Excellent communication, service, and a tailored safari experience thanks to our amazing guide Baluk
5/5

We had an incredible safari experience with Kajie Safaris. From the very beginning, communication was clear, friendly, and efficient. The entire tour was well-organized, accommodations were comfortable and well located, and the itinerary perfectly matched what we were looking for.

But what really made the difference was our guide, Baluku. He was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive to our needs. He understood exactly the type of experience we wanted and went above and beyond to make it special. His deep knowledge of wildlife and local culture made every moment meaningful.

We felt safe, relaxed, and genuinely connected to the places we visited. Thank you Kajie Safaris and Baluku for making this journey truly unforgettable. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a respectful and high-quality African safari.

Amazing experience! Worth every penny!
5/5

My husband and I did the 10 day safari for our honeymoon and it was an unforgettable experience. Uganda, itself, is absolutely gorgeous with so many diverse landscapes (a pleasant surprise), sweet and welcoming people, and, of course, awesome wildlife! The gorillas….AMAZING and our favorite experience on the trip. And we liked that it was saved for the end of the trip. It was a well thought out route because it started out with a bang and then got better and better, and the gorillas were like a grand finale and then we had a relaxing end. All of our accommodations were clean, with excellent service and staff and beautiful views. Also, the food was great at each accommodation. We didn’t expect that even with all of that…our guide/company we chose would be the best part of the trip. My husband and I actually made a mistake in scheduling and we landed a day later than we were supposed to and they accommodated us without issue and didn’t make us feel bad. They were super understanding. Martin, our guide and owner, made us feel comfortable right off the bat. He didn’t make us feel bad about asking so many questions about their culture and wildlife and gave us some good insight. We actually had some great conversations and the whole trip felt like a road trip with friends. It was so much better than I ever imagined this trip was going to be. 10/10 recommend!

An Epic Wildlife and Cultural Safari through Tanzania
5/5

From the moment we contacted Migration Venture Africa and Amos got in touch with us, the attention we received was excellent, and it helped us to book a 7-day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro.
The trip was a mix of game safari with cultural experiences, as we also spent time with the Hadzabe hunters and spent a night at a Maasai village. I want to highlight our guide Peter for being invaluable as a guide, driver, and charming companion. He was always attentive, spoke perfect English, and listening to him was a joy.
We had a perfect trip, and I have a lot of appreciation for the agency. I highly recommend Migration Venture Africa as the ideal safari agency for great safaris in Tanzania.

Excellent organizers of the most unforgetable safari
5/5

Using Safaribookings.com lead me to Pamoja and gave me the confidence to entrust them with crafting the most incredible safari in Kenya and Uganda. Putting your trust (and money) in a company half a world away takes a leap of faith but I felt comfortable with Pamoja based on the quick, well thought out responses from Regina and reading about the ethics of the company.
Working closely with Regina, she developed an itinerary that included a visit to the orphan elephants at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and mini safari in Nairobi National Park on my birthday. Then we were off to 5 of the most spectacular parks in Uganda. All of our transfers and intra-Africa flights were arranged perfectly.
Meeting our fabulous guide, Amos, at the Entebbe airport with the huge Land Cruiser that was to be our moving home for the next 10 days was a great start to our adventure. Pamoja is eco-friendly and provided reusable water bottles to be refilled daily from huge bottles in an attempt to cut down on the tremendous plastic consumption.
Regina recommended lodges at the different parks that were unique and a quiet refuge to come "home" to at night after a long day on bumpy, dusty roads. The freshly prepared meals were exquisite. It was truly an "Out of Africa" experience to be sleeping under mosquito netting every night, sometimes with a hot water bottle in the bed to warm it on a cool evening.
Amos gave us a briefing every evening so we would know what time we'd be starting the next day and what to expect. Everyday in Uganda was filled with incredible sights and sounds - from the fantastic animal sightings to the views of the everyday life of the Ugandan people. Thanks to Pamoja's extensive knowledge of Uganda, they included things I had never heard of such as the Ziwa Rhino ranch where we came face to face with southern white rhino and Experimental Lion and Leopard tracking at Queen Elizabeth NP for close up views of those big cats. We asked for some additional activities such as night drives with rangers and lastly, a horseback ride and nature hike at Lake Mburo which were all added to customize our itinerary.
The chimp and gorilla trekking were the highlights of the trip but have no doubt, it can be challenging. Both days were over 2 hours and 2+ miles in dense forests without trails and lots of mud. Amos kindly assisted us with putting on the much needed gaiters to protect our legs from the ants and stickers. Porters in Kibale are totally necessary and a godsend.
We can't thank Pamoja enough, specifically Regina and Amos, for this truly once in a life time trip. It sounds like a cliche but there is little chance of our seeing mountain gorillas or tree climbing lions again so these were once in a lifetime moments.

Colly was responsible, safe, personable and provided us a once in a lifetime experience.
5/5

Where do I begin? In May, I visited Uganda with a team of professionals. Part of our trip was a weekend safari to Murchison Falls National Park. Colly from Kajie Safaris went above and beyond to make this experience one we will never forget. His kindness and warm smile greeted us in our hotel. Immediately we could tell he was an experienced guide who was passionate about what he does. He has a true calling to safely transport people around his beautiful country and help them experience the natural beauty and culture that Uganda has to offer. He was well known and respected at our hotels, as well as within the park. He was in frequent contact with other guides to provide us the best possible experience while searching for wildlife within the park. I would without hesitation recommend Colly and Kajie Safaris to anyone traveling on safari in Uganda. I personally cannot wait to return with my family to this beautiful country, and look forward to connecting with Colly again!
