Vehicle Safety Concerns and George (Owner) Showed No Accountability
1/5

We had a deeply distressing experience during our safari with Terrain Tanzania Safaris, owned by George. What was meant to be a once-in-a-lifetime trip turned into a situation where we felt genuinely unsafe — and unsupported when it mattered most.

In Kenya, we were provided with a vehicle that, in our experience, raised serious safety concerns, including:
- Seatbelts that did not function
- Exposed, rusted metal that injured my mother’s leg
- A passenger door that swung open twice while driving on the road

We were alarmed and immediately requested a replacement to George. We were told by him that it would be arranged — but then received no updates or communication for over 24 hours. During that time, we felt anxious, helpless, and abandoned. Our current driver on that day also felt confused since he didn't get a confirmation from George wheather he should go back home or continue on the next day. We insisted him to stay that night, because otherwise we could have a risk of no guide or a vehicle the next day, which turned out to be true since George made no replacement arrangements.

On the next day 1:30PM, we were informed by George that the replacement vehicle would not be provided due to additional park entrance costs. To us, this felt like our safety had been deprioritized in favor of saving money — a decision that left us both disappointed and frustrated. Furthermore, this complete lack of communication caused us immense trauma and unbearable stress.

We understand that no trip is perfect and safari conditions can be challenging. However, we believe that basic safety and responsive support should never be compromised.

This experience left us shaken and disheartened. In our personal opinion, travelers booking with this company should be aware of what we encountered, and consider whether they are comfortable with the level of risk and response we faced.

Attentive and trustworthy
5/5

100% trustworthy. We paid in advance. The driver and owner met us at the airport. At the end, the owner met with us to get our feedback.

Efficient
5/5

This was our first trip to Africa and we couldn't have had a better company to organise our holiday. From the moment we started planning to the end of our trip, the level of support from Elijah has been amazing. We had the best guide too ( Alex)he was so knowledgeable and accommodating, he made a trip of a lifetime even better. So thank you all involved and our memories will last a lifetime

Nkuringo Safaris provided a custom wildlife and cultural experience that exceeded expectations
5/5

My wife was heading to Uganda for several weeks of work activities, and we had been wanting to visit Africa for years. She did some research on safari operators in Uganda that included opportunities to try and see gorillas, chimpanzees, big cats and the many ungulates of the savanah habitats in Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo National Parks. Nkuringo not only sounded like an operator that could meet our needs, they fulfilled our wishes perfectly over the 8-day safari.

Our coordinator for the safari, Moreen, went above and beyond to develop our itinerary to match timing of our separate arrivals to Entebbe, making sure that I had a wonderful place to stay upon arrival. She and our safari guide, Emma, met me at the airport and helped me through a rough start with lost baggage (recovered the next day, thankfully). Moreen was there to welcome my wife when she rejoined me in Entebbe prior to our morning start on the safari with Emma.

Emma was quick to probe our interests and adapt our time on game drives and en route to destinations to find great opportunities to for wildlife and cultural experiences. He possesses a wealth of knowledge on the landscapes, communities, culture, and plants and animals, and he patiently answered our barrage of questions on a breadth of topics.

During our safari, we were fortunate to see many key species, including lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, chimpanzees, gorillas, gentle/blue monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, numerous kingfishers, woolly-necked storks, and so many more! Emma’s sharp eyes didn’t seem to miss anything on the drives, and he knew where to go in every park when something a little less common might be found. We also met local experts on guided community walks that exposed us to beautiful places and people along the way, and we found those additional experiences of incredible value and interest.

We also had some incredible experiences at the various lodges we stayed at along the way. Moreen did an excellent job in selecting and booking beautiful facilities with wonderful people, service, food, and overall accommodations.

Moreen was there to meet with us and gather feedback on our safari experience when we returned to Entebbe. She also accompanied us to the airport when we made our bittersweet departure from wonderful Uganda. We are already dreaming about a northeastern Uganda safari experience someday to try and find cheetahs, gazelle, and other wildlife that are in that part of the country. We will be working with Moreen and Emma again if we can pull that trip off!

Without any reservation, I wholeheartedly recommend Nkuringo Safaris for anyone planning an African safari experience. Did I mention that Uganda is also the country you definitely want to visit as they literally have it all, including the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered?

Blessings Safari is a professional, responsive, and deeply knowledgeable tour operator that delivers
5/5

We had an unforgettable experience with Blessings Safari during our trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar! From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine warmth.

Our main point of contact, Elibariki, was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly responsive, clear with communication, and went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our itinerary was thoughtfully arranged. We always felt informed and supported, which gave us peace of mind throughout our journey.

We were also extremely lucky to have Zoya as our safari guide. He was top notch—friendly, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what he does. He made sure we were always comfortable and safe, and he had a great sense of humor that made the trip even more fun. We shared so many laughs and learned so much from him about the people, the different tribes, and of course, the amazing wildlife.

We highly recommend Blessings Safari to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania. They made our dream adventure a reality and gave us memories we’ll cherish forever.

About: Tanzania
A once in a lifetime adventure!
Overall rating
5/5

Wow!!! Whatever you're hoping for, whatever you're expecting, prepare to have your mind blown! I never imagined I would get to do this and I purposely kept my expectations low. I'm a big cat lover and I hope I'd see one or two and I probably saw 100. There's so much beyond that though. The scenery is unlike anything I've ever seen. The wild animals just living in the wild and being allowed into that is just awe inspiring. I saw everything I hoped to see and I saw things I couldn't believe.
We chose Lion King Adventures. The price was right, they went to all the parks we read about and they had great reviews. I had no idea we would be with our own guide and we hit the jackpot there. Mkwanda was so fun and he knew everything about everything I asked. We learned so much about the animals. He took us to all the good spots and having 13+ years of experience, he knows his stuff. We really bonded with him and he seemed to really enjoy how much joy we got from the experiences. He also got us in perfect position for some great photo opps.
We stayed for 6 nights and all of our accommodations were above and beyond our expectations. The lodges were beautiful, but I really loved the rented camps inside the parks. The rooms were just as nice as the lodges, but you were right in the middle of things. It was July, the weather was perfect. I brought a light fleece jacket and wore tank tops underneath and I was comfortable the whole time.
The culture is wildly different and so interesting to learn about. The hospitality is on a level that you won't believe.
If you're on the fence, GO!!!! I haven't been anywhere other than Tanzania and the only reason I'd go anywhere else is to see the great apes someday. It was safe, I never felt anything less than totally secure. The only thing I would do differently is bring more comfortable shoes, shoes that I already love and I would choose a package that was all tented camps.
This was an incredible, phenomenal, surreal experience and I'd go back in a heartbeat!!

About: Kenya
Kenya is a breathtaking blend of stunning landscapes, incredible wildlife, and warm people
Overall rating
5/5

We just returned from a safari in Kenya (2 adults and our 5-year-old), and it was truly one of the best experiences of our lives. Kenya is everything you imagine, breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife, and warm, welcoming people.

A few tips for future travelers:

- Things get dusty, and the rides can be bumpy, Jeep is absolutely worth it.
- June weather was great but keep layers handy, it’s hot during the day and chilly at night.
- Wear whatever you’re comfortable in; you don’t have to stick to only neutral colors.
- Guide is most important part of any safari. We had Felix and he was with us from start to finish, always ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of, while also sharing fascinating facts about the animals and environment.

Kenya is a place you’ll never forget—the raw beauty of the parks, the incredible wildlife encounters, and the warmth of its people make it a dream destination. Our experience wouldn’t have been the same without Stephen’s impeccable organization and Felix’s exceptional guiding. If you’re planning a safari, Kenya will steal your heart.
