Edward was patient and highly knowledgeable about the environment and wildlife
As someone who had never booked a trip through a tour operator before, I was hesitant—especially given how expensive these trips can be. But we were so fortunate to find such a great company. The booking process was smooth and easy, and Silas was incredibly knowledgeable, helping us organize the trip efficiently and save valuable time. Our guide Edward was patient, friendly, and deeply knowledgeable about the wildlife and environment. We always felt safe, and he made each moment in Tanzania engaging and memorable. We did a 5-day safari, and now my kids can’t stop telling everyone about the experience. The “pole pole” (slowly, slowly) pace was perfect for our family. We’re already planning to come back to visit the Maasai Mara and hope this same team can help us plan that trip in the near future.

Extraordinary Africa made our dream safari trip so personal and unforgettable!
Our trip with Extraordinary Africa was unforgettable. From the moment we started planning, I felt completely taken care of. Alex catered a perfect and personal itinerary for us based on our top bucket list locations, budget, and time-frame. The itinerary of Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, and Masai Mara was planned with so much care and attention to detail. I was so impressed with Alex's knowledge of the continent and each location we visited. My biggest goal of the trip was to see the wildebeest migration, and I assumed that meant I'd need to go to Masai Mara in August (when the river crossings happen). Alex assured me that going to Serengeti in June gave me just as good a chance to see it, at a much lower price and with way less crowds, and I'm glad we followed her advice because we got to experience thousands of wildebeests all to ourselves.
Each accommodation she suggested was also perfect. Lion's Paw in Ngorongoro was as close to the crater as possible, so we were one of the first cars there in the morning! Lahia Tented Lodge was in western Serengeti, where the migration was at that time of year.
Every destination felt perfectly timed and balanced; every new stop on our trip felt like the perfect time to go there and the transitions between them were smooth and stress-free. All the provided prep materials we received ahead of time made a big trip like this feel unintimidating. I felt so confident and excited going into it, and once we were there, I always felt safe and supported.
If you’re looking for a trip that’s not only beautifully curated but also deeply personal, I can’t recommend Extraordinary Africa enough. It lives up to its name in every way.

Dosasha is the best tour agent that I had ever dealt with
Dosasha is the best tour agent that I had ever dealt with, considering that I have traveled to more than twenty countries and regions.
The journey started when I asked for a quote. Michael, from Dosasha, was so patient and professional. He gave me an immediate response, answered my tons of questions and addressed all my concerns (since previously I had some unpleasant experience with some other tour operators in other countries, I might be over cautious sometimes). After some careful consideration and back and forth conversation I chose 12 days budget group Safari in both Kenya and Tanzania for my twelve-year-old son and myself. One small issue: the deposit payment processing was a bit challenging, but we finally resolved it.
To be honest, I was quite nervous when the date of our trip was approaching because it was the first time for me to visit Africa. Once the trip started, all my concerns have gone. We were picked up from Nairobi Airport on time, and then Michael welcomed us in Dosasha's office and gave us a brief. He was as nice and patient as I expected.
After paying the balance, we were placed in James' jeep with a safari group of 6 travelers in total in Kenya (including a couple from Spain and another couple originally from US and currently working in UK), which I really appreciated because with the group we could pay affordable price. It also turns out that some of our group members got best eyesight and could always spot animals with their naked eyes. Plus, our driver James was nice and well experienced and knew where to go to find all the animals. Each day our itinerary was as planned, but somehow always with some highlights which the driver and our group members created together, except that the accommodations were changed in one or two days but still met or exceeded my expectations.
The Safari in Tanzania was a bit different as we were placed with different groups of travelers and different drivers in different days, but the last four days we were with the same group of travelers, driver and chef.
Yes, in Tanzania we got chefs prepare our food each day. Although some of Tanzanian campsites might not have the same ideal conditions as Kenya's campsites have had, the staff I met there were all friendly and helpful, creating magic with limited resources. My son forgot his water bottle in one jeep, and the driver found the bottle next day and sent it to another driver to give it back to us in the next national park we visited. We even had the most delicious dessert in the middle of Serengeti National Park. That was beyond my expectation.
We saw everything we expected to see, all the animals on the flyer, the birds, the views, and the sceneries as beautiful as post cards, and there was something unexpected but we were lucky enough to capture, for example, two black Mambas crawling on the ground, a few tree climbing lions, six cute lion cubs with their moms, and even lion hunting scenes in two occasions, and more.
What's more impressing was that Michael kept in touch with me via WhatsApp every single day during the whole safari to ensure everything would run smoothly. Any issue happened, he was always there and resolved it in no time. I greatly appreciated it.
I think you will definitely have a good time if you choose Dosasha like we did. It will be once-in-a-lifetime experience you will never ever forget.

Polished performance
Met at Zanzibar airport and dropped off same airport 12 days latter. The service, people, accommodation and experience was 5 star. Booked direct. Communication from owner Paul was excellent. Don't look any further

The nature and wildlife is fantastic and so is the climate. There is so much to experience!
To go on a Safari with a operator was a fantastic experience and so worth it. We chosed 4 days with budget camp and are so satisfied. It was well organized and we met people from all over the world. A knowledgeable guide drived the jeep through these three fantastic national parks and let us see many different animals. There is so whole experience was beyond expectations.

Breathtaking
Tanzania is simply breathtaking country. It has nature beauty with all the wild life animals you can imagine. It also has splendid beaches of Zanzibar. But above all it’s the hospitality of its people which truly stands out.
