The perfect safari tour company!! Amazing!
I can try to sum up Zohar African Safari in one word: Exceptional!
Before I ever book any trip, I am the type of person that researches for ages. I read all the reviews, and do tons of reading about the company or an accommodation I’m thinking of booking. I researched and reached out to many Safari tour companies before deciding to go with Zohar. From the very first communication, Lilian was amazing! She was very quick to respond, incredibly communicative, patient, and so, so helpful! She worked with my budget and my ideas to hand-tailor the perfect 12 day bespoke safari itinerary for my husband and I for our honeymoon through Tanzania.
I have been saving up for this trip for quite a while, and it could not have been more perfect! All of the accommodations that Lilian recommended were incredible. Seriously awesome. Our itinerary that Lilian created was beautifully varied— combining lots of game drives, cultural experiences, some rest time sprinkled here and there, and an amazing hot air balloon ride in the northern Serengeti, which I highly recommend! To top it all off, we had the most awesome guide, Solomon, who expertly navigated us from one camp to the next through all of the days of our Safari. He was very cool and relaxed, and so full of so much knowledge about the land and its wildlife. And on top of all that, he had the most amazing eagle eyes that could spot animals so far away.
Zohar‘s vehicles are incredibly comfortable and well stocked, and when specially outfitting her vehicles, Lilian made sure to take into account all of the photographers, like myself, that would be going on Safari.
Every moment of the whole trip was so well organized, and we felt so incredibly well taken care of the entire time. You can tell Lilian and her team are sooo passionate about what they do, and they truly go above and beyond to make sure that your Ari is as wonderful as it can possibly be. I honestly can’t wait to book another Safari with Lilian and her team at Zohar, and I 100% wholeheartedly recommend that you not waste any time looking any further, and just book with them! Thank you, Lilian, Solomon, and your team, for the most incredible experience of our lives. We are so grateful!

Dude, it was awesome! The accommodation was top - notch. The driver was super knowledgeable. He could remember the habits and living characteristics of so many animals clearly. And he drove really safely throughout the journey. I'm stoked about this trip!

Once-in-a-lifetime experience and beyond expectations!
Our safari with Serengeti Unforgettable Safaris was beyond anything we could have imagined. From the very beginning, everything was taken care of with such thought and detail. The company not only arranged our flights to and from Zanzibar but also booked our hotel, which was absolutely incredible—we even enjoyed watching the sunset from our room on the very first night. All of the accommodations throughout our trip were top notch, and every meal was provided. On our second day, we were surprised with a bottle of wine, the perfect way to relax and celebrate our amazing adventure.
The safari itself was breathtaking. On our second day, we visited the Ngorongoro Crater/Caldera, which was an unforgettable highlight. Along the way, we had the surreal experience of seeing a lion casually strolling down the road as if it owned the place, and a cheetah out in the morning light—moments we will never forget.
Our guides, Mr. Julius and Edward, were outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making sure we had the very best experience possible.
If you’re dreaming of a safari that’s seamless, personalized, and filled with once-in-a-lifetime memories, we cannot recommend Serengeti Unforgettable Safaris highly enough!

A Journey Filled with Smiles, Wildlife, and Warmth
We had a wonderful experience with Buyaga Safari! From the start, Peter was very responsive and extremely helpful in planning our trip. We went on a 6-day adventure with our guide, Deneson, who was truly amazing. He was always smiling, kind, and deeply knowledgeable about both the wildlife and local cultures. From our airport pickup to the drop-off at the end, he made sure everything ran smoothly and seamlessly.
Along the way, we stayed at several lodges, each of which was very comfortable with welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. Overall, the whole journey exceeded our expectations, and we are so grateful to Buyaga Safari for making our trip to Uganda such a memorable and special experience. Highly recommended!

Budget friendly, good service, well organised
We were re-directed to Super Eagles tour company on the day of the tour by our initial company we booked with.
We travelled on a budgeted 6 days 5 nights safari which included from and to Nairobi. The places we visited were Masai national park , Mara village, Lake Nakuru, boat trip in Lake Naivasha & Amboseli .
The tour is well structured and spaced out between activities and break.
Our guide Benson was fabulous throughout the trip. He is soft spoken, patient, mannered, trustworthy and managed the large group well. He is very knowledgeable, but also would say “ I don’t know “ if he didn’t have a particular information. His connections and network with other guides helped maximise our safari so that we could see as much during the game including the big 5.
Accomodation- Other than our stay in Masai Mara at Manyatta camp ( which had problems with leakage of toilets and they seriously need to resolve the matter for hygiene issue, ) the other 2 accommodations were very decent. The one in Lake Nakuru called Eldorado Rustica had a pool and staff esp Paul were very friendly.
Also accomodation at Amboseli - Osutua camp which is recently opened a month ago- had first class service. The camp tent was good with essentials. Thanks to Elizabeth who made sure she remembered the names of the guests. The staff were always checking in for our comfort.
Being vegetarian has some challenges, but staff at Eldorado and Osutua were excellent in offering fabulous choices of vegetarian options and ensured we had something to eat everyday.

Upmost Professionalism and Service!
Booked a 5 day private safari for our honeymoon and it could not have been more perfect! From the beginning phases of planning, Zepha was very responsive and planned everything to ensure we were able to secure the lodging that we preferred with our travel dates. He informed the lodge staff that we were celebrating our honeymoon and they made our experience even more special! We chose our guide, Ezekiel Masai based off of past reviews and he was hands down the most informative and professional guide. He was flexible with our schedule and tailored our experience to our preferences. If you are looking to book with a tour operator and guide, look no further, this is the one!

Amazing
We went on a 4 day safari tour with Wakanda and started through Ngorogoro Crater and finished in the Serengeti. We also did a sunrise hot air balloon tour one of the mornings and it was absolutely stunning. Our guide Freddie and chef Mosis shocked us with how amazing things would be. Freddie never failed to miss an animal on the drives and Mosis never made a bad meal! Experience was a 10/10!!

The wildlife reminded us to live in awe of nature and all life. We are one world!
It has been over ten days since my first safari trip ended. On the last day, the manager asked me to write a review on the spot to acknowledge their work, but I declined. I wanted to take my time after returning home to reflect on the experience and express my thoughts sincerely, rather than rushing to give a high rating just for the sake of it.
I came across Moria on Safari Booking somewhat serendipitously. I was almost ready to book with another company, but their response time was less than ideal. In contrast, Moria’s owner was responsive on WeChat, efficient, and professional. The pricing was reasonable, and I didn’t feel the need to negotiate. I customized my itinerary to include pre- and post-safari arrangements, airport transfers, and a 5-day budget shared group tour. Overall, it was well worth it.
The safari itself was enjoyable and relaxed. Our guide, Eli, was knowledgeable and managed to show us the Big Five and the Great Migration—we felt truly lucky. He was also communicative, observant, and clearly experienced. That said, toward the end of the trip, after long days on the road, he seemed a bit tired and occasionally less patient. This is understandable, as guiding the same trails repeatedly must be challenging, and maintaining constant enthusiasm isn’t easy.
One issue worth mentioning involves the group dynamics. Since it was a shared tour, guests from different companies were grouped together. Originally, the final day’s volcano safari was scheduled to end at 2 PM. However, due to some guests needing to catch a flight, the whole group had to return several hours earlier. I was initially told that separate transportation would be arranged for those in a hurry, so the rest of us wouldn’t be affected. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible, and we all returned together. To make up for the shortened activity, the company added a visit to a city museum, which I found to be a thoughtful gesture.
That said, the communication during this process was lacking. There was no prior notice or explanation from the company—everything was relayed through Eli after internal discussions. Even when I sent a message to inquire, I received no response. From a customer’s perspective, this felt dismissive. It seemed as though the company’s approach was simply to resolve issues internally without keeping the client informed or reassured. This may reflect the owner’s straightforward style, but at times, it came across as indifferent.
For example, on the first day, we agreed to meet at 8:10 AM. I received a call at 8:00 AM questioning why I wasn’t ready yet, and the owner’s tone felt rather cold and reproachful. I believe there’s room for improvement in terms of service awareness. The customer experience isn’t only about what happens on the safari—details and communication matter greatly.
I also think it would be helpful if the company provided a checklist of essential items or helpful tips before the trip. Many visitors are on their first safari and may not be fully prepared for conditions in the camp or what to bring. A simple list of tips would be a thoughtful touch—I’ve seen other agencies do this, and it’s greatly appreciated.
I’m sharing these points with the hope that Moria can recognize areas for refinement. Good communication and attention to detail are key not only to attracting customers but also to retaining them.
Before I left, the owner, Joshua, came to the vehicle and gave me a staff T-shirt. I had mentioned to Eli earlier that I liked the design, and he kindly arranged for me to have one. It was a meaningful souvenir, and I’m very thankful for that gesture.
Overall, the trip was smooth and enjoyable. I truly love this country and was touched by the warmth and friendliness of the local people. I sincerely hope Moria continues to grow and improve. I would gladly join another tour in the future.
A slightly reluctant 5-star rating as a gesture of support and encouragement.r
