Excellent safari in Masai Mara
Me and my friend had an 5-day safari in Masai Mara with Axis Africa. Everything was perfectly organized and arranged by Lucy at the office.
A huge shoutout to our guide, Collin Leipei Sempele. He’s knowledge of the wildlife and landscape was impressive, and his ability to spot animals from incredible distances made every game drive exciting. Thanks to him, we saw everything we hoped for and more - including the migration crossing the river.
Collin was professional and made us feel safe, informed, and taken care of throughout the trip. He also made sure the vehicle was tidy after each game drive.
If you’re considering a safari in Kenya, I would recommend Axis Africa for good planing, and our tour guide Collin for the best experience during the safari.

The best company to choose for safari!
We had an 5-day safari in Masai Mara with Axis. Everything was perfectly organized and arranged by our consultant Lucy. The dialogue was good all the way. She responded quickly and was easy to communicate with. She arranged everything for us and did her utmost to make the trip as we imagined it would be.
At Masai Mara we had our guide, Collin Leipei Sempele. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. He is a very experienced guide, he shared a lot of his knowledge and was very committed to his job. He knows the Masai Mara inside and out, and thanks to him we saw all the animals we had hoped for. We saw lions and cheetah on several game drive thanks to him and got some really nice photos. We saw migration crossing the river.
Not least, Collin is an extremely nice, friendly and understanding man. I felt taken care of throughout the days.
I will recommend Axis Africa and the best guide, Collin Leipei Sempele. I am so grateful that we had Collin as our guide. We couldn't have had a better experience!

Professional, friendly and flexible. Problem solvers who made our vacation so memorable.
We had an amazing experience. Uganda is very beautiful country. The Sunup Adventures were always quick to reply prior to our arrival, and were able to readjust our trip when airline cancelled our flight last minute and we had to purchase new ticket to arrive a day later. The Sunup adventures are very friendly and extremely helpful with everything. Our guide, Big Ben, is full of knowledge about all the plants and animals and very patient with all our questions. Everything was very smooth and we saw so much and I know this was due to hard work of team of Sunup Adventures and our amazing guide Ben. Thank you for memories we treasure for the rest of lives. All started thanks to Herman with a very professional support to design our family trip, offering multiple options for our stages in the tour, accomodations, food& drinks during the tour, advices about Tanzania, and replying all our questions promptly and sticking to the facts that we experienced during the trip.
Then, the amazing job of our guide and driver Samir, he has made the most to satisfy our high expectations and he really made it happen.
He has lead us to the best spots in the best moments, with remarkable skills driving through any kind of ways and roads. He has been always supportive to any special need from our side, providing valuable information. After a dusty drive, the next day, magically, the car was absolutely tiddy and clean. Very friendly and engaging with each of us with our preferences/ likes/ hobbies

The best safari
Choose Williamson for a perfect safari. They have the best guides! And there are guides who can speak Chinese, which is the best part! We saw the big five on the grassland, all thanks to our excellent guide. The itinerary and accommodation were both great. In short, we were very satisfied with everything!

A Perfect Safari Journey with Extra Miles Unique Adventures
Among the 30+ local tour operators I contacted, I chose Extra Miles because of Joseph’s professionalism, enthusiasm, and patience—and it proved to be the right decision. Joseph, Fred, Felix, and the entire Extra Miles team made this trip absolutely perfect.
We booked the itinerary a year in advance, and after paying the deposit, Joseph’s attentiveness never wavered. He promptly answered all our questions and resolved any issues, consistently confirming details with us before the trip. When he noticed our late-night flight arrival, he even went out of his way to pick us up from the airport at midnight and escort us to our hotel. Throughout the trip, he checked in daily to ensure we were enjoying ourselves, always prioritizing our experience.
Our first stop, Amboseli, was a perfect appetizer. The hotel choice, Eleai, offered the best view of Kilimanjaro. Our guide, Felix, was incredibly punctual with top-notch driving skills and led us to a stunning spot where elephants and the snow-capped mountain aligned perfectly.
The Masai Mara leg was even more spectacular. Calling Fred the best guide in Kenya is no exaggeration. Even during non-safari drives, he shared rich cultural insights, deepening our understanding of Kenya. The vehicle was top-tier, with large windows and a canopy ensuring every seat had a prime view. Knowing we were big cat enthusiasts, Fred took us to see three cheetahs and countless lions in a single day, including an adult male lion casually lounging beside our vehicle to cool off. For every animal we encountered, Fred provided detailed explanations of their behaviors and traits, patiently answering our questions without a hint of impatience. His deep knowledge allowed him to anticipate animal movements, positioning us for the best viewing and photography opportunities.
The final stop at Crescent Island was the perfect conclusion. Joseph thoughtfully included a lunch at Naivasha Sopa, where we experienced this unique hotel and spotted Rothchild’s giraffes. Remarkably, during our boat tour after the Crescent Island hike, we encountered rain in the dry season, making our journey even more unique.
In short, this was a flawless trip, and no words can fully express our gratitude. The next time we go on a safari, we will undoubtedly choose Extra Miles again!

马赛马拉的行程则是更为惊艳，Fred说是肯尼亚最好的向导也不为过，哪怕没有Safari的赶路过程中，也给我们讲述了非常丰富的人文知识，让我们更了解肯尼亚这个国家。车的条件也是最顶级的，超大的窗户和顶棚，保证了车上每个位置都有绝佳的视角。在得知我们是大猫爱好者后，更是带我们一天之内看到了3只猎豹和数不清的狮子，其中一条成年雄狮甚至主动趴在我们车旁乘凉。遇到的每个动物，都会给我们详细的讲解他们的习性和特点，不厌其烦的回答我们的问题，没有丝毫不耐烦。可能就是因为对动物的了解，Fred总能通过预判动物的走位为我们找到最佳的观看和拍照点位。
最后的新月岛行程更是为我们的行程画上了一个圆满的记号，Joseph在安排行程时，细心的为我们增加了naivasha sopa午餐环节，让我们感受了这家特别的酒店，并在这里打卡了罗氏长颈鹿。值得一提的是我们在新月岛徒步结束后的游湖过程中，在旱季竟然还赶上了一场雨，更是让我们的行程变得更加unique。
总之，这是一次完美的行程，任何语言都不足以形容我们此时此刻的感动，下次再来safari我们还是会坚定的选择extramiles！

This safari was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life – and it wouldn’t have been half as amazing without the exceptional team behind it.
From the moment I booked with Serengeti smile with Jonyo, everything was smooth, professional, and personalized. Communication was fast and clear, and they tailored the experience exactly to our timeline and budget without compromising on quality.
Our guide David was a true gem incredibly knowledgeable, and so skilled at spotting animals from far away. He gave us fascinating insights about each animal and ecosystem. He also made us feel completely safe and comfortable the entire time.
We visited the Ngorongoro Crater & Tarangire and both were breathtaking. We were so impressed by the level of care that went into every detail of the trip.
