My husband and I just returned from an incredible 2-week safari with Zohar, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From the moment we landed in Arusha until our departure, every detail was perfectly orchestrated. Our guide, Goodluck/Nathan, was exceptional – his hard work, knowledge, and passion for wildlife made every game drive exciting and educational. He truly cares and tried so hard to make sure that we could have the best experience, and we really did – 90+ lions, 4 rhinos, 4 cheetahs, 4 leopards, so many elephants/giraffes, the big migration, and so much more than what we expected.
In addition, the entire Zohar team is amazing! The itinerary was perfectly planned and customized for us, covering the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, and Zanzibar. Lilian is the best consultant; her knowledge about the entire regions and accommodation options is extensive. Her ability to understand our needs through the planning process and provide good recommendations is outstanding. The rest of the team, Jack and Rachel, were so supportive throughout the trip, and when we had some unexpected delay for our departure flight, they stayed in touch to make sure we were ok until almost midnight.
The accommodations exceeded our expectations - from luxury lodges to intimate tented camps. Falling asleep to the sounds of the African bush and waking up to sunrise over the Serengeti was magical. The staff at each location was wonderful, and the food was delicious and plentiful.
Overall, this is one of the best trips we have had! We hope that we will return and get to work with the amazing Zohar team soon!

We did the three-day Masai Mara Safari with Jaime, our Spanish-speaking guide. Everything was great; we saw the Big Five, and Jaime was always super friendly and attentive. We also had to change a flight from Nairobi, and they helped us with the airline. Highly recommended!

A very dishonest company from our experience. You see all the high rated reviews here & on TripAdvisor, pay your money, then if you are lucky the 'game' starts 2 days before your safari. Having now delved into many bad reviews the script is exactly the same. Issues with account department, not my fault, I'm trying my best for you. Multiple apologies. Your midway lodge/camp won't be booked, park entrances won't be paid for, nor transport/driver fees or fuel, oh and if you manage to actually get all that sorted by them, who will 'gently' hint that you will need to pay more, or in the worse cases leave you stranded at a park entrance or in a park until you pay more (with empty fake promises of refunds for the additional costs due to their account department errors) the time in the parks is rushed, your transport won't be the luxury comfortable, air conditioned, WiFi enabled (despite stickers on the windows) charging point enabled, cold water providing vehicle you are promised. We enjoyed our safari that we actually managed to go on, but the stress prior and during as this company tries to con you ruined much of what our holiday was for. We believe we only got what we did because I made them aware I had contacted my bank and the fraud department asked me to keep them informed of what was happening. I strong recommend you do not use this company or their sister company Africa Kenya Safaris.

We booked the 5 day luxury safari package for our honeymoon, and from the very first time I contacted Meijo Safari they were incredibly helpful, responsive and professional.
The Safari was planned perfectly, communicated with everyone at Meijo was seamless and we could have asked for a better service.
Michael, our Safari guide, was absolutely fantastic! His knowledge of the wide life, geography and National Parks was second to none. He has a very good understanding of the parks, especially the Serengeti, and territories of the animals - meaning we saw all the big 5, some, many many times - it was wonderful.
Michael was super friendly, and made our trip seamless!
The hotels/lodges were also beautiful, with incredible views, extremely helpful and accommodating staff, and plenty of food and drink options.
I would highly recommend Meijo Safari to anyone looking to go on safari in Tanzania!

Great service and found all the rare Mara wildlife
Our two drivers were very good. They were very friendly and definitely experts in Maasai Mara. In one day we were able to see leopard, multiple elephants, a lion pride eating a buffalo, a cheetah eating a gazelle, and two lions mating. The drivers were great at communicating with other drivers and navigating to the best places in the park.
The only problems were with the back office and billing and communication. They should improve the billing and invoicing to make it much more clear how much is owed, what is included, and how to pay.

From beginning to end, Innocent was online and answered every time I asked about any little thing. He tried to come up with a trip that we would not forget and at the same time we did not have to worry about anything. In Dar es Salaam, the driver picked us up on the spot, took us to the airport. Innocent had already taken care of the flights. After arriving in Arusha, he was waiting for us there personally, only then did we pay for the trip and the 3-day safari began. With accommodation, breakfast and dinner, and lunch was always with us. We wanted to fly directly to Zanzibar after the safari and he arranged that for us and even took us to the hotel right there. All his people are 100% professionals. I recommend their safari experience to everyone I know and don't know. The driver was amazing right on the safari, his eyes did not miss a single animal. He always tried to make sure we had the best view.
