that constant, genuine smile.
Thank you, Ashu, for making our time in Ethiopia so memorable. You’re one of a kind, and we’re so grateful for everything you did for us!

We had a fantastic time in the Okawango Delta
We booked the 3 Days, 2 Night Safari in Kwai (Okawango). We were lucky to be the only tourists on that trip. Our guide Jamie made sure that we had a fantastic time. He asked us which animals we would like to see most. Because we already spend 5 weeks in Namibia and Botswana, we were mostly interested in carnivors. During our time there we saw lions on many occasions, a leopard, hyenas, wilddogs, monkeys, elefants, giraffs, different antilopes, hippos, crocodiles and many birds. We were even able to include a short Mokoro experience and a night drive.
In camp, Machine and Owner spoiled us with fantastic food. The camp itself was great as well - a bush toilette behind the camp during nighttime and normal toilets a few meters away during the day. We even got warm water for the shower. In the evening, we sat together and had great conversations and enjoyed the sounds of nature together.
We enjoyed our stay a lot and can recommend this tour operator! It is also a tour operator from Botswana, so that the money stay in Botswana and is not going into the pocked of a foreign tour operator, which was important for us.
Well earned 5 stars :)

A few Issues and an Inexperienced Guide
Unfortunately, our trip did not meet the 5-star expectations that led us to book this experience. From the outset, there were a number of concerns that impacted our overall enjoyment.
On the first day, we were left waiting outside the Genocide Memorial for over 45 minutes. Our guide dropped us off at the entrance and said he would park the car and return, but he never reappeared. We tried looking for him around the area and the vehicle, but he was nowhere to be found. We never received an explanation for what happened during that time.
The driving throughout Kigali felt unsafe and erratic. The guide frequently seemed unsure of the directions, and on multiple occasions, we had to assist using Google Maps. It was evident that he lacked confidence driving in Rwanda and was unfamiliar with many of the destinations on our itinerary.
Communication was another major challenge. Instructions and updates were often unclear and lacked the level of professionalism we expected. While it was clear that our guide meant well and was trying to do a good job, we strongly feel he needs further training and more experience to meet the standards promised.
Additionally, prior to the start of the trip, we attempted several times to pay the remaining balance ahead but did not receive the invoice until the final day of the trip. We were then told we couldn’t leave the lodge until payment was made — despite unreliable Wi-Fi and power outages that made it nearly impossible to complete the transaction promptly. This situation made us feel as if we were being held hostage, which was stressful and unnecessary.
That said, we do want to acknowledge and sincerely appreciate the support we received from the company during the trip, especially when we had to cancel the Golden Monkey trek due to a health issue with my partner. The understanding and flexibility shown during that situation were truly appreciated and made a difficult moment easier to manage.
While there were some highlights — notably the incredible gorilla trekking and a few lovely accommodations — these moments were overshadowed by the logistical issues and lack of professionalism throughout the rest of the experience.

Amazing safari
Our safari was an unforgettable adventure! It was very easy to book and everything went perfectly according to plan. Our guide Kapande was always on time, professional, and made sure we had a clear plan for each day. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole experience even more special.
We saw elephants, lions, giraffes, and a lot more from close up in the wild. The landscapes were stunning. The whole trip was exciting, well-organized, and truly special. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature and wants a seamless, memorable experience!

Spectacular Wildlife Experience
Our tour with Ombeni was sensational. We saw the “big 5” and so much more besides. He was an extremely experienced guide with great knowledge of the animals and environment. This was coupled with a friendly demeanor and great sense of humour.

Wow! All I can say is it was perfect!
Wow! All I can say is it was perfect!
Planning a dream safari is overwhelming! We researched safaribookings.com and got multiple quotes before ultimately choosing one from Anne at Ku Sungula. So glad we did! We were sold on the intimate private lodge setting and ideal location within greater Kruger. Anne helped us find just the right itinerary (5 day bush and lion) and arranged all the logistics in advance so we could have a stress free time.
Safari exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we were greeted upon arrival until departure everyone treated us so well! The people, facility, service, food and of course the game drives were all excellent! My only regret is not booking a longer stay! (I literally cried when we had to leave and they gave us our special going away treat!).
We had a lot to celebrate as a family this year and couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend time together. Thank you for the wonderful memories! Can’t wait to come back!

Overall an amazing safari experience with a great guide, but company lacked some professionalism
Communication: from the beginning our communication with jockey was sufficient but not perfect. When we would ask questions, only some of them would get answered. Leading to more follow up emails until we just left some unanswered.
Service: when we arrived at the office our transaction was handled smoothly, but we think it helped to have our exact cash payment ready (even though this wasn’t ideal to carry around large amounts of cash). A day into our safari, the office called us to say that some of our currency was “dirty” or “marked” even though it just came from an ATM. They asked that we exchange $200 for different bills at our next stop. Our guide spoke with them, assured them we were nice people and they called back to apologize and say they made a mistake..
Value for money: overall we were happy with our accommodation and value for a private tour with 4x4 Land Cruiser when compared to other companies. Out of several accommodations, our favourite was Manjaro Tented Camp near Amboseli.
Reliability: overall good, but we did show up to one hotel that we were told we would be staying at (the same one our guide was told), only to be notified that they didn’t have room for us and the were told we had to go elsewhere. In the end, not a big deal, but felt unorganized
Tour itself: overall an amazing safari! We did ann 8 day tour tour to Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nukuru, annd Amboseli. Even with some of the shortcomings mentioned above we had an amazing safari experience! Our guide Kaseini was from a local Masai village and navigated the parks extremely well, particularly in the Masai Mara, his local insights and cultural pride made our safari experience special. We saw the big five, and many other animals and birds—everything we were hoping to see and more.
