The tour was fantastic. We see a LOT of animals, truck was always clean and now let’s talk about the most important person in our trip. The guide ! DAVID was more than a guide. He was our historian, our mechanic, our helper, our protector and he was the reason why we will give a note of 11/10 to classic journeys. All Buisness have truck and go in the same parc or reserve but you cannot choose your guide at the first time. Please ask to have David if you travel with classic journeys you’ll not be disappointed. We booked our 8-day safari through Serengeti Smile, an Arusha-based company. Our sales agent, Erick, was extremely responsive and willing to work with us to customize our trip-every email was rapidly answered. He was also available during our safari, so we could easily communicate any question or schedule change. Simon, our tour guide for the safari, was very competent and attentive, and went out of his way to ensure we had the best experience with many unique animal sightings.

I joined a 7-day Kenya Safari with Jungleroam Safaris, and it was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. Our driver, Joshua, was not only highly skilled behind the wheel but also full of humor and rich knowledge. He shared fascinating facts about the wildlife we encountered, as well as insights into Kenya’s culture, history, and traditions. He also introduced us to the Maasai people’s way of life, along with stories from other African countries. The group of fellow travelers I met on this trip came from all over the world, and our conversations made the journey even more rewarding. This trip was not only a feast for the eyes but also an enriching cultural and historical experience.

Organized, helpful & chill
The flight transfers and meet-ups all went smoothly. The staff were very friendly and helped me buy a phone card quickly. The meals cooked by the chef traveling with the vehicle exceeded expectations—they were heartfelt home-cooked dishes.
I got to see all the animals. Although I didn’t witness any hunting scenes, I saw the large-scale migration of wildebeests, lions passing by at close range, and the thrilling moment when a rhinoceros chased the car.
We also took an extra boat trip on Lake Naivasha. The unique scenery there makes it well worth a visit.
I booked a Budget Safari. The accommodation conditions in Masai Mara were indeed very poor—only cold water for showers and dim lighting. When we arrived in Nakuru, we stayed in a small house, but unfortunately, the power went out as soon as we checked in and didn’t come back on even when we checked out the next day. I have no complaints, but it was a bit amusing yet frustrating.

Great service from an engaged operator
My wife and I spent three very enjoyable weeks in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Tailormade Africa made all of the arrangements in and everything worked out well. The operator was responsive to requirements and every place we went to met or exceeded our expectations. All of our transfers to and from the airports, and camps were arranged and worked seamlessly. We were guided to wonderful places by Machete, who introduced us to the beauty of Tanzania with extreme professionalism and kindness. Best experience for the best price
I just want to say that Olivia with Psalm Adventures made my first safari experience very easy and enjoyable. We were able to customize our package and add on extra flights to get to and from where the safari actually began. This included the domestic flights its self along with a driver to get to and from the airport. Once on the safari we had a place to stay every night, 3 amazing home cooked meals a day, drinks (water, beer, wine) and they even provided a mattress and sleeping bag for the tents and toilet paper. There really wasn’t anything we needed that they weren’t able to accommodate or help us with. With this being our first trip to not only Africa but on a safari there were definitely a lot of unknowns when planning but with Olivia’s full itinerary break down I was really able to visualize what to expect on the trip and be able to prepare the few things I had to take care of on my own like the travel visa and ZIC insurance for Zanzibar. I can not speak more highly of this company and my experience, I would recommend to anyone considering a safari! We seen a ton of animals and ended up booking for 6 days which was perfect for us to really get the full experience. I was a bit skeptical about the price at first simply because other safaris can be so expensive, but I truly felt like I got my moneys worth and would 100% rebook with Psalm Adventures again
