We booked with Meru Slopes only a couple weeks before arriving. We planned and communicated via WhatsApp, which made it very easy and I was able to ask all my questions. I travelled alone with my 3 kids, so it was important to me to know I was taken care of and able to have a one to one contact.
We wanted the budget experience, not just for economic reasons, but also because we wanted to sleep in tents. Sleeping in a tent, hearing the lions roar and being greeted by a zebra in front of your tent was truly magical.
We were so lucky to receive Stanley as our guide. He accompanied us the whole time, alongside our chef Johanni, who prepared fresh food for us 3 times a day! Both of them were so friendly and I can only highly recommend them!
Stanley has the eyes of an eagle and spots animals long before you will. He knows the area so well and I often observed other guides asking for his advice. His experience and calm will help making your safari unforgettable.

We booked a 6 days mid-range private safari with Suricata Safaris and had a wonderful and unforgettable time. Everything went very well, just as we had planned. The staff was always very friendly, welcoming and professional.

We had such an amazing time on our safari through Tarangire NP, Lake Manyara NP, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater! Our guide Rocky was super knowledgeable and made the whole experience so fun and run smoothly. Accommodation during the safari was amazing (especially Suricata Boma Lodge) and staff were very helpful and accommodating with my food allergy. We did this trip as part of our honeymoon and couldn’t have asked for a better time! We were very lucky also to see amazing wildlife. Just an all round unforgettable experience!

Outstanding honeymoon safari from start to finish
We booked our honeymoon safari with Mellivora African Travels and it was truly the trip of a lifetime. We spent 5 days exploring Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire, and the whole experience was flawless from start to finish.
Our safari guide, Jordan, was absolutely fantastic – incredibly knowledgeable and knew exactly where to take us for the best sightings. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to see three leopards and even a cheetah. We also saw many lions, including adorable lion cubs, herds of elephants, and countless other incredible animals.
The organisation by Fransisca was seamless, and everything ran perfectly throughout our trip. We honestly couldn’t have been happier with how our honeymoon turned out – it was everything we hoped for and more.
