Review about Samburu National Reserve by NSStone
It was incredibly hot and dry when I visited, but what I saw made up for the weather. We spotted a leopard in tree and saw its mother bring back a kill. I stayed a Elephant Bedroom camp - simply stunning accommodation, great views and the odd elephant wandering through camp. Listening to lions at night right by camp was awesome.

A beautiful area but harder to spot some wildlife as the jungle is dense

Amazing abundance of animals, including both black and white rhinos, to see in Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Kenya had had quite a bit of unseasonal rain when I visited Kenya so I was lucky enough to experience Ol Pejeta without a lot of dust flying around. The area was quite green and lush with stunning views of Mt Kenya. Great open vistas with the mountain as a backdrop. I expected/hoped to see a few rhinos but did not imagine to see the vast numbers of both black and white rhinos that we did see. Of course I would love to see that there are far more in numbers surviving... We saw rhinos bathing in mud, plenty of babies. Lots and lots of zebra put on a show and didn't run from the vehicle. A fantastic pride of lions with various aged Cubs, giraffes, Impala, jackals, warthog, etc... I stayed at Rhino Watch and cannot recommend it highly enough - beautiful gardens, views, accommodation, food and people! I travelled with a group of fellow photographers with Chris Bray Safaris. Their knowledge and experience amazed me. I could not have asked for anything more from our brilliant driver guides, Musa and John. Visiting Kenya has been a highlight of my life and I will definitely be going back.

I went for the wildlife and birds and that's what I saw! Such amazing colours in the bird life. The landscape is beautiful and changes so much - from dry and dusty, to rainforests and lakes..

Stunning Sossusvlei experience!
It was an amazing experience. The 3 day Sossusvlei tour with Wild Dog Safaris was an unforgettable and amazing experience. It started with a great service, a very friendly, knowledgeable guide Marcus who is also very good at spotting game and other interesting animals and things on the road and a very safe and a very good driver. He is very flexible and accommodating.. the Sossus dune lodge they booked us with is inside the park and great service and food.
And to top it all, the itinerary was just perfect. We were on top of the Dunes at sunrise and able to sea the beauty of the deadvlei with and without the sun.. simply stunning!

The most amazing time with the most incredible, likeable, helpful and interesting guide ever!
Everything about the communication, service and the safari itself was perfect - definetively living up to expectations! I am very glad that I choose to do the safari in the middle of my stay at Ukutula, as it served as both an great adventure and a nice break from all the other interesting stuff that went on with the lions. I will definetively do something similar at some time, and I would not hesitate a second to choose Jewel of Africa Safaris.

Perfect organisation. Awesome Maasai guide and driver
Even though expectations were really high, after having had a great communication via email and phone with Tropical Trails (Eliaika was super helpful), our guide and driver, Ole the Maasai, was a superb positive surprise! He knew every place, every plant and animal, and always tried to please us, take us out of the touristic path and show us the local culture. Thx so much for everything!

Outstanding Trip that included the Big 6, Golf and meeting many South Africans
We planned our entire visit to South Africa with Kobus deJonge, Jewel of Africa. Our trip included not only driving through Kruger national park and all around the country of South Africa including Easter dinner with the local farm families, dinner and wine sharing with a restaurant owner in a converted government building and golf at some of the most beautiful golf courses in the world (Leopard Creek), Kobus also took our input and added other spontaneous adventures. Kobus provided outstanding service, great knowledge of the country and the wild life and many interesting stories about his country. The trip exceeded any expectation we had and we could not have had a better time, we were there for three weeks. When we departed South Africa and Kobus we felt like we were leaving family and we still keep in touch with Kobus from our home in the USA.
