I chose Top Selected Tours after reaching out to six different companies, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. We did a four day safari to Ndutu to see the Great Migration, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.
From the moment we were picked up, we felt completely at ease with our guide, Jackson. He is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and clearly loves what he does, and it shows in every part of the experience. By the end of the trip, it genuinely felt like we were saying goodbye to a good friend.
The Land Cruiser was in excellent condition and very comfortable, with a pop up roof for optimal wildlife viewing. Jackson consistently found the best locations and positioned the vehicle perfectly so we could get clear, close views of the animals. We were lucky enough to see an abundance of lions, along with cheetahs, a leopard, elephants, hippos, giraffes, and much more. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience.
We were also extremely happy with the accommodations. From the tented camp in Ndutu, complete with a flushing toilet, hot shower, queen size bed, and desk, surrounded by zebras and gazelles walking through the camp, to Eileen’s Tree Lodge with its beautiful grounds and pool, everything was top notch. The food throughout the trip was consistently excellent.
This safari was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend Top Selected Tours to anyone considering a trip to Tanzania. It’s also worth noting that they are Tanzanian owned, so you’re directly supporting local businesses. Five stars, without question. And if you go, ask for Jackson, you won’t regret it.

Brilliant Ben successfully listened to all we wanted and enhanced the experience beyond expectation!
Starting with finding the right package, Jackson was so quick to respond and helpful. Arriving at the Airport, Andrew was such a cheerful sight to welcome us and get us safely to our hotel. THEN the piece de resistance (crowning glory) was our safari guide Ben. He was so cheerful, knowledgeable and most importantly he listened to what WE wanted from the safari. He worked so hard and made such an effort to deliver what we asked and MORE! Accommodations were all very good and what we expected. The vehicle was well kept and perfect for the Tanzanian “massage” roads. All the viewings were so exceptional, from the birds, our focus, to the magnificent beobabs, fabulous wildebeasts with zebras, to the magnificent large cats. We saw it all and not just in the distance but up close and personal. Our first day walking safari in Arusha led by Michael was most informative and thrilling to be walking amongst the buffalo, giraffes and viewing the waterfall. Thank you all at Topy you really did make our dreams a reality.

I would always pick Kajie Safaris again for a tour through Uganda. The response and organisation of my trip was super easy and the team was very flexible on making sure I get all I was looking for during my 7 days in Uganda. Thanks to Ronald and Josephine for helping me out with all my requests. Needless to say that all the accommodations were top notch, from the Bweza Gorilla Lodge, Aakvard Safari Lodge, Chimp Nest - I loved them all and I was always sad to check-out after 1-2 nights only.
The biggest shout out and thanks go out to my on site guide Casmir aka Herbert who was not only my guide and driver but also my babysitter, 24/7-entertainer and car-pool-karaoke-buddy becoming more of a partner in crime (metaphorically speaking of course) during these past 7 days. Making sure we were always safe on the road, never missing on one of the scenic routs instead of the main-road, finding the best coffee places with a view and making this week of looking for wild-life and being in nature into one of the best weeks in my life. Travelling solo is not always easy, but with a guide like him there was no single moment to be worried or to be bored - time was flying way to quick, even during the long hours of driving/roadtripping across the country - he was really the best company I could have asked for. (althought he did not let me win at pool. ;-))

Absolutely superb service!
Susan was recommended to us by a friend of a friend, and I am *so* grateful she was! We were planning a trip to South Africa, and were overwhelmed by choices and really unsure how to choose between them. Susan gave us excellent advice and made some superb recommendations, from which we picked Umlani Bush Camp from the Timbavati reserve. Susan took care of all the arrangements, and sent us a super useful itinerary and travel guide, which we relied upon heavily throughout our South African adventure. She also helped us find a hotel in Johannesburg and gave us really good advice about building our itinerary there.
We had the most magical four nights at Umlani. It was everything Susan had said, and more. And she was available on email and WhatsApp throughout the period leading up to our stay and during it. We were confident that we were well informed, well supported and enthusiastically cared for. Susan helped us build a really special holiday, the memories of which will last a lifetime.
I would not hesitate to recommend Susan to anyone wanting to book a safari - or indeed any element of a holiday in South Africa. Pembury Tours are excellent value for money, superb communicators and deliver all they promise.

Our two-week private Kilimanjaro climbing and safari tour through Tanzania Pilgrimage Safari was truly exceptional.
From the very beginning, the communication was clear, professional, and reassuring. Joel carefully listened to our wishes and arranged a well-balanced itinerary that perfectly suited our family.
The Kilimanjaro climb was extremely well organized. Our guides were experienced, attentive, and always prioritized safety while encouraging us every step of the way. Thanks to their excellent support, even our 10-year-old child was able to reach the summit safely, which made the experience even more meaningful for our family.
The safari portion was equally unforgettable. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife, and overall the logistics were handled smoothly.
At the beginning of the trip, we stayed at a hotel that did not fully meet our expectations, but the team responded quickly and arranged a change without any trouble, which we truly appreciated.
During the safari, our vehicle got stuck in the mud twice. It was handled on site, but based on this experience, bringing a rope could be useful, especially during muddy conditions.
Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations in every way. We are deeply grateful to Tanzania Pilgrimage Safari for creating such a memorable and meaningful experience, and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering a Kilimanjaro climb or safari in Tanzania.

Very good, extremely nice and responsive
From the first email to the reservation team on my plans for doing a safari, they gave me a reasonable quote and explained what was included in the cost . I may have asked him a million questions and Paul and Winfred answered all of them.
He was very approachable at all times before and during the safari and helped us with any stress we were experiencing even during the safari. The safari itself was on top notch with us seen a lot of wildlife. We used a safari van which was always clean ans well maintained.

Unforgettable journey with fine scenery, experienced guide
Our travel company Sote Tours and Travel provided us with our most important trip after my wife and I discovered their services through online searching and received prompt email answers from them despite the different time zones.
We saw everything we could have wanted to see which included lions elephants leopards rhinos giraffes and various other animals because Reuben used his exceptional vision and extensive knowledge of animal behavior to find them. He displayed patience and thoughtfulness while ensuring our safety and comfort throughout the entire experience.

Vera was supportive and provided us with alternatives and guidance prior to out trip to Kenya. This was our 3rd safari tour in Africa so we has some ideas what we were prioritizing and Vera and her team supported us in different ways in a good way. Safari is a costly adventure but we were able to find a good balance between cost and value. Our guide was very knowledgeable and easy to communicate and interact with. He made real efforts to provide us with the best experiences and we got to know each other and have fun together during out days in Kenya.
