Flexible and creative
5/5

This was a last-minute booking in the end, that prelude a fair bit of research on available option. In the end, the personal and flexible touch by Anastasia gave me the confidence to go with the company.

Our guide, Francis was a no-nonsense safari guide who not only impressed by his knowledge base once in the Plains of Masai mara but also by his service and customer safety first attitude. We encountered some amazing experiences, such a very close encounter with a 4 meter python *everyone sees lions, coupled with a male lion at 10 meters from. Francis was top notch guide with the right kind of approach that made the 4-day tour what it was, a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you team and can truly highly recommend the company.

They are transparent and deliver expertly customized safari experiences with seamless organization
5/5

Our experience with Blends of Africa was incredible! They are local based tour operators and their organization and planning is what stood out to us. They were the only one who gave a detailed price breakdown and were completely transparent with all the costs. They worked around our wishes with the places we wanted to visit and customized the tour within our budget, so we decided booking with them. Mary is super friendly and was always available and communicative, helped us with all our questions before the trip and created a beautiful detailed timeline on an app so we could follow every step of the journey. During our private safari we saw all the animals we wanted to see and had a great time with the guides through Nairobi, Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Ndutu and Ngorongoro. An unforgettable adventure, a full wilderness experience and I can only recommend to book their service!!!

The best operator
5/5

Our group of 12 had a wonderful 6 days safari with guides Danty and Benar. Suzan always quick to answer our emails and Whatsapp. Good accomodations and we loved the meals at Wild Nest Camp in Maasai Mara.

I highly recommend booking with Tropical Wild Expeditions.

Really good safari
5/5

Great value for money. Mountain warriors organized accommodation, meals, transport and guides for a safari and tour of hot springs and materuni waterfall.
Our guide, kefas, for the safari was fantastic at finding the animals. We managed to see all of the big 5! And he provided interesting commentary on their habitats and habits.
Several of the tour companies will combine tourists to maximise the number in the car (up to 6) and minimise the number of cars required. This was fine for us, because we got to travel with a few different groups of people for different parts of the trip.
I would recommend a 3, 4 or 5 day safari. We managed to see all of the big animals in the 3 days of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, but travelling through the Tarangire NP allowed us to see so many more elephants, and Materuni Lake was a different landscape (although the animals were harder to find compared to the Serengeti which was not ideal).

Attentive
5/5

My safari in Uganda with TrueVine Safaris was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was well organized, seamless, and thoughtfully planned. I was amazed by how many animals we were able to see — every game drive felt like something out of a documentary.

Our guide, Bernard, made the experience even more special. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. He took the time to answer all of our questions, shared fascinating insights about the wildlife and local culture, and made sure we were always in the best position for viewing and photos. Most importantly, he genuinely cared that we had a great time, and it showed.

I highly recommend TrueVine Safari to anyone considering a trip to Uganda. It was an adventure I will never forget.

professional
5/5

If you ever find yourself planning a trip to Tanzania, I cannot recommend Ro Scavenger Safaris and our guide Fredy highly enough.

He wasn’t just a guide—he was a translator of the wild. While other vehicles chased every sighting, he taught us when to stay and when to leave, when to watch and when to look away. He didn’t just name animals; he helped us understand what they were doing, feeling, living.

He opened a book to show us a bird, then closed it to tell us why the lion needed its solitude. He turned the car around when the crowd pressed too close, and waited an hour for a pair of lions who never showed—because, as he said, “It’s not about how many you see. It’s about what they’re living through.”

If you want someone who sees the wildlife not as a checklist, but as a story—book with them. You’ll leave with more than photos. You’ll leave with a different way of seeing the world.
