Ok
The camping safari is pure adventure.
However, there were a few things that didn't go perfectly.
We were reliably picked up from the airport by taxi. The taxi driver told us the safari started at 7:00 a.m. At the hotel, we were told the safari started at 8:00 a.m. The actual start time was 8:30 a.m., but we were misinformed. The safari itinerary was also changed (Lake Manyara on Friday instead of Tuesday), which isn't a problem in principle. However, this needs to be communicated. According to the description, the game drives last about 6-7 hours. In reality, however, they lasted a maximum of 4-5 hours, as we didn't start at the agreed time on a single day.
Some of the campsites were very run down, often with only cold water, and only one of the three showers working.

Worth It
Such a beautiful country and people, experience and professional guides. The big five in Ngorongoro and the plains of Serengeti was paradise in front of our eyes. Recommend to family and friends

A passionate and professional tour operator who customizes tours for you.
My wife and I returned recently from a safari trip arranged by Safari-online and we both enthusiastically tell our friends that this was the trip of a lifetime. We began planning in 2024 by working with our operator, Ilona Biagio. Ilona met with us twice by remote video calls. She took the time to get to know us and find out exactly what we like and know. She had questions for us and did not try to "sell' us a package before she figured out the perfect customized itinerary. I highly recommend to future customers that you begin your journey by meeting with the tour operator face-to-face. Ilona then put together two options and then considering what she knew about us, she guided us to the best option. One more thing: at some point she learned that 2025 was our 20th wedding anniversary, so at each destination, the camp staff did something special for us. We were truely touched. Thank you, Ilona!
Safari-Online works with Desert and Delta Safari tours. D & D Safari is also a highly professional team that made our experience rich and safe. The accomodations were over the top. The food was amazing. The staff are unforgettable.
Thank you, Safari-online and Desert and Delta

Amazing, knowledgeable and delicious
The six of us (parents and teens) enjoyed every minute of our safari with Wakanda. We chose a 4-day camping safari covering Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Our guide Issa was fantastic. Thanks to him we same the big five and their little ones, truly one of the most exciting experiences one can have. He is is really knowledgeable and quick to spot and locate animals as well as very kind, patient and helpful. In addition, we became fans of our chef Idrissa and his meals. We are happy that we could taste Tanzanian flavours thanks to him! The girls absolutely enjoyed his pancakes and desserts. Very important for me as our group’s main contact with Wakanda was to feel Beatrice’s responsive presence on WhatsApp as we got everything ready. Asante sana to the whole team!

Memorable Kenya Safaris with Excellent Guide but Room Coordination Needs Improvement
We had a wonderful safari experience with Axis Africa Expeditions & Safaris. The communication during booking was smooth and their driver-guide, Livingston, was simply outstanding—very knowledgeable about wildlife and birds, and made our game drives in Masai Mara, Nakuru, and Amboseli truly memorable. The value for money and service during the safari were excellent.
However, we faced an issue with the hotel room in Amboseli. Despite confirming a Mt. Kilimanjaro view room in advance, we were initially given a different room and had to put in extra effort to get what was promised. After a long 8–9 hour road journey, this was quite inconvenient.
Overall, the safari itself was exceptional and I would highly recommend Livingston and Axis Africa for game drives, but better coordination on hotel arrangements would make the experience completely hassle-free.
Shelton was a very pleasant and informative . Tour of Vic Falls very enjoyable.
We really enjoyed this tour but wonder if the Zambian brief visit is necessary as have to go through customs again etc.
The Tour we did was overall fantastic and would recommend it .

Tatenda was very knowledgable and enjoyed the time we had with him travelling through Botswana.
We really enjoyed our time in Botswana. Elephant Sands being the highlight but generally an interesting time travelling from Chobe to Maun. Tatenda made the trip special with his knowledge overall of the country and is a very safe driver.

Thankful for Golden Rwanda Safaris
Golden Rwanda went above and beyond to make sure we had a true lifetime adventure. No question or request was too silly. Every detail was handled and they showed us opportunities we did not know existed.
