Experienced guides, friendly service - great teamwork
My experience says that half of the credit for a good safari goes to the guide, and in this regard, Africa Kenya Safaris is absolutely the best. Each of their guides, such as George, Michael, or James Mwangi, is experienced, patient, and very knowledgeable about the animal world. They're not just a guide, they're a storyteller. Every moment was vivid in its description. Their teamwork is what makes Safari memorable.

Pembury Tours and Kerry Ririe exceeded expectations!
From the moment we engaged Kerry, she grasped our desire to take 14 family members to South Africa to experience the local sights but more importantly to visit game camps to see all the animals the region has to offer. The planning was easy in that she communicated with us constantly through emails and Zoom calls to achieve a trip plan that turned out to be second to none.
We had 4 families to plan for with members from 6 to 69. This was not an easy task as we stayed in 5 locations. Moving us from place to place turned out to be seamless and our accommodations were first rate. The game camps she chose for us were perfect and our trips into the bush to see the animals in the wild were a dream come true for everyone.
In closing, on any trip you expect hiccups. However, that never occurred much to our amazement. Had we planned this ourselves, there would have been guaranteed hiccups because so much of what Kerry did for us we would never have thought about doing for ourselves. Because of that our trip exceeded 5 stars!

Professional, knowledgeable and helpful guide.
We were well received at the airport. The land cruiser was modern and comfy. The staff was very friendly, and we got to see the big five at Maasai Mara. The tour consultant (Angela) was very helpful from the time we asked for the itinerary to our last day, she made our stay very comfortable and was there in communication every step of the way. I'd highly recommend going to
Kenyan safari with Edwin Safaris.

A very special experience thanks to Joe
We’ve just returned from the most unforgettable safari, and we are still buzzing with excitement! From start to finish, everything was beyond our expectations — and a huge part of what made it so special was our incredible guide, Joe.
Joe was, without a doubt, the heart of our experience. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, the land, and the rhythm of the bush was extraordinary. He seemed to know exactly where to go and when — we saw everything we had hoped for, and more! Lions, elephants, leopards, giraffes… every game drive felt like a dream come true. Joe was not only informative but also had such a calming presence that instantly made us feel safe, welcome, and at home.
Traveling with our six-year-old daughter could have been tricky, but Joe was endlessly patient and kind. He took the time to explain things in a way she could understand, answered all her many questions with a smile, and made her feel like a real junior ranger. It truly made the trip all the more special for us as a family.
The camp itself was a perfect balance of comfort and connection to nature. The tents were cozy and well-equipped. The entire staff was phenomenal — warm, friendly, and attentive. What touched us most was how they included our daughter in little tasks around camp, which she absolutely loved. She still talks about helping “the grown-ups” and can’t wait to come back!
This wasn’t just a holiday — it was a magical experience we’ll never forget. And we know for sure it wouldn’t have been the same without Joe. He is truly the best guide we could have asked for, and we feel so lucky to have had him lead our journey.
Highly, highly recommend — five stars aren’t enough!

If you want a high quality safari, Savannah Sound Safaris is highly recommended.
Great Communication, Professional Services and Friendliness. Patricia really helped us plan a great safari. From the start, she was always reachable, friendly and welcoming. Always answered my questions quickly and provided great tips on how to prepare for Kenya.
Our drive Adam was very professional, funny and knew how to get around everywhere without a GPS. :) He definitely knew where to go, and really enjoyed entertaining us. We really had a great time, and truly recommend.

Incredible experience with the best guide ever!
We went to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and last but not least the Ngongorogoro crater. The build up of this itinerary was perfect. We kept adding new animals to the list and every new park we saw more of the animals we had already seen or got a better view.
We also really enjoyed most of our accomodations had good food and the car was very comfortable with a fridge and chargers!
We had an incredible experience with our guide Amos. He was the biggest reason we got to see the big 5 as well as many cheeta's, hippo's, crocs and the great migration! When he realized we also liked birds he got even more passionate and showed us so many incredible species.
Thanks Amos, for making this a dream holiday in every way.

Incredible, unique and authentic experience
The safari was magical. We left Kigali (me, Anna the organizer and Gerrar the guide) at 4:30 a.m. heading to Akagera Park. We arrived at 7 a.m. and immediately started the safari. I was lucky enough to see the Big 5 and other animals up close thanks to the open roof allowing you to stand up in the car. Then, we had a picnic at a "rest area" in the heart of the park. We finished around 2 p.m. after admiring many animals. We arrived in Kigali at sunset. An excellent day that I will remember for a long time!

Israel was very kind and welcoming. We really appreciate his work and his kind and courteous nature!
We had a wonderful trip to Serengeti and Ngorongoro! It was worth every penny and the price was really fair for what we got. We learned a lot about Tanzanias wildlife, nature and culture and saw all the big 5 up close! Everything was well organized and communicated and it felt just like a trip with a good friend :)

Overpromise, underdeliver...
I recently completed a safari with Serengeti Landmark and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations.
We booked the trip 4–5 months in advance after being advised by Raymond (the manager) that accommodation, particularly luxury tents, tends to fill up during peak season. However, on the night we arrived in Serengeti National Park, we were unexpectedly taken to a basic bush campsite rather than the tented camp listed in our itinerary. Only after raising the issue was it clarified that we were meant to stay at Engrigerata Camp. This seemed to come as a surprise to our guide, who appeared visibly frustrated and upset by the situation. We were asked to "wait" without much communication, and were eventually told to get back into the vehicle and driven to the correct site. Although we did end up at the right camp, the experience left us feeling confused and unsettled.
There were also delays entering Serengeti National Park. On the first day, we waited for about an hour outside the park gate because the entry payment hadn’t been processed. The following day, we faced another delay due to an additional concession fee for the camp that also needed to be settled on the spot.
We also noticed recurring inconsistencies in timing. On multiple occasions, the guide would mention a 20-minute break, only to return after nearly an hour. While sometimes said in jest (“African time”), this created planning issues and added to our overall frustration.
Our itinerary included an Arusha city tour on the first day, but this appeared to be forgotten until I reminded Raymond. The tour was eventually arranged, but toward the end, we felt pressured to purchase artwork from the guide, who declined a tip and instead insisted on us buying a painting worth around $20. Later that evening, Raymond joined us for dinner at his own suggestion, mentioning it was his birthday. We wouldn’t normally mind, but in hindsight—given the service issues and delays—it felt a bit awkward when he added his takeaway pizza to our bill.
There were also a few other inconsistencies between what was communicated beforehand and what was delivered, though too many to list in detail here.
In summary, while Raymond was responsive and professional in the planning stages—which initially gave us confidence—the execution of the trip fell short. A safari in Tanzania is a significant financial and emotional investment for many travelers, often a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I believe more attention to detail and clearer communication would have made a big difference.

Outstanding customer service and guide = outstanding safari
Everything about this experience was amazing. Gift was incredibly helpful in working out plans and details like my husband’s CPAP. Florian, our guide, was so knowledgeable and helpful and knew how to find wildlife, position us for best photos, answer endless questions, and tailor Safari to our interested which included birds and lizards and plants in addition to major fauna. The lodgings were all amazing and such good food. The Serengeti safari camp was our favorite. Such warm welcoming people and the location was beyond belief. Meru Slopes did an amazing job from start to finish and I highly recommend them.
