An epic travel adventure to Kenya's National Parks with a knowledgable and experienced travel guide
We spent two adventurous weeks with James Muchina of Wild Portraits Safaris traveling to Kenya's National Treasures - Amboseli, Masai Mara Triangle, Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Nairobi National Park. This is an epic adventure for photographers, as James is knowledgable of the local wildlife and can also identify and locate birds. He is respectful of the park rules and wildlife distancing. I would not want any other driver to assist with getting the best photographic positioning and anticipating wildlife locations. Our days started early at 6 am and did not end until 6 pm with a break for lunch, so that we could take advantage of seeing the height of animal activity. He is an excellent safe driver and will give you great confidence when traveling across Kenya. All accommodations that we had were in the parks. They were all excellent, clean and provided great food. A definite bucket list must do trip. Do not miss out, you will be ever thankful for this life changing experience in Kenya, it was worth every dollar spent! I would definitely travel with Wild Portraits Safaris again.

A journey of heart and adventure
A five-day circular trip from Entebbe to Fort Portal, chimpanzee trekking in Kibale, a visit to the Bigodi community, then an exciting gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a relaxing time on an island in Lake Bunyonyi, and finally returning to Entebbe. Excellent accommodations and meals, and the professionalism of our guide, Ronald, proved to be a wonderful adventure companion. Highly recommended.

Domi was awesome! He was polite, professional, and gave us a perfect Safari experience.
We did a 6 day Safari. Our driver was Domi, and he was awesome! First day was spent in Tarangire. A beautiful park with lots of elephants, we even spotted a leopard in a tree. Day 2-4 were spent exploring the Serengeti and the Great Migration. Words can not describe the amount of animals you will see in this park. Truly an out of this world experience. Day 5 was spent in the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater was so beautiful. We got to see lots of animals here and the best part was seeing 2 Rhinos. This completed us seeing the Big 5! Day 6 was spent in Lake Manyara, another beautiful park in Tanzania with lots of animals. The vehicle, the driver, the lodges and the campsites were amazing, very well kept and clean.

On safari, the real highlight was our guide Daglas who is knowledgeable, professional, and truly passionate about wildlife. Thanks to that, we spotted the Big Five and so much more. It was everything a wildlife adventure should be.

Domi was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable about the parks, animals, and safety.
Our experience was amazing. We were able to see the Big 5 including 2 black rhinos in the Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide Domi was great at finding animals for us and telling us fun facts about the environment and wildlife. Our guide made sure to clean the safari vehicle daily and it was well maintained (Land Cruiser with TRD package, top comes up so you can stand while viewing the animals). The lodges and camps were amazing. Our favorite was Serengeti Classic Camp. The camp was gorgeous and the staff was so friendly. They had hot showers, clean bedding and mosquito nets, and the facility is new. Staff at Serengeti’s Classic Camp did a traditional birthday song/dance for my birthday as well. We were treated so kindly and professionally by all staff - between booking while planning our custom safari package, our guide, and all the staff at the camps/lodges.
