We’ve just returned from what can only be described as the trip of a lifetime — an absolutely extraordinary Safari experience with Fabrics of Adventure Safaris (FAS)!
Before choosing FAS, I reached out to about 20 different safari agencies. FAS stood out immediately — not just because of their competitive offer, but because of the care, attention to detail, and personal touch that came with it. And from the moment we decided to move forward with them, everything that followed exceeded our expectations.
James, our point of contact, was a dream to work with. From the very beginning, he was responsive, proactive, and solution-oriented. When a few of the initially proposed lodges turned out to be unavailable, he quickly secured alternative accommodations of equal or even better quality — without any extra charges. Upon arrival at Nairobi airport, we were warmly greeted by James and introduced to our incredible team for the week: David, our experienced driver, and Anthony, our charming Spanish-speaking translator. Our adventure vehicle — a rugged and reliable Toyota Land Cruiser — was ready to take us comfortably across the diverse and sometimes challenging safari terrain.
David and Anthony were exceptional in every way: kind, professional, endlessly patient, and truly dedicated to making our experience perfect. They adjusted each day’s itinerary based on our energy levels, always suggesting flexible options to help us get the most out of each destination without feeling rushed.
Traveling with our three young children (ages 6, 4, and 1) could have been tricky — but thanks to David and Anthony, it was a joy. They not only ensured the kids were safe and comfortable, but they actively engaged with them through stories, jokes, and playful interactions that made the experience even more magical. Our children were absolutely enchanted — not only by the breathtaking wildlife, but by the warmth of our guides.
As for the safaris themselves… simply spectacular. We explored Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, and Tsavo — each offering its own breathtaking encounters with Africa’s most iconic animals. Thanks to the strong network and coordination between guides in the parks, we were able to spot even the elusive lions, leopards, and cheetahs, along with elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, rhinos, wildebeests and countless others.
This journey gave us priceless family memories — from the wonder in our children’s eyes as they saw their first lion, to the peaceful sunsets over the savannah, to the laughter we shared with our guides on the road.
We wholeheartedly, enthusiastically, and unreservedly recommend Fabrics of Adventure Safaris to anyone looking for a truly personalized and unforgettable safari experience. Well organized Safari
Everything was well organized and we felt safe all the time (maybe except for the night time when lions roared next to our tent ;-)). The lodges were as luxurious as promised. Our driver Marco was very friendly. Food on the game drive could have been bit better (other guides brought total sets with pots with them). Overall, King Mufasa provided the best price performance ratio compared to other tour operators.

Unforgettable Family Safari with Matrix
We traveled as a family of five, including two teenagers, and Matrix Safaris kept everyone engaged and amazed. Amos, was incredibly patient and had answers to every “what’s that?” from our kids. The vehicle was spacious and clean, and the lodges were perfect for families. We appreciated the cultural stop in Mto wa Mbu, where we visited a local market and tasted Tanzanian dishes. This wasn’t just a vacation it was an education and adventure in one.

Incredible Safari Experience with Vibrant Holiday Safaris
I recently had chance to spend an unforgettable week exploring some of Uganda’s top national parks with Vibrant Holiday Safaris, and I can confidently say it was one of the best travel experiences of my life. Right from the beginning, I was warmly welcomed by the guide, who made me feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for throughout the entire trip.
We started with the stunning Murchison Falls National Park, where I enjoyed game drives, a boat cruise, and the powerful waterfall itself. We then tracked chimps in Kibale and explored Queen Elizabeth National Park, where I had the unique chance to witness the famous tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector with the help of Andrew, enjoying the beautiful landscapes. The highlight of my trip was trekking the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest a truly unforgettable and once in a lifetime experience.
The entire journey was well organized by Shamila, and the guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about nature. I highly recommend Vibrant Holiday Safaris to anyone looking to explore Uganda's natural beauty in a professional and welcoming environment.

Great lifetime experience
It was an amazing experience, the landscape was beautiful and we got to see lots of animals! The guides were really nice, always making an effort for us to have a great experience, and the food was also very good! Everything was amazing and I would recommend this experience at least once in a life. The only trouble was that I was advised to be ready at 5 am for pick up and after waiting for 40 minutes outside, I was told that apparently they had changed the hour and forgot to let me know and it was only at 8 am, so I wake up and got ready super early for nothing. Other than that, everything went smoothly.

Everything was great!
The staff at Tremisana was very kind and helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay. They did a great job managing each guest’s individual schedule and were always attentive to every one of us. Tremisana is a lovely lodge, we felt completely immersed in the park, watching impalas, elephants and monkeys while we ate.
We especially appreciated the bushwalk and Mark’s quick driving to show us the rhinos.

simply "MAL D'AFRICA" ("longing for Africa")
Title express completely our feeling (myself and my son) after this experience.
We felt (and we're still feeling) a deep emotional connection and desire to experience (back) the continent of Africa, its culture, and its landscapes.
It think it's linked to a variety of factors: personal experiences, cultural heritage, romanticized view of Africa.
An intense and profound nostalgia felt during and after our jurney and wish to return.
it's an emotional and spiritual feeling, difficult to explain clearly:
- a strong desire to return to the places visited, to relive the emotions felt and to immerse oneself again in African culture.
- a sense of inadequacy and impatience in resuming our daily routine after having lived the African experience
- images, colours, sounds and smells of Africa suddenly resurface, creating a sense of nostalgia and desire.
ALL the above is absolutely linked, inextricablyis to our Camptrek Safari team, our "guardian angels", Augustine and Last.
They were just perfect in every respect, professional, empathy, knowledge of the populations, animals, history and parks: I really do not know how many questions, experiences... and also jokes we've shared with them.
I will never forget the moments of great emotion that I saw my son experience, on his faces, his eyes, his tears: all of this will remain with us forever, in our memories (or better... until next adventures with them! :-))
