It Started in Africa Exceeded Our Expectations Once Again!!
A friend and I were on safari last year with It Started in Africa and we were so lucky to see The Big 5.
So this year when my sister said she would like to go on safari we went back to It Started in Africa.
They answered all my emails quickly, answered any questions I had and made our booking seem
quite effortless. Our guide, Deo, was perfect for us. He sure is knowledgeable, answered any and all
questions. We almost saw the Big 5 but the Rhino was a ways in the distance and was laying under a tree
in the shade with its back to us. It was still pretty cool. We saw so many cats this year and watched a
cheetah take down a Thompson Gazelle. The first night we stayed at Burunge Tented Camp, staff
were great, food was excellent and we loved the accommodations, second night at Serena Serengeti, cute
little gnome like rooms, felt like we were in The Shire'. Everything was great here as well and the third
night at Rhino Lodge was a great place to stay on our last night. There were zebra right out our front door
and elephants foraging in the mist while we were eating breakfast. We loved every minute of it and can't thank our guide Deo enough. He even played our silly travel games with us. We did have problems with
the truck but it was switched out for a new one early on second day on the way to the Serengeti gate.
Thumbs up It Started in Africa!! Thanks Deo!! 6 out of 5!
Trip of a life time
Firstly, we have been to Africa previously and all over the world in 35 years of travel, so we are not wide-eyed, easily impressed people. Our guides, Donatus and Elia, we're beyond knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and fun. they went out of their way beyond belief to make our trip pleasurable and convenient. As for the schedule, it was perfect, mixing degree of fanciness of lodging. Food was great! And the animals of the country, I have trouble explaining how bre as the taking. Been all over the world and this trip ranks inbthe Top Ten, probably Top Five, of any trip

A wonderful holiday for the 2nd time with Tailor Made Safaris
For the 2nd time we went with Tailor Made Safari’s on Safari, this time through the North of South Africa (Kruger and so much more).
The organization of our holiday was excellent and Tailor Made Safari’s really took our personal whishes into account when arranging this trip.
Before we left, we received a complete travel pack that included a bound book of our trip, the navigation system (TomTom) and telephone with a South African sim card.
We choose to alternate between driving through the parks ourselves and going on game drives with a guide.
Again, the locations where we stayed the night were perfectly in order.
Angela and Nick, thank you for organizing this wonderful holiday.

Had an amazing time
I had an amazing time on the 3-day safari to Murchison Falls. Everything was very well organized and the guides were very kind. The accommodations were not very luxurious, but the basics (cold shower, toilet, electricity, mosquito nets, etc.) were there.

Great Value
Peter and our tour guy, Six, were very helpful. We were amazed how much we could see in 3 and half day tour. We saw all the animals that we wanted to see. We love waking up with animals around the tent and saw zebras at our hotel courtyard at night.

My Kenya Safari
Right from the beginning the experience was wonderful. Lawrence was extremely helpful in coordinating our safari planning and provided clear instructions. He was very attentive in the lead up to the safari and was always responding to our questions promptly.
Our guide Chris was very sociable and informative about different type of animals and trees above all he had a remarkable ability to spot the wild animals. We were extremely satisfied with our safari experience, we saw more than we could have hoped for.
I would surely recommend Khanga safaris to anyone who wishes to do a safari in Kenya

Excellent Safari Experience
Best Day Safari offered the experience we wanted at a very reasonable rate. Their delivery was impeccable and our guide was remarkable. He found every type of animal, there can be no criticism for not seeing a Rhino, including the small rare cats. How he finds them while driving is a wonder. The accommodation was spot on especially KatiKati and I can't recommend them enough.

Professional, safe, dependable and organised.
My friends and I had been interested in making the trek up Mount Kilimanjaro for about two year. We had done research and based on what we discovered, we all agreed that we would require a well experienced, very dependable guide company; and that is exactly what we got when we booked with Ruff n Tuff safaris.
Our trip started as we landed in Tanzania, the company welcomed us at the airport with big smiles and friendly faces; they were so excited for us, for our upcoming trek up Mount Kilimanjaro. As we arrived a day before our climb we were housed at the Ashanti Lodge in Moshi (the climb cost is inclusive of hotel cost for one night before and after the climb with two meals included with stay). The hotel was fabulous, it had a pool, amazing food, very comfortable rooms and everything is clean. The staff is friendly, helpful and very welcoming, always ready to assist with whatever you may need.
As we got settled into our rooms, the company arranged a small meeting with the main tour guide so he could walk us through what was to be expected on our journey. The guide inspected our gears, to ensure we had the correct equipment, and what we did not have, they took us to a place where we were able to rent what we needed.
Up on Mt. Kilimanjaro, we were well taken care of; the food was amazing! I was always really surprised with the variety of food that was served. They made sure we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner, even when we were not hungry; they encouraged us to eat and would not allow us to simple not eat. They made sure we were always safe; if we were struggling with our day packs they assisted us by carrying them (even when they had their own packs to carry). They carried out medical checks on us at the beginning and end of every day. I was really amazed with the porters, they did so much and when they got to the camp site they always came back to see if we needed assistance, some even walked with us (I really appreciated that).
After our climb we had a day to do some shopping, and being the accommodating host that they are, Ruff n Tuff safaris picked us up from our hotel, took us around town and stayed with us the entire time while we shopped! Made sure we got everything our hearts desired.
On our last night in Tanzania, the company hosted us at their family home where they prepared a variety of African dishes for us to try; all of which tasted great! The food was lovely; the company was cheerful, engaging and welcoming, so great that we lost track of time.
When we were leaving, even though we had just met them a week prior my friends and I felt like we were leaving friends behind. Ruff n Tuff safari is a professional trustworthy company; they are dedicated to ensuring your time in Tanzania is filled with good times and heart-warming memories. And for me and my friends I can say that they left a good impression. If I have to visit Tanzania again I will most definitely be arranging any and all tours with Ruff n Tuff safari.
