Excellent guide and driver
5/5

We had an amazing 7-day trip to Kenya, booked through James, and our tour guide and driver was Kalib. He is truly the best person to have for a memorable trip in Kenya.

Our journey began in Nairobi and continued to the breathtaking Maasai Mara. Throughout the trip, Kalib showed us an incredible range of wildlife — rhinos, all the Big Five, the Big Cats, the Ugly Five, and many more animals. He even took the effort and risk to show us lions hunting and cheetahs hunting, which was an unforgettable experience.

Kalib also explained in detail about the animals’ lifestyles, their varieties, and the geography of Kenya and the Maasai Mara. His knowledge, passion, friendliness, and enthusiasm made our trip truly special.

We definitely had a great time and are looking forward to recommending him to our friends in the future. Thank you, Kalib, for making our Kenya trip so amazing!

Great company to do business with.
5/5

Our family of four went on a seven-day Kenyan safari, visiting Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli. We were incredibly lucky to have Zachary the Greatest as our driver and guide. Zachary and Josef picked us up from our hotel in Nairobi, and after a quick briefing from Josef, we dropped him off at the company office and set off on what became the most amazing trip of our lives.

Travelling between the parks was long, but also exciting and eye-opening, especially for Europeans not accustomed to the local way of living. Every park we visited was brilliant and worth seeing, but Maasai Mara was our favourite, particularly because of the abundance of wildlife during the great migration season. We spent three days there, taking different routes each day. We saw four out of the Big Five - elephants, lions, buffalo, and leopards (twice). Although we missed the rhino, we saw countless zebras, wildebeest, many giraffes, cheetahs, hyenas, and a huge variety of birds including ostriches, vultures, and eagles.

Thanks to Zachary’s incredible eagle eye, we even saw a black mamba - something we never imagined we would ever see! One day, he took us by surprise and organised a walk along the banks of the Mara River with an armed ranger, we spotted hippos and crocodiles from a safe distance.

After Maasai Mara, we drove to Lake Nakuru, where the very first animal we saw was a rhino - completing our Big Five! We later saw more rhinos and enjoyed an afternoon drive around the lake, including a visit to Makalia Falls. Lake Nakuru is a smaller, enclosed park compared to Maasai Mara, but still absolutely worth visiting, especially for bird lovers. We saw plenty of pelicans and other species, as well as Rothschild giraffes (different from the Maasai giraffes in Mara), zebras, baboons, hippos, and colobus monkeys.

The next day we took a long drive toward Amboseli, with a stop at Lake Naivasha for a boat trip. It was a bit scary but an unforgettable experience to see hippos from water level. We kept a safe distance, and also saw pelicans, fish eagles, cormorants, and sacred ibis. Halfway through the boat ride, we stopped at an animal sanctuary for a short walking safari among wildebeest, giraffes, and antelopes. Afterward, we visited the Great Rift Valley viewpoint before continuing to Amboseli, arriving in the early evening.

On the way, we made an unplanned stop to help repair another safari truck headed in the same direction. Zachary, apart from being an outstanding guide, driver, and an incredibly funny and genuinely lovely person, also turned out to be a mechanic!

We spent two days in Amboseli. The park is very dry and the drives were dusty, but the scenery more than made up for it, especially the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli had the largest concentration of elephants we saw, including some with impressively long tusks. In addition to the usual zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and giraffes, we spotted lions, cheetahs, monkeys, hyenas, ostriches, pelicans, secretary birds, bustard birds, and even a very strange-looking giraffe antelope.

From the very first day, Zachary asked what animals we most hoped to see. I mentioned the serval, and Zachary warned that it would require incredible luck. On our last morning, just ten minutes from the park gates as we headed back toward the airport - there it was. A serval! It was the perfect final moment of our safari and summed up our experience with Zachary the Greatest: absolutely amazing. You ask Zachary - Zachary delivers.

Zachary was truly a highlight of our trip. Without a doubt, our safari would not have been the same without him. If you have the chance to choose - choose Zachary. If you don’t have a choice and end up with him, consider yourself extremely lucky!

Our accommodation and food were wonderful throughout the trip, especially at Sentrim Mara Camp, which was our favourite. Explorers Wild Adventure proved to be an excellent company to work with, and communication with Johann before our arrival in Africa was impeccable. We highly recommend them to anyone uncertain about which safari company to choose. The experience is worth every penny.

Thank you to everyone at Explorers Wild Adventure for making our holiday so unforgettable.

The Trip of a Lifetime — Thanks to Lion King Adventures
5/5

I’d always heard that a safari is one of those “must-do” experiences — and now I completely understand why. It’s truly incredible. But what takes a great safari from amazing to unforgettable are the people, the small details, and the personal touches along the way.

We did a ton of research before booking and almost went with another company that was nearly double the cost. I’ll admit I was a little nervous that choosing a more affordable option might mean compromising on quality. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The entire experience exceeded every expectation.

Our coordinator, Naurey, was wonderful — friendly, responsive, and endlessly patient with all our questions and itinerary tweaks. Thank you, Naurey!

We arrived in Arusha a day early to recover from jet lag (highly recommend doing this). It really helped us start the trip rested and ready.

Then came our guide — Mwita. And wow. I know there are a lot of great guides out there, but Mwita is in a class of his own.

He’s from the Serengeti and used to be an auto mechanic (which is pretty comforting when you’re hours from anywhere — though we never needed that skill!).

While some safari trucks zoomed past, Mwita was calm, confident, and incredibly professional — exactly what you want on those bumpy, narrow roads. His eyesight is unreal. He’d spot animals hundreds of yards away that we couldn’t even find with binoculars. (Pro tip: invest in a good pair — it’s worth it.)

Here’s how our itinerary looked:

Tarangire National Park – Elephant Springs: 5 star experience

Ngorongoro Highlands – Gibb’s Farm: 4 star experience

Serengeti – Nyota Luxury Lodge: 6 star experience (yes, six stars… it’s that good!)

Ngorongoro Crater – Lion’s Paw Camp: 6 stars!!!

Lake Manyara – Escarpment Luxury Lodge: 3 stars.

We spent one night at each, except Nyota, where we stayed 2 nights.

The lunches were great — warm, filling meals (usually chicken and rice) that easily beat the cold sandwiches I expected.

Lion King’s Land Cruisers are excellent — clean, comfortable, with plenty of room and charging ports for cameras and phones. You also get the sense that the Lion King team really looks out for each other on the road, which says a lot about the company.

Having a safe, professional driver was important to me, and Mwita was all that and more. He shared stories about his family and Tanzanian life that added so much heart to the trip.

This was truly the trip of a lifetime, and I’ll happily recommend Lion King Adventures — and especially Mwita — to anyone who asks.

Thank you for making our dream safari something we’ll never forget.

Local tour operator, kindness and passion which will feel like home
5/5

I have just finished a wonderful 6-days experience with my family in Tanzania. We have been told of Serengeti Silence by a friend who highly recommended this company which he relied upon for his honeymoon. Extremely cheaper than international tour operators.
The booking process was extremely simple: we just booked the flights and then wrote a WhatsApp message to Emily asking for a detailed safari experience. She came back to us the day after with a custom program for the three of us: we have visited the most iconic national parks and conservation areas in Tanzania (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and lake Manyara). We bugged her with tons of questions before leaving (it was our first experience in Africa) and she always reassured and clarified every doubt.
Our guide, Gody Champion, was amazing! He answered all of our questions with patience, drove us all around this heavenly places for 12 hours a day and supported us even for issues that were out of his business (like changing money, stopping for souvenirs). He taught us so much about wildlife, territory and culture! And of course, we have seen all the big 5 and dozens of other species. He was supportive when we asked for the hundredth time to stop for taking pictures to zebras or other animals. I highly recommend him as a guide.
So, again, thanks Serengeti Silence for making this experience memorable to us. We hope to come back soon! Hakuna Matata!

My family and I just came back from the best trip ever in Tanzania! We went with a company named Serengeti Silence.

Our guide was named Gody Champion and he was the coolest. He told us all about the animals and we saw lions and elephants and even a leopard! He drove us around all day to find the best animals.

I loved it so much and I hope we can go back. Thank you! Hakuna Matata

The 77-day safari was a once-in-a-lifetime trip!
5/5

The 77-day safari from Nairobi to Cape Town was a once-in-a-lifetime trip!

Our guide, Peter, and our drivers David and Steve, were phenomenal! They were great people and we couldn't have asked for better leaders!

Sophi did an excellent job of communicating with me and even took a 20-minute phone call as I was trying to figure out whether or not to book the trip.

I didn't imagine we would see as much as we did. It's hard to describe everything fully: from the number of animals to the amazing community members to the beautiful scenery, it was all INCREDIBLE.

The Best Safari Experience
5/5

We chose Super Eagles because their Kenya itinerary looked the most well-planned and diverse. In the end, we spent 8 days that went far beyond our expectations. We felt calm and confident at every step: from the moment they met us at the airport until the very last minute.

Our guide Simat was always smiling, attentive, and very punctual. Since we are interested in wildlife photography, we told him about it on the first day. He listened to every single request we had. Thanks to him, we brought home hundreds of amazing shots! Sinatra also told us many interesting facts about the animals, the country, and the Maasai people.

The places we stayed were always comfortable, and we enjoyed good meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On our request, we were also given a photographer’s jeep, where we could fully open the windows and take photos.

Nature in Kenya exceeded our expectations, and we are already planning our next trip to this beautiful country.

These were the best and most interesting days we had in Africa. Thank you so much!
