Our safari was an incredible blend of thrilling wildlife encounters, comfortable accommodations, and the guiding expertise that transforms a good trip into an absolutely phenomenal one.
Seamless Planning and Professional Crew:
The communication from Kabarole Tours was exceptional right from our initial inquiry. Every question was answered promptly and thoroughly, making the planning process completely stress-free. This professionalism extended to the entire crew. Their service was impeccable, ensuring every transfer was on time, and every logistical detail was handled with precision. This reliability allowed us to fully relax and immerse ourselves in the beauty of Uganda, knowing we were in incredibly capable hands. Considering the comprehensive nature of the trip and the quality of experience, the value for money was outstanding. It was an investment in unforgettable memories.
Accommodations: Comfort Amidst the Wild:
The accommodations selected by Kabarole Tours were perfectly chosen to complement our safari experience. After exhilarating days of game drives, returning to comfortable, well-appointed lodges was a true luxury. Each place offered a peaceful retreat, often with stunning views, allowing us to recharge and reflect on the day's incredible sightings. The blend of comfort and proximity to nature was exactly what we needed.
Wildlife Galore: A Spectacle of Nature:
And what a spectacle it was! The tour itself was a non-stop parade of Uganda's magnificent wildlife. We were utterly awestruck by the sheer volume and diversity of animals we encountered. The highlight for many was undoubtedly seeing lions in their natural habitat – a powerful and humbling experience. And in a truly rare and exhilarating moment, we were lucky enough to spot tigers! This was an incredible surprise and a testament to the rich biodiversity of the region. Beyond the big cats, we witnessed formidable crocodiles basking by the water's edge, caught a thrilling glimpse of a elusive leopard, and were constantly surrounded by tens of elephants, their majestic presence a constant reminder of the wild. Every game drive was packed with thrilling discoveries, expertly guided to ensure we maximized our viewing opportunities.
Percy: The Guiding Genius:
A special mention, indeed, must go to our main guide, Percy. He wasn't just a driver; he was a master of his craft, a true expert in the field. His fantastic driving skills navigated challenging terrain with ease and confidence, always ensuring our safety and comfort. But it was his tracking ability that truly shone. Percy had an uncanny knack for spotting animals that others would miss, often pointing out subtle clues that led to incredible sightings. His deep knowledge of the animals, their behaviors, and their habitats enriched every encounter, providing fascinating insights that elevated the entire experience. Percy's passion was infectious, and he truly went above and beyond to make sure our safari dreams came true.
Even now, the memory of those incredible days lingers, and I find myself reaching for honey to sweeten my coffee, a small, delightful reminder of the incredible experiences and the sweet success of our journey with Kabarole Tours and Safaris. For anyone dreaming of a Ugandan safari, look no further – this team delivers an experience that will stay with you long after you've returned home.

Leroy (our guide) in Kenya was incredible!
We did a tour through Kenya with Super Eagles and had Leroy as our guide - he was incredible! We could not recommend him enough. He was a fast driver, knew where to go to be able to see the animals we wanted in the parks, but was also very informative about the animals and areas. We would highly recommend using Super Eagles for a Kenya tour.

Gosheni's Tanzania Odyssey Safari is amazing!
We booked a Safari that included Tarangire, Ngorongoro crater and the Serengeti. The variety and volume of wildlife we saw was amazing. Our guide Zadock was very informative about all of the animals as well as the Tanzanian and Maasai culture. He ensured we saw all the wildlife and found the best places for photos. We saw 3 Wildebeast river crossings in the northern Serengeti. I would recommend Gosheni and Zadock for your Safari adventure in Tanzania.

Great Tour! Mix of tourist spots and local spots.
Tinyiko was a great tour guide who was always energetic and full of life.
He showed me the historical part and also the local part of South Africa which was really great.
Ate lunch (cowhead) at a very local place in Soweto and it was great to mingle with the locals.
That was probably one of the most memorable part of my travel to South Afric.
Also Tinyuko was flexible and customised some of the places we want.
I would definitely reccomend this tour and if your lucky might get Tinyiko.

Unforgettable Adventure in Tanzania's Northern Circuit
Safari-ing with Amshar was a fantastic experience. From the outset, the Amshar representatives were easy to work with and crafted a safari that accommodated our schedule. Even as we experienced a transportation hiccup en route to Arusha, they were extraordinarily flexible in adjusting the schedule so that the safari could proceed as planned. Once, on our way, Edward, our guide, took us on an unforgettable Northern Tanzanian adventure. We learned so much from him about the area's wildlife, but also about Tanzania itself--its political economy, culture(s), food, challenges, and more. We were fortunate to have Edward as our guide, as he was not only an expert driver and navigator of Tanzania's national parks but also exuded a warm energy throughout the entire tour. We will undoubtedly be using Amshar again for our next East African Adventure.

staff who followed us step by step with patience and dedication
We took a 4-day tour with Vision Safari & Tour, departing and returning to Zanzibar. The trip was carefully and meticulously organized, from hotel pickup in Zanzibar to our return. The tour, as requested, included sleeping in the same place and taking a different safari each day, about an hour or two's drive from the base. We stayed in a lodge, enjoying its simplicity and pace, sharing the outdoor spaces with rabbits, goats, and small, discreet monkeys. The agency provided constant support and assistance. As soon as we arrived from Zanzibar, we went to Lake Manyara, where we saw, in excellent company, many elephants, giraffes, zebras, and, from afar, two sleeping lionesses. The following day, we went to Tarangire National Park. We also saw many animals, but it was very crowded, which made the tour less enjoyable. However, the place is truly unique, and the landscapes around the river are so impressive that we were satisfied nonetheless. On the third day, we visited the Ngorongoro Crater, whose magnificence and boundless spaces left us breathless. Here, you can breathe in the freedom; you can see the animals from afar, except for the zebras, but perhaps that's precisely the beauty: seeing herds of buffalo, zebras, and gazelles move across these infinite spaces. We also saw a hyena hunting, warthogs, wildebeest, antelopes, and birds perching above the hippos and a serval. The company was excellent, and we had a great time. On the last day, we had a truly unique and profound experience, choosing to visit the Lake Eyasi area, departing at 5 a.m. We had the opportunity to meet and partially participate in the daily lives of two ancient and authentic tribes: the Hadzabe and the Datoga: the former dedicated to hunting with bows and arrows, the latter to working with recycled metals, accompanied by a guide who translated their particular language. We would like to thank, in addition to Gudilah and her staff who followed us step by step with patience and dedication, our guides: the very friendly Ephelress, Nestor, with his sharp eyesight and truly very competent and the young Rama, patient, kind and attentive.

Best 8-day safari of our life.
From the outset, Seven Wonders Safaris offers us an extraordinary journey. Starting the journey from Arusha to the elephant kingdom of Tarangire, then spending time in the bird fair at Lake Manyara, was a unique experience. But the main attraction was the Grumeti River. Sitting there and watching the huge crocodile hunt is truly a thrilling experience. Finally, I went to the Ngorongoro Crater and got lost in the sanctuary of all kinds of animals. Accommodation, service, and guidance were all excellent.

Disappointing and a bit sketchy
Nyala Mobile Safaris is a relatively new business. Our family of 3 adults booked a 5-day budget mobile safari based on a good price for the comfort level and a handful of excellent reviews. Our overall experience was disappointing, including poor communication throughout and some sketchy aspects. We recommend using a more proven operator; we certainly would in the future. For details read on.
The good: The setup of the camps was as comfortable as advertised, with spacious tents, small cots, a portable bathroom and shower, and other amenities. The food was certainly adequate under the circumstances. The vehicle had some issues but none untoward given the exceptionally bad roads it navigates day in and day out. As advertised, there was plenty of free alcohol, which was useful in taking the edge off the steady stream of difficulties.
The disappointing: Our crew consisted of company-owner Mucheka who was in charge of camping, meals, and other logistics; a certified guide who was in charge of the safari aspects; and a "helper boy." Unfortunately the guide was surprisingly incompetent. Over the entire 5-day safari he found literally zero animals we hadn't spotted on our own, and on multiple occasions he got lost when we were on a game drive without Macheka. It's impossible to know how much more wildlife we would have seen if our guide had participated in the spotting (and how much less time spent driving aimlessly if he knew the way), but wildlife spotting has certainly been the norm for guides during the handful of other safaris we've been on.
The sketchy: We paid for a private safari months in advance and confirmed it with Mucheka several times, yet when we arrived at the airport we were told that "two friends" -- a last-minute booking -- would be joining us for the first half of our trip and were waiting in the safari vehicle. We put our foot down and they did find a second vehicle, driver, and dining table, but for the first 2+ days Macheka was juggling two parallel safaris, presumably to the detriment of both. At the other end, when our post-safari transfer, included in the price, dropped us off, we were told Macheka hadn't paid for it and we needed to fork over $105. The money was recovered in the end but not without effort. Overall, communication with Macheka was challenging and a bit slippery from start to finish; it should have been a warning sign.
Again, we would not use Nyala Mobile Safaris again ourselves and unfortunately cannot recommend the company to others.

The Most Unforgettable 10 Days in Tanzania – With Tanzania Safari Deluxe Tours
Our 10-day adventure with Tanzania Safari Deluxe Tours was truly the trip of a lifetime. From the moment we landed, everything was perfectly organized—smooth, professional, and deeply meaningful. This local company is not only trustworthy and experienced, but they also operate with heart and purpose.
Our journey took us through the stunning landscapes of Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater (2 days), and the endless plains of Serengeti (4 days). Every day brought new wonders, and our incredible guide Joseph made the experience even more special. He was not only extremely knowledgeable and helpful but also warm and friendly, making us feel completely at home.
We stayed in luxury accommodations—Gran Melia, Maramboi Lodge, Four Seasons Serengeti, and Acacia Lodge—which provided comfort, breathtaking views, and unforgettable memories.
One of the most inspiring parts of our trip was the time we spent in conversation with the owner, Alex. He passionately shared how the company gives back to local communities and how travelers can contribute too. Thanks to him, we had the chance to visit a local tribe in Moshi, where we supported an incredible women’s empowerment project. We donated 3 sewing machines and helped fund the education of 4 girls, supporting their dreams of going to college and making a difference in their communities.
This experience was more than a safari—it was a connection to the land, the wildlife, and the people of Tanzania.
If you’re looking for an authentic, impactful, and expertly organized safari, we 100% recommend Tanzania Safari Deluxe Tours. Support local, travel with purpose, and create memories that last a lifetime.
