Holiday to remember
A Safari is a very complicated type of holiday considering all the different elements involved such as transfers, accommodation, flights, etc. We were pleasantly surprised that all went like clockwork and we kept up with our proposed itinerary. Due to the rains in the some of the bridges had been washed away and we had to use alternative routes to the lodges. We really had fun and miss the glorious Tanzanian sunshine.

Fantastic lodge, staff, food
A group of 12 of us climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Sept 2013, and used honey badger lodge as our base in Moshi, plus used them to organise our 5 day climb up Mt Kilimanjaro via the marangu route. Everything from the minute we arrived at the airport was spot on, 100% satsifaction from all 12 in the group. The accommodation at honey badge lodge is superb, lovely rooms, fantastic swimming pool, and the food was very very good, especially the pizza. And with a cold kilimanjaro beer what more could you want.
The guides they provided were expectional, they made sure all 12 of us reached the summit. The food on the moaunitan was also great. We could not fault anything, from the pick up at the airport, the accommodation & food, teh guides and experts on the mountain. We would all recommend them 100%. So much so, there is a group of 31 of us climbing Kilimanjaro in October 2015, and we will be using the exact same blueprint as last time.

Tanzania - 3 parks and Big Five
Thank you Philemon, Iris and Jordan for the amazing safari experience. Everything from planning to execution was smooth and efficient.
We visited Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Highlands Coffee Farm and had time of our life.
Philemon, our driver guide, was fantastic and he's knowledge of places, animals and people was amazing. He made us feel unique, not like just another customer.
If you are looking for a Safari Operator for your trip, stop looking, Tanzania Serengeti Adventure is the operator that makes your dream come true.

great 5 days in Selous
I went with Kanuth Adventures to Selous from Dar in December for 5 days. Both our driver/ guide Immanuel and the cook Joseph were very nice and did a great job. We spent the first and the last night in Hippo Camp just outside of Selous Reserve, doing a nice boat tour on the evening of the first and a walking safari on the morning of the last day. The three days in between we spent in Selous, camping at Lake Tagalala (thus staying right in the middle of the reserve and not losing unnecessary time driving in and out). There were not as many animals as you see in the pictures from Serengeti, but I very much enjoyed the experience as we did find lots of animals (lions, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, various monkey, giraffes, water bucks, impalas, warthog, wild dogs (!) ...) but it was really being out in the wild without too many cars around. Food was excellent and Immanuel was a good guide and a safe driver. We had some problems with the car one morning but Kanuth organised a replacement car and a mechanic so that was solved in reasonable time. Great trip at avery reasonable price! Thank you!!!

Excellent experience
I had an amazing safari with my family. I am very happy about the arrangements and the gamedrives fulfilled more than my expectations. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was more than willing to find the Big five for us.
We stayed at five different lodges, one of the best was at a coffe farm. It is absolutely worth a visit.
A big Thank you to Iris and Philamon för making our safari one of our best experiences.

Due to very last minute booking, communication with Ute at RYC went smooth, gave great confidence.
Communication with Ute went very well, quick answers, to the point and within very short we agreed to do the tour.
The tour itself was a great success despite our wide experiences in Kenya and Tanzania. Logistically everything was well arranged, tickets, transfers, accomodation etc etc. It is always good when during the tour you have no questions. Next to that Botswana, and i have to highlight 1 place " Kana Kara", was terrific. Chobe Safari Lodge and A'Zambezi River Lodge were perfect as well but in another category. "Kana Kara" is a place due to its basics, location and people you never forget. Thanks Ute, well done.

We flew in from around the world for a family Christmas and New Year that no one will forget!!!
Ten months were spent planning our family Christmas Safari. E-mails to East Africa Safari with questions during these 10 months were promptly answered. When the day came to fly to two different airports (Arusha and Kilimanjaro) from different parts of the world (USA & Qatar), it all came together seamlessly thanks to the careful planning, on time flights, and the commitments met by East Africa Safari. We all met in Arusha on Christmas Day at the time estimated several months prior (15:00) and we enjoyed a Christmas day together that was out of the ordinary. The next day our 22 & 25 year old kids quickly connected with our good natured guide, Melckizedeck (Melk), who knew the territory well and had many contacts throughout the Maasai communities of the Serengeti. Mingling with the villagers and local culture added an unexpected element to the trip. At the end of the 7 day adventure we saw many animals, had lots of laughs, and shared experiences we will remember forever. We left highly pleased with East Africa Safari and I would recommend them to anyone.

This was a great safari experience from beginning to end!
I was very happy with our experience with It Started in Africa from beginning to end. The office contact person was prompt and helpful in answering questions and expediting booking the tour. We chose to be met at the airport and the young men who met us were personable and helpful. The office manager came to our hotel to meet with us and go over the details of the safari. We chose the 4 days/3 nights safari to Lake Manyara/Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater and found it a great experience. We chose the camping safari and found it suited our budget and yet was comfortable. It was fun meeting some of the other people doing the same type of safari. Our driver/guide Martin was excellent and very knowledgeable both about the animals and how to get the best views of them. He also timed where we went for our game viewing to be able to see as many animals as we could. We were fortunate to be there for the start of the wildebeest migration and even saw a cheetah attacking one for dinner! Martin was good company, always looked out for us and graciously accommodated a few spontaneous requests on the last day returning to Arusha. Our cook Samwell made us delicious food and there was always plenty of it. We were happy to have box lunches as it allowed more time for game viewing. He was flexible and made us a box breakfast at our request on the morning we went to Ngrongoro Crater so we ate it in the beautiful surroundings of the crater. We saw a wide variety of animals including elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeests and a black rhino. Altogether we had a great time and appreciate the work that this safari company put into making it so enjoyable!
