Tanzania Creative Expeditions gave us an unforgettable trip to Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Everything was well organized, from the warm welcome to the knowledgeable guides who made the safari exciting and educational. We saw incredible wildlife up close and enjoyed breathtaking landscapes. Their professionalism and personal touch made the journey truly special!

Kenya Safari in August 2025
3/5

We booked a 6-day, 5-night Kenya safari for August 2025. We compared multiple providers and ultimately chose a high-season safari in Africa.

Itinerary: two nights in Amboseli, one night in Lake Nakuru, and two nights in the Masai Mara.

On June 19th, we paid our deposit.

On June 23rd, we received our first contract update, changing our hotel in Lake Nakuru. Since there were many nearby hotels, I thought it was a good option.

On June 27th, we received our second contract update, also changing our hotel in the Masai Mara. The new hotel was significantly worse than our previous one (Google rating: 3.9 vs. 4.8) and the location wasn't great either.

On July 31st, 10 days before our departure, we received our third contract update, changing our hotel in Amboseli. It was a nightmare. The hotel was like a two-star hotel, and we didn't even have room for our luggage. The location was terrible, two hours from the park entrance, and the road was terrible. Compared to our original hotel, we had to drive an extra three hours to reach the park.

- Our flight arrived at 5:10 AM, but our driver arrived around 8 AM. Our first day's plan was to do an afternoon safari in Amboseli. We needed to get from the airport to the hotel, rest briefly there, and then head to the park. Remember my last comment about the location of the Amboseli hotel! That day was truly terrible day, full day drive and only 1 hour in the park.

- Our contract stated that in the Masai Mara, we would have an afternoon safari on our arrival day, a full-day safari, and a morning safari on our final day. However, we only had a two-day ticket, which allowing us to enter the park only two days. Also, given the hotel's location, our first afternoon safari would only be one or two hours, leaving us unable to enter the park on our final day. We had confirmed this with our driver from the start, and he said we could enter the park on our final day as long as we departed before 10 AM. If we had known this from the beginning, we would have stayed longer in Lake Nakuru (to get more sleep) and skipped the afternoon safari on our first day. We would have planned a longer safari on our final day, as we would have been returning to Nairobi hotel (not airport).

- Hotels play a crucial role in a Kenyan safari, and we changed all our hotels after we paid. But why three stars, and not the worst? Kenya is truly beautiful, and we felt safe upon our return.

Unique and caring honeymoon in Tanzania
5/5

We’re a Chinese couple from China and we found Luna’s from safaribookings. I was contacting five different trip agents at the same time but Luna was the fastest replier.
Ana was the manager and she is so thoughtful and kind. She planned us not only the classical trip but also gave us many unique experiences— horse riding, farm hiking, braiding and candlelight dinner. These made our trip so unforgettable.
However, Ana did not only give us these unique experiences, the classic experiences were also full enough. Serengeti, Kilimanjaro mountain, Ngorongoro Crater, Zanzibar island… Our memories are full of stories and laughters.
The only imperfection was the car issue. Our vehicles broke twice which slowed our trip a little bit. However, we reckoned it was a small comma during our trip and it gave us more time to relax in the camping site.
I would recommend Luna’s to everyone and will definitely choose Anna again if I have another chance to go to Africa.

Fred is an excellent guide, save driver, patiently looking out for big and small animals, respectful
5/5

Our tour lasted 12 days, Christmas days included, where Fred (also speaking German) could not stay with his family. It was a wonderful tour through Tarangire, Ngorogoro - where we saw 2 rhinos, lake Manyara, Serengeti and Kilimadscharo National Park with a tour through coffee and tea plantations.
We have seen all big five several times.

Our guide Fred was very adept in finding good observation points and let us enough time for surveillance and taking photos.

The camps, mostly tent camps, were absolutely great, big, clean, perfectly equipped and the meals very good. The service in all locations was very good, people very friendly.

The price/benefit was absolutly correct.

A Genius Guide, Tony, Who Made Our Safari Unforgettable
5/5

Tony is an extraordinary guide, incredibly knowledgeable, like a zoologist who knows every animal’s habits and behaviors. He always seemed to know exactly where to find wildlife and positioned us perfectly for stunning photography. His instincts and expertise made every game drive feel like a masterclass in nature.

Beyond the safari, Tony’s attention to detail was unmatched. His vehicle was spotless every day, no dust, no trash, and all our belongings neatly organized. He’s thoughtful, trustworthy, and went above and beyond, helping us with immigration paperwork and even taking me to a local pharmacy when I had stomach issues. His driving was smooth and safe, making us feel comfortable at all times.

This was truly an amazing safari experience in Tanzania, and Tony was the soul of it. If we return to Tanzania, we wouldn’t want anyone else guiding us. He’s simply the best.

The only thing of the itinerary I felt could have been better planned was the hot air balloon ride in Maasai Mara. To be honest, we only saw two ostriches during the entire flight….not a single antelope or zebra, which was quite disappointing given our expectations. Had the balloon ride been arranged in Serengeti instead, I genuinely believe I would’ve rated this trip a perfect 10 out of 10.

Excelent experience!
5/5

The whole experience was fantastic. Anthony accompanied us from start to finish and was an excellent guide, very flexible with our interests and needs. The tour was phenomenal—we visited Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and the Masai Mara. Everything was beautiful. The hotel options they offered were very good, and we were very satisfied. We would definitely recommend Noni Golfing, especially Anthony. Sam from the administration also stayed in touch to check if everything was going well, gave us gifts, and was very kind.
