Unforgettable Tanzania Safari: Exceptional Service, Stellar Guide, and Pure Magic with Safari Soles!
5/5

Safari Soles was the company that responded the fastest after I cast my wide net of inquiries. Their customer service is excellent—they answered all my silly questions without hesitation.
They were also flexible, making adjustments based on my requests. The proposal they sent was beautifully designed, easy to read, and crystal clear!
The pricing was incredibly reasonable. I felt like the service, accommodations, food, and guide quality we received were all top-notch—far exceeding our expectations!
They’re totally trustworthy, and I’ll definitely recommend them to friends!
This trip was lucky enough to pair us with an outstanding Tanzanian guide named Mandela. He’s a calm, detail-oriented professional who not only has deep knowledge of wildlife and can accurately identify animals, but also understands their behaviors, migration patterns, and habitats inside out. This made it so easy for us to appreciate Tanzania’s diverse wildlife, especially during the animal migration tracking—his routes and standards were spot-on. On top of that, Mandela has great emergency handling skills, drives safely and steadily, and is highly skilled at operating the vehicle, creating a secure and comfortable safari environment where guest safety always comes first. This journey left us feeling incredibly joyful and enriched!
A huge thank you to Safari Soles for curating such a seamless and magical adventure—we couldn’t have asked for more. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone dreaming of exploring Tanzania’s wild wonders; they’re the perfect partner for an epic safari!

5/5

The itinerary is well arranged, the hotel is comfortable, the tour guide is interesting, it is a good travel experience, especially the tour guide Kikitu, the whole body is full of energy, I think the tourism service industry needs such a talent, he is energetic every day, tries to meet our needs, provides a strong emotional value, so must praise him.

Smart, kind and just Phenomenal tour guide!
5/5

This was our honeymoon trip and it was our first time traveling in Africa. We loved how kind the staff was and we enjoyed staying at different accomodations they provided.

Most of all, our tour guide Careem was always there to take care of the problems and explain many things about animals and African cultures to us. Love spending time with him. Thank you!

5/5

The communication was excellent – quick responses and clear answers to all my questions, including detailed information about the tour. The transfer was very well organized, and the food included in the tour was delicious. I felt well taken care of, as all my requests were fulfilled and the staff were very kind and attentive.
I booked a 3-day Chobe safari tour where the guides really tried to show us everything – an experience not to forget. Overall, a great experience!

Steve Made Our Tanzanian Journey Truly Extraordinary
5/5

Our safari in Tanzania was truly unforgettable, and the greatest reason for that is Steve. He was not only our guide, but very quickly became a genuine friend. Steve is a man of great knowledge and depth—well-read, thoughtful, and often sharing with us reflections that felt almost philosophical. Every day, he found a way to inspire us, reminding us not only to look at the beauty of nature but also to reflect on life itself.
What we admired most was the balance he created: giving us space to enjoy the journey in our own way, while at the same time making us feel completely safe, cared for, and supported. He worked tirelessly to make sure we saw exactly what we hoped to see—and more. Thanks to him, we witnessed the Great Migration multiple times, including the breathtaking river crossings that left us speechless.
Even when challenges arose, such as car troubles on the road, Steve remained calm and resourceful, solving everything with composure and skill. We joked that without him, we might not have made it out alive—but the truth is, his professionalism and dedication gave us absolute peace of mind at every moment.
This journey gave us countless unforgettable memories: the wildlife, the landscapes, the laughs, the sunsets—but above all, it gave us the gift of Steve’s company. He is someone of true quality, with warmth, intelligence, and integrity, and we are so grateful to have met him.
We sincerely hope to stay in touch and one day have the chance to welcome Steve and his family in Taiwan. Thank you, Steve, for making our Tanzanian adventure one of the most meaningful and memorable experiences of our lives.

WOW!!
5/5

We could not have imagined a more wonderful two weeks in Northern Botswana than the safari we experienced with Lucas Tshupo and his team.
From meeting us at the airstrip in Xakanaxa until we parted company after our final breakfast in Victoria Falls, Lucas was with us, and with his team of Musa, Two Metres and Madu, looked after us every minute.
Lucas is a dedicated naturalist who is also an amazing guide and photographer. His passion for the wildlife, people and landscapes of Botswana was evident in every aspect of the safari. The number and diversity of animals and birds that we saw was astonishing and made even more memorable through the detail of background and behaviour that Lucas shared with us. We could not have had a better guide.
His team were wonderful, too. Musa, Two Metres and Madu, who moved our camp so efficiently every three days, made our camping experience so enjoyable: delicious food, the cheerful wakeup call, warm water in the morning and showers in the evening, comfortable beds, beautifully laid tables, our every need anticipated. Add to that the pre-dinner drinks round the campfire with the calls of the bush around us, and then in the morning the night sounds giving way to the birds...
Two excellent boat trips gave us a different view of the animals and the landscape, one in a Moroko in Kwai and one in a motorboat on the Chobe River. The last two days were spent in Victoria Falls in a very comfortable lodge, allowing us to visit the spectacular falls with Lucas.
We will never forget this experience - our first in Africa. Pictures come into the mind: of elephants playing in water, of a leopard in a tree, of lion cubs drinking from a waterhole, of wild dogs rolling in cooling mud, of seven carmine bee-eaters on a branch. And so many other animals and birds that a mere list of everything we saw would be inadequate. They were all around us. The most frequently used expression every day was 'Wow'...
We were so sorry to say goodbye to it all, and especially to Lucas and his team, who gave us this experience of a lifetime. We cannot thank them enough.

One of the best
5/5

This is a wonderful chance to see Namibia and Botswana, and although some of the journeys were long we got great insights into the very different landscapes from the arid southern areas to coast and on to the wetter north and the Falls. The wildlife viewing was exceptional – I did not expect to see both black and white Rhinos – bird life abundant, in fact everything you could hope to see. The excursions worked out well, and the couple of optional ones were well worth it.
Generally the lodges were extremely good, as was the food, but when staying inside Etosha there is a compromise, these are state run and are not up to the standard we were used to, but then it was worth it to get a head start.
Guides Colin and Edwin were superb, calm, thoughtful, helpful and clear with information and good fun to be with, they became part of our very happy group. I hope they felt the same about us.
The group of twelve was well balanced and we got on very well, I feel we all made friends very quickly and everyone pitched in.
It's not a luxury trip – some of the roads are rough – but I would happily recommend this trip to anyone who wants to explore and learn.
I would happily use Sunway again.
