John was amazing since the moment we arrived he greeted us in the hotel and explained us everything. He made sure everything was on the spot and made it very professional the even manage to get us upgraded for the honeymoon and great lodges in the Safari. We really enjoyed our Kilimanjaro and Safari trips. Really recommend and will book again if come back.

We had an amazing climbing experience with Kilitewnde, thanks to the incredible guides - Peter and Daniel, and the entire team (Rashidi, Hamadi, Good Luck, Raymond, Ramadan, Jamal, Samuel, Metod, Shahidu and Adam). Everything was handled perfectly, from the big things to the smallest details, always with a smile and a great atmosphere. The guides were attentive, professional, very knowledgeable, and full of humor, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We even learned a bit of Swahili along the way 😉
The food was delicious (Thanks Rashidi!).
If you’re considering it - don’t hesitate. Highly recommended!
P.S. - ordering a portable toilet made a huge difference! Highly recommended!

Best safari tour Ever!!!
Clare and Dexter were 5 stars all the way! Our family 8 day safari/ day hike was perfect in every way - they helped customize our dream trip, and were honest, trustworthy, informative, kind and reliable. Outstanding support and communication before, during and even after the tour
Working with Lisa for the past year, arranging a group tour which ended up at 21 individuals was an outstanding experience. The ship docked in Mombasa which made the road trip to the Safari long and at times bumpy. The drivers were excellent and the diversions on both the drive up and return made the total experience even better. The Zawani Lodge was very comfortable and the wild life drives gave us many opportunities to see a variety of animals. The cost per person was extremely reasonable. Lisa provided electronic links to make payments which worked out without a hitch. Constant contact through WhatsApp made changes and updates easy and comfortable. With the road construction underway, future tours will have a much easier and more comfortable transfer from port to Reserve. If the travel time is reduced, more time seeing animals and enjoying the Reserve is very probable. Highly recommend KingTomondo Safaris as a company especially with limited time and long travel involved.

Amazing day trip!
I had only a few hours after a work meeting and before the airport. Great Escape Trails came to my rescue and showed me a great day. On time, informative and helpful every step along the way. They’re based in Moshi so they even dropped me off at the airport for free. Recommended!
