He spoke english fluently and I understood everything. We could ask questions any time and he always was polite and gave us the best answers. The tour was such a great experience. We saw so many different animals and our guide always tried to find the best spot to make incredible pictures. Also the lunch was well prepared and very tasty.

Perfectly organized, professional, and warm.. and unforgetable!!
Climbing Kilimanjaro was truly an unforgettable experience — one I will never forget. What made the trip even more special was the incredible team.
From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. The communication was great, I immediately felt I was in good hands. Genes is not just professional and reliable — they genuinely care about their clients.
The staff was amazing. The guides were knowledgeable, supportive, and always made sure we felt safe. They checked on us daily, paced the climb perfectly, and kept the energy positive even during the toughest parts. The porters and cooks were just as impressive — so hardworking, kind, and always smiling. The food was delicious and I was so inpressed what they can make so high up in the mountains in short time and for so Many people.. unbelievable! But the entire team made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of every day.
Even when the altitude and terrain got tough, I always felt secure thanks to their experience and attention. Their professionalism gave me the confidence to keep going, and ultimately, I reached the summit feeling strong, safe, and incredibly proud.
This was not just a trek — it was a powerful personal journey, and I’m so thankful to have done it with Genes. I highly recommend them to anyone dreaming of climbing Kilimanjaro. With them, you’re not just climbing a mountain — you’re doing it with a team that feels like family.

A trip of a lifetime - made personal by an incredible team
From an adventurous 4-day safari to a memorable visit to Moshi – where we were even able to spot Mount Kilimanjaro – everything was thoughtfully planned and organized with genuine care and attention.
They truly went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable – always taking time for us, never rushing, and constantly making sure we were enjoying ourselves.
We weren’t just shown typical tourist attractions, but were introduced to real local life. We had many authentic encounters with local people, giving us a much deeper connection to the culture and region.
Whenever any problems came up, the team gave their all to make things better for us. Everything felt very personal and friendly – not distant or formal, but more like spending time with people who truly cared. We felt completely at ease and well looked after the entire time.
Our safari was a real adventure – we stayed in tents at campsites where zebras and even elephants visited us directly! It was wild, beautiful, and truly unforgettable. A huge thank you to Ali and Jerr, who made the safari so special. We had many laughs and great conversations along the way. Ali’s cooking was amazing – especially his soups, which we’ll still be talking about for years to come.
The whole team was incredibly reliable – always on time, always reachable, and consistently warm and supportive.
A special thank you to Erick, who was with us every step of the way – and, as a bonus, has an awesome taste in music.
Asante sana!

Awesome experience
Aminiel, (our guide) did an awesome job to bring us to the right place at the right time. We saw a leopard and Aminiel brought us at the best spot to have a great view of the creature. We saw a lion, a lot of zebras and elephants. We saw giraffes, various sort of monkey, bulls, and a lot more. He really did his best to make this an experience of a lifetime.

Outstanding Tanzania safari - 6 days
Thanks to Benson Safari for making this happen. Appreciate the prompt communication prior to our trip and willingness to work with me in building a customized itinerary to meet our needs. Thanks to Mr Benson, Grace and Paul Balthasar Ngoty, our driver and guide. 1) Witnessed absolute magic at Mara River in Northern Serengeti. Saw multiple wildebeest crossings across the river on Aug 20 and 21. From Kenya back to Tanzania. Early for this time of year. Great stay at Aurari tented camp, about 45 minutes from the river (will post separate review under Aurari). 2) Enjoyed our stay at Serena lodge in Central Serengeti, 3) Miracle Air balloon ride was fantastic….saw lions, elephants and lots of deer and zebras (will try to post separate review). 4) Magic again inside Ngorongoro crater (witnessed a lioness kill a wildebeest) with a 2 day stay at Serena in Ngorongoro (will try to post separate review), 4) Finally stopped by at a Masai village (will try to post separate review if possible under Paulo Emanyata, name of village, with young Chief Paulo giving us a grand tour) on the way back to Arusha and onto Kilimanjaro.
Make sure you have a good pair of binoculars and a good camera w a powerful zoom lens (400mm).
Vegetarian food is not an issue at all the lodges and camps. The Chefs were extremely flexible and worked with us to provide great Indian vegetarian food.; even food without garlic if that’s in line with your liking.
Be prepared for rugged terrain (bouncy) with a lot of dust.
Have a lot of patience and rise up early and be prompt with your multiple game drives. Request lodges to pack lunch daily for you; this way you maximize your time spent on watching the crossings or going on game drives.
Great country - Tanzania and great people. Loved every day of our stay.
Finally don’t forget to buy Napenda (“ I like” in Swahili) coffee from Mr Benson. He owns a coffee farm.
Asante sana ( picked up some Swahili and people thought I was a local.)

Our 3 day Masai Mara safari was an expectational journey into the wild.
Me and my 5 friends was planning to go on a safari in the Masai Mara. As per the plan, we kept looking for a local tour operator in Kenya and we booked Namnyak Tours and Safaris the right one. And they have been a great help throughout the entire trip.
Spending 4 days in the Masai Mara felt like living in the heart of nature’s masterpiece. Our first game drive, the endless savannah stretched out before us, alive with movement and sound. We watched elephants crossing the river with such calm strength, while playful zebras and gazelles filled the plains with energy. Each day had its own surprise, a family of lions lazing in the grass, a cheetah sprinting across the horizon, and colorful birds decorating the sky. The rhythm of the wild was humbling, reminding us how nature exists in perfect balance.
Every day brought a mix of excitement and serenity, showing us the wild heart of Kenya. Meeting the Maasai community gave us a glimpse of their proud traditions, making the trip even more meaningful

An amazing safari adventure with Axis Africa Expeditions & Safaris - one we will never ever forget!!
Our adventure started some months ago when a very good friend mentioned going to Kenya with her 2 sons in the summer, and I thought "oh wow what an amazing experience it would be for my son and I" as we'd not yet been on a safari. I asked if we could tag along and after 7 amazing days in Maasai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha (including Cresent Island boat ride & walk) & Amboseli I couldn't have imagined anything better/different.
My friend had done her research and already had a good idea of the 'must see' places. She contacted several operators but Monica, our safari organiser from Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris, adjusted the itinerary to our wishes and was always available to answer all our questions promptly, by email and on WhatsApp. The package also included a reduced price for our boys (12-13 years), tented camps as our accommodation as we wished to provide the boys with a more realistic experience, and hotel/airport transfers. Monica even arranged last minute airport transfers to our hotel since we arrived late the night before. Harun and Maurice, our aiport/hotel drivers, who patiently waited for us at the airport/hotel, were reachable on WhatsApp and extremely courteous.
As for the safari experience itself, there are no words to express how amazing it really was and even more amazing was the driver and guide assigned to us. With his orange goatee and smiling eyes, Yasin was the perfect match for our 3 boisterous boys and their 2 no-nonsense mums. He's an extraordinary driver and traffic/rough terrain navigator, he's extremely kind, patient and gentlemanly, and has exceptional abilities to get you to the right spots during the game drives. Besides the big 5, which we crossed off our list in the 1st 3 days, we also saw a numerous wild animals and birds in different habitat. The climate varied from cold and wet to hot and dusty. Yasin is very knowledgeable about all animals, birds and the surroundings, and answered every single question we had. I honestly thought the boys would be bored on the long game drives and journeys between parks, but they enjoyed every minute of it also thanks to Yasin who is also very capable with kids, always managing to get their attention by asking the right questions to lure them in.
Yasin also ensured smooth check-ins and that we did not miss a single meal while travelling between parks or when out the entire day. And on the last day, when our flight got delayed by 3 hours he offered to take us for a tour of Kobe Tough beads & leather and also the Giraffe Centre.
Finally, I must mention the tented camps we stayed at - Wild Nest Mara Camp in Maasai Mara and Manjaro Tented Camp in Amboseli - both of which were superior to the example pictures Monica had shared with us. The staff was always extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was always freshly prepared, and the tented rooms were large and had warm water and comfortable beds.
It definitely couldn't have been any better. Thank you so much Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris ❤️
