Really responsive and helpful during the planning stages. Helped us get the perfect arrangements, answered all of our questions, and got us the directions and details we needed to find our way there and make the whole adventure happen. And we in route they were right there with us answering questions and providing information as needed.

Amazing safari with a wonderful chef
5/5

We had booked a 4-day safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with 2 nights in a tent and one in a hotel. To start, Steph welcomed us in Arusha the day before and showed us around Arusha and the market, it was great! During the safari we were treated to the wonderful guide Jeff, after 20 years of experience, he surprised us with his eagle eye, nothing escaped him! He allowed us to have the incredible chance to see the big six! It's magnificent! To make the safari even more amazing, we were accompanied by a chef just for us, he cooked us whatever we wanted in large quantities and it was excellent! During lunch in the camps we saw that we were privileged because most of the other people who were on safari with other companies had a miserable cardboard box with industrial food!
Before choosing this agency, I contacted about ten others. Fondness Vacations offered me one of the best prices for a top-quality service. In a word, it's INCREDIBLE!
Finally, Steph took us to a local brasserie at the end of the safari; we had a blast!

Would do it again in a heart beat
5/5

where do I even start.. we got the best tour anyone could wish for. My father and I travelled with Brian on a 3 day Maasai Mara shared tour. He is the best driver anyone could wish for: he was at the right moment every time. Leopard was spotted? We were there in 5 min. Lioness with cubs? One of the first to arrive.

Communication wise everything was super easy and we had a great budget accommodation too. I would recommend this tour to everyone!!!

Our Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru Safari experience was fool.
5/5

Our 4-day safari was honestly one of the best trips I’ve ever taken. The mix of adventure, peace, and pure beauty was unreal.
We stayed 3 day in Masai Mara. Our guide Richard was the best, he knew so much about the animals and could spot things we’d never notice. The Masai Mara completely blew me away-seeing lions up close, elephants walking calmly by, and that endless open land stretching forever. We got a chance to meet up with Masai people and we were really impressed to see their cultural activities.
Last day at Lake Nakuru. The place gave us the peaceful side of Kenya, with flamingos painting the lake pink and the cool breeze through the forest. Lake Nakuru was the perfect ending to an incredible last day. Asante Sana Clevers tumuti🙏

The best safari tour operator in Tanzania
5/5

We booked our dream honeymoon 5 day safari with Goldfinch and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!
From the get go, Brenda was responsive and organised, nothing was too much trouble and she made sure to accommodate everything that we were looking for. We had other quotes back from several other companies, but Brenda’s professionalism and responsiveness was far better than any other company we had spoken to.
We were collected from Arusha airport on the first day by Brenda and our guide for the next 5 days, Emmanuel. Emmanuel is a fantastic guide, again, nothing was too much trouble and he really went out of his way to make sure we were happy and that our safari trip was truly special. He was so knowledgeable about all of the animals and we were even lucky enough to be able to see the ‘big 5’. Emmanuel also allowed us the time to visit a Maasai village within the Ngorongoro Crater which we’d urge everyone to do if given the opportunity. It was brilliant and the people were so welcoming. It was great to get to know Emmanuel over the 5 days and we were sad to say goodbye at the end of our trip. On the last day we swapped guides and took a 2.5hr car journey from Arusha to Mt Kilimanjaro to walk the foothills to see Materuni Waterfalls, visit a coffee farm and the Chemka Hot Springs. We didn’t really know what to expect for this part of our trip, but it ended up being an amazing experience and the coffee farm and coffee tasting was another highlight for us! On the way back to the airport we met Brenda again, who gifted me a beach bag and sun hat for our onward journey to Zanzibar - such a lovely gesture!
We would recommend Goldfinch to anyone looking to book a safari trip, we had an unforgettable experience and have made memories that we will cherish forever.

Personal and helpful
5/5

Carien was very open to my wishes of what to include in my trip and made some great suggestions as well. My request was quite short notice but that wasn’t a problem whatsoever. She was very responsive at all times whenever l had a question. Text messages were clear and not ambiguous, as can be the case sometimes when texting. A satellite phone was arranged right before my safari began, and everything went smoothly, without any stress. She really thought along with me throughout my trip, almost as a friend would do. The price l paid for not having to worry about practicalities was well worth it. The hotels and lodges Carien was able to book for me so close to the date were exquisite, trips and excursions were breathtaking, and the restaurants suggested were very good as well. Carien is friendly, sincere and smart, a real treasure. l highly recommend her for your safari in Namibia!

Once-in-a-Lifetime Safari with Zohar — Beyond Our Wildest Dreams!
5/5

It’s been a week since we returned from our unforgettable journey to Tanzania — and we’re still in awe! This once-in-a-lifetime adventure exceeded every expectation we had.
I began planning this trip for our group of eight adults about a year ago, researching several local safari companies before choosing Zohar Safari — and I’m so glad I did. From the very first message, Lillian was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly prompt in answering every question. Together, we crafted a perfect 8-day itinerary combining thrilling game drives, a breathtaking hot air balloon experience, and meaningful cultural encounters — all beautifully balanced for adventure and relaxation.
The accommodations, from migration camps to boutique lodges, were superb — comfortable, authentic, and perfectly located. Zohar’s safari jeeps were also impressively well-equipped, stocked with everything from snacks and water to wipes and even toilet paper — details that made a big difference out in the bush.
Our guides and drivers, Solomon and Goodluck, were truly exceptional — real professionals who became friends by the end of the trip. They are funny, knowledgeable, and passionate about wildlife and nature. They were always punctual, organized, and calm behind the wheel (even on the bumpiest trails!). Solomon’s eagle eyes amazed us all — he could spot a leopard napping in a rocky cave from nearly a mile away! Thanks to his expertise, we witnessed the Great Migration — wildebeest crossing the Mara River while crocodiles lurked below — a breathtaking, heart-pounding sight we’ll never forget. Oh, and he also makes a great “bush bartender” during sunset sundowners! 🍹
What touched us most was how genuinely the Zohar team made us feel like family. They surprised us with birthday celebrations, took care of every detail, and even fulfilled my husband’s special request — helping him capture a photograph of a baobab tree under the Milky Way for his astrophotography project. That moment alone was pure magic.
To everyone at Zohar Safari — thank you for sharing the wonder of Tanzania with us and for creating memories that will stay with us forever. We can’t recommend you highly enough!
