Steve, the owner, listened carefully to our needs and designed an excellent tour package for us, including thrilling game drives and animal encounters in Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara. Beautiful and Memorable
We went on six days safari with Migration Venture Africa and loved it. There were many delightful points along the trip and it was with our guide Denis making the trip absolutely to die for. His knowledge about the animals, and passion for nature conservation even rubbed on us. He took us to many wildlife viewing sites where we had close encounters with them.
The safari vehicle was spacious, comfortable, between the 5 of us sharing the vehicle everyone had a window seat. When we came to a great site, Denis would pop up the roof and let us enjoy the sights.
The lodges that we stayed in during the safari were really nice and we enjoyed the experience a lot. Some were located right in the middle of the parks and others in great suburbia. I can say without a doubt that our hosts met and surpassed all the expectation we had pre-safari.

We had an unforgettable safari with Eliis (driver-guide) and Kitchuya (cook)!
We selected the 5-day, 4-night safari option in Tarangire (1) - Serengeti (2) - Ngorongoro (1).
Eliis accompanied us from day 2 (Serengeti) and was truly amazing! He passionately shared his knowledge of wildlife and the country in general. He is very open and answered any questions we had. The logistics were also impeccable, and if there were any issues, Ellis or Cub Expedition always provided a quick solution.
We had the pleasure of eating the dishes prepared by Kitchuya, which were delicious (we especially loved the soups, which we never left a drop in the pot!)
Besides the impeccable supervision of this trip and the personal encounters, we will never forget the landscapes and animals Eliis introduced us to; he knows all the best spots!
We opted for the two-night lodge option, including one at the Serengeti Heritage Lodge, which we recommend because the setting is incredible, as are the surroundings (buffalo and mongooses nearby).
In short, if you're still unsure which company to hire for your safari, don't hesitate any longer; you've found it!

Exceptionally well organized safari and excellent driver and tour guide
We started our safari in Dar es Salaam with Kapande who was our (very safe) driver and tour guide (exceptionally knowledgeable about the wildlife, various parks and nature). During our 12 day safari we visited Mikumi, Ruaha and Nyerere National park. The whole trip was organized to perfection by Salumu and we were extremely happy with the services from Uwanda tours.
During our game drives we saw so much wildlife (it took our breath away) and Kapande almost always knew where to find the animals 🤩 he gave us time to look at the animals and was never in a rush and whenever we had question he had the answer.
We highly recommend to visit Udzungwa Mountains National Park (about 1 hour from Mikumi National Park): it is a rain forest and we hiked to a stunning waterfall. Our guide Robert had a vast knowledge of the trees and plants that are growing in the rain forest and we learned a lot from him.
We also did a 1 day boat ride at Nyerere National Park and this was another highlight. During this day we saw dozens of of crocodiles and Hippos and so many different types of birds.

Very Responsive, Extremely Thorough, Exactly as Promised
We began planning our first trip approximately a year before travelling. We found Martin and Kingfisher Safaris online. From the first email communication, it was obvious Martin was extremely knowledgeable and responsive to our needs.
We provided a prize range we were comfortable with, he provided us with expectations within that range. He booked us a PERFECT itinerary that, very honestly exceeded all our expectations. The camps we stayed in (Desert & Delta) were incredible, modern, well appointed and luxurious. The staff were incredible. The food was amazing. Not a single complaint from my wife nor I.
I provided Martin with our inbound and outbound flights and all our transportation in between was perfect. We were met in Victoria Falls by a private driver who took us to the hotel without issue. Our subsequent travel to Kasane was similarly painless. Our flights between camps were effortless.
Throughout the planning stages I had more questions than I care to admit. Martin was prompt and INCREDIBLY detailed in his replies and I was able to satisfy all my questions and uncertainties with his help.
We intend to travel again to Africa in a few years and will, without a shadow of a doubt, be seeking Martin and Kingfisher Safaris as our planning service. I have nothing by positive things to say.

Expert Advice, Great Service.
My family of 4 just returned from an African vacation- 14 days plus travel, incl. 4 stops in 2 countries. The entire trip was planned and coordinated through Tailormade Africa. We are very satisfied customers- would recommend Tailormade without hesitation (and will use them again in the future!)
I worked with Rob Morley, one of the company's founders. He was a wealth of information and advice and I never felt like he was pushing me in one direction or another, or trying to upsell. He likely works with many families who want a "sign here" easy experience, but that's not me. I'm a DIY planner (overthinker?) by nature but realized I'd met my match with Africa, and needed professional assistance. So I came to the conversation with some research and ideas, which Rob helped me mold into an optimal itinerary. He was always patient and thorough in all conversations and responsive via whatsapp and email. The trip came in exactly at budget and went smoothly. It was a complicated itinerary with lots of transfers, car services, inter-Africa flights, etc. It provided amazing peace of mind to know Rob and his team had coordinated everything so well- I never had a worry and there wasn't a single hitch in the logistics.
More importantly, the actual recommendations he provided were fantastic. My family loved every stop. We stayed at one lodge I was excited to try, and he vetted and approved. The other 3 lodgings were not on my radar at all and we did solely on his advice. I felt like we got an expertly thought-through and curated itinerary. Rob provided on the ground support through whatsapp- he and his colleagues followed along our every stop (I believe they were in communication behind the scenes much of the time- a process invisible to us but likely caused the smooth sailing of our trip).
In summary: mission accomplished- a special family vacation that was an amazing success! In fact, it was so good that we've stopped calling it our "once in a lifetime" splurge and instead are already dreaming how and when to get back....
