Stunning wildebeast migration
Overall rating
5/5

During the big migration the Masai Mara turns into a full-blown spectacle: Virtually endless herds of wildebeast make their way to or from the Serengeti. Along with dramatic crossings of the Mara river. Think crocs...

We stayed at Little Governor's Camp. Their 4-star tents are amazing! They left me wondering how 5-star tents would look like... (which we recently tested in Botswana...)

Top Notch Service in Vic Falls
5/5

We had Yvonne Jandles help with our trip to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and she was an absolute pleasure to have as our guide. Yvonne collected us from the airport in Kasane, Botswana and took us through customs and immigration in both Botswana and Zimbabwe which was of great help in navigating their systems. She is incredibly knowledgeable about both countries and had tips about what to see and do and where to go in Vic Falls. She also drove us around and organized a personal tour of the Falls and an evening cruise on the Zambezi River for us. We highly recommend Yvonne for her professionalism and personal touch.

My trip
5/5

The parks are quiet and the guides excellent. We particularly enjoyed the adventure camp experience and will definitely do this again. It was also the first time we have flown between parks, it made the trip more expensive but with our limited time it made sense and was a great experience. All our connections worked like clockwork and the overnight international flight helps to maximise time on holiday. What was great was that the day travelling between parks was set up to include two game drives so it didn't feel like a transit day and in fact included two of our most exciting sightings of leopard and lions.

We chose the parks from the excellent reviews we had read on the website. The brochure pictures of wild dogs are perhaps misleading as the local guides said their range is so huge you are unlikely to see them and we are realistic enough to know that these are very difficult to see.

Very nice trip to Tanzania!
5/5

We've just completed a 6 night / 7 day private safari for 2 of the Tanzania northern circuit organised by Face of Africa Adventures From the quick and friendly emails when first enquiring and booking to the safari itself we had an incredible time. Hamadi was very helpful in organizing the trip and our guide Benson was excellent. All we had to do was arrive at the airport and everything else was taken care of. The Toyota Land cruiser that took us around was spacious and in good condition (and was driven very safely by Benson ) and the accommodation and service was great. Wouldn't have changed a thing about the trip. Benson was great at spotting animals and had a very good knowledge of them (we recorded over 100 species of mammals and birds!). A bonus was having WiFi at all the hotels and in the vehicle if needed (as well as charging points to keep batteries charged). Highlights were the many leopard and lion sightings, all of the elephants and giraffes and the special treatment given to us because of our honeymoon (mention when booking!) and my birthday.

Thank you for making our honeymoon all we wanted it to be.

Fantastic company to deal with and their expertise provided us with an amazing holiday - thank you
5/5

It was a pleasure to deal with ATI Holidays in planning our trip to Namibia. They designed a brilliant itinerary for our trip and were on hand to answer all our queries and concerns. The quality of the accommodation they booked was exceptional and they provided great service to us on arrival in Windhoek and throughout our holiday. We would certainly use them again and have no hesitation recommending them to others.

Service and Trust
5/5

Tanzania is the country to go to for animals, and Tembo Adventure and Safari is the best company to make this adventure a reality. We just completed our 4th tour with Justin and his crew and with 10,000 pictures to prove it, it was again the “adventure of a life time”. Tembo worked closely with us to tailor our group’s trip based on the experiences gleaned from the previous three groups in 2014 and 2015. This year’s twelve person group was mostly seasoned older adult travelers who are photographically inclined individuals. We decided to schedule only four people to a Land Rover for optimum wildlife viewing and photography, and it worked out perfectly. We scheduled two weeks, staying at five excellent tented camps and resorts to allow for maximum safari time along with some leisure time. We headed out every morning well rested and well fed, to find our well seasoned and experienced guides at the well maintained vehicles that were washed and windows cleaned almost every day. I have travelled extensively in my 70+ years, and I’ve filled up 4 passports. This trip without a doubt was the most exciting and truly the “Adventure of a Lifetime”. Justin and the Tembo Adventure and Safari crew have changed my life. For additional details please see my evaluation from last year’s trip dated Sep 11, 2015. Everything I wrote then is still applicable, and Tembo’s service is still totally customer focused and overall an excellent experience. I highly recommend you contact Tembo for any type of Tanzania adventure. They will be happy to tailor your experience based on your interests, timeframe and budget. If you have any questions, concerns, please contact me. [email protected]

It made all the difference while organising and planning and especially beacuse everything was perfect and suited us. The support we recieved was great! And they just understood us every step of the way!

Holiday of a life time
5/5

We visited Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda with Kisoro Tours. Our Driver Guide Dan was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs, especially as I had a young child with me. We saw lions, elephants and plenty of other game during our trip. Kisoro Tours planned the holiday for us giving good advice about the trip, accommodation and activities available. I would definitely recommend Kisoro Tours to anyone wanting to safari in Uganda, especially with children.
