Amazing Experience!
We had a fantastic Safari with Top Selected Tours. Our guide Jackson was outstanding and very knowledgeable with an obvious passion for wildlife and the national parks in Tanzania. When planning our Safari him and his team were very responsive and helpful over email and Watsapp. He was very patient with all our ideas for the trip, changes I kept making, and his recommendations for camps to stay in turned out to be very good. I wanted to explore the western corridor, the great migration and big five action in central Serengeti, but didn’t want to always be around herds of other Jeeps. He ticked all the boxes. He genuinely cares about providing the best Safari experience possible. Also, his eye sight is outstanding.. he would see a leopard in a tree 100 metres away in low light - barely visible through binoculars, but he would catch it while driving and stop. Jackson was hard working, the jeep was comfortable, and he took care in making sure our bookings at each camp was as we asked. Highly recommend!

Best Adventure of my Life! Forever Thankful!
Visiting Africa, and specifically gorillas, was my top bucket list item of my life. Coming from the US and not having any idea where to start or what company to trust, I am beyond grateful that I found Likana Safaris. Bonny made planning the entire trip a breeze. I let him know all that I wanted to do and see, and the luxury accommodations required to bring my mom and aunt along- and he made it happen (AND MORE)- all within Uganda and within our budget.
From the very start, he was extremely communicative. He checked in often and made any and all adjustments necessary to create our own, personalized, itinerary. We did a "14-Day Uganda Luxury Safari and Gorilla Habituation Adventure". It took us all around the beautiful country and there was always something to do. We did every type of safari you can imagine- in the open top jeep, walking, boating, hiking...I didn't know there was so many ways! We added white water rafting, chimpanzee trekking and gorilla habituation for some adrenaline rushes. The lodges they chose for us were spectacular. The staff were all welcoming, the places were clean and the views were excellent. Any changes that were needed, the lodges and Likana were able to accommodate efficiently and professionally.
Our driver David, couldn't have been better! He was so extremely polite, attentive and safe. The traffic and roads over there are definitely not like anything we ever experienced before, and he was so confident and calm in all situations and we always felt safe. He always made sure we were taken care of and went above and beyond to listen to our preferences and go out of his way to surprise us with little extras. We talked about liking mangos, next thing you know he pulls over to buy some fresh mangos...talk about pineapples, BOOM, they appear! We joked that we are going to start talking about diamonds next... :) He went out of his way to meet with the manager of the Gorilla Habituation the day prior to let them know about physical limitations members of our group had, and they were able to adjust and personalize our group to meet our needs. We felt like every activity was extremely personalized and private, which was our preference. By the end of the journey, there were tears saying bye to David, as he becomes not only your guide but your friend.
Outside of the the incredible adventure, I had a desire to help in any way I could while I was in their country. I am a pediatric SLP and discovered a non-profit called "Hope Speaks" in Uganda that provides pediatric therapy services. Bonny made a relationship happen with them for me! His persistence in getting in touch with them to make this connection for me was inspiring. This is a company that cares deeply about their clients and their country. Prior to me arriving, he met with the founder of Hope Speaks in their office in Kampala to discuss their needs and facetimed me in from the USA to meet and create a plan. He arranged a conference room at the hotel I was staying at when I arrived and the Hope Speaks team all joined for a training. The Likana Safari team also all joined in this meeting and training. They provided a space, a screen, a photographer, refreshments/snacks..etc. It was absolutely incredible what he was able to put together just so I can contribute what I wanted to within my passion area. He didn't seek payment or reimbursement for any of the work that went into arranging all of that, and Likana developed a partnership with Hope Speaks to be able to spread their mission further. This collaboration speaks VOLUMES to who they are at the core as a company. I feel very blessed to have had them by my side in this adventure of a lifetime. I left feeling like I got everything I wanted and more out of that trip.

Bogotsi was Great! He was fun, personable, flexible and very knowledgeable.
We had an amazing time. We had a group of 20 and moonlight took care of all the details.
They picked us up at the border, helped us through customs, took us to our hotel and arranged all of the details for our safaris, both on land and on the Chobe river.
We lived out experience and would highly recommend moonlight to all of our friends.

Exceedingly excellent
We were referred to Wildmist Adventures by a friend and we met one Bruce. We had a religious tour to Soroti with a team of Bishops from United States of America. Bruce was fluent in English and was communicating to us all the time throught the 9 day tour finding out if we were comfortable and if we needed anything including stop overs along the way for refreshments and stretching. The service was very excedingly top notch and we felt that there was value for our money. They are very reliable and always on time and we enjoyed every bit of their service. I highly recommend them and if you use them you will also come to witness about their services.

An Incredible Safari Experience with a Knowledgeable Guide and Excellent Support Team
I recently returned from a solo private safari and had a truly memorable experience. From the abundant wildlife — including all of the Big Five — to the thoughtful logistics and expert guiding, the trip exceeded expectations in all the right ways.
My guide, Dan, was outstanding. His passion for the safari experience really came through every day. With his sharp instincts and deep knowledge of animal behavior, he consistently made great calls about when to linger at a sighting and when to move on — often leading to even better encounters just ahead. Thanks to Dan’s skill and intuition, I had some unforgettable moments in the bush that I’ll be talking about for a long time.
I also want to give a big thanks to Boniphace, who handled my bookings and logistics. He was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the planning process, making sure everything came together smoothly. Even when I had an issue with a flight that wasn’t booked through them, the office staff still stepped in to help resolve it — which I really appreciated.
While no trip is without the occasional hiccup, the level of care, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm from everyone I worked with made all the difference. This was a special journey, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this team to anyone looking for an exceptional safari experience.

Reliable service
The driver Bruce was very friendly, knowledgeable and understands the Eastern Region of Soroti so well. He was very supportive to make sure our visiting Bishops from America were comfortable throught the 9 day religious visit. He was very reliable and always on time for the programs, the vehicle was super clean with charging points for everyone of us. Our other team that is coming has to be handled by Wildmist adventures because they have proved to be super hands on when it comes to looking after their clients who will feel at home. I highly recommend them if you want value for your money and excellent services.
