Our first safari, an unforgettable experience!
5/5

We had a great time organizing the tour with Careen from Pumba Reisen. She was responsive to all our emails and tried her best to accommodate our requests. The reservation process was very smooth. Daniel was our guide for the tour. A knowledgeable, resourceful guide, keen on showing us the best aspects of the different parks. He stayed in constant communication with other guides in the park to make sure he knew where the animals were being spotted and made sure to take us there. Our tour included seeing a pride of 25 lions up close, a family of cheetahs playing, several herds of elephants, the elusive leopard, jackals, hippos, and 30 other unique animals.

Apart from the animals, Pumba Reisen arranged for wonderful accommodations in our 4-night stay in the parks. We had a wonderful night's rest in these places. Daniel also arranged fresh food (given our dietary restrictions) for lunch each day in the park, and we greatly appreciated that.

This was our first safari trip, and we will never forget it. Thank you, Pumba Reisen!

Exceptional safari package with outstanding service at a well satisfying budget.
5/5

Must go destinations with many activities and diverse landscapes, surrounded by African wildlife and Masai culture.
I highly recommend Easy Budget Safaris for a perfect safari experience, even with kids.
We only needed to bring our personal belongings as, throughout the safari we were provided with good food and water, comfortable accommodations, a safari vehicle, and an experienced guide.

I really appreciate Mr. David and the team for the great support given throughout our stay.

Special thanks to Mr. David for personally accompanying and guiding us during the hikes.

Excellent tour operator providing a great safari adventure.
5/5

We did the mid- range 8 day safari in Kenya and the accommodation and food exceeded my expectations for the price we paid. Really good value for money. We had Daniel as a guide and he was superb and very knowledgeable. Even when we had vehicle troubles he always made it a fun adventure and things were always sorted out super quickly. The only thing I would say is that the vehicle with 8 passengers is a squeeze at the back so really they shouldn’t put more than 7 so everyone has enough space and can stand up and see the animals. We didn’t bother with the Masai village after hearing some things about it no longer being really authentic but we really enjoyed the boat on lake naivasha and hells gate park riding electric bikes amongst the animals. Great adventures every day and I will cherish the memories.

Exceptional Birding Expertise and Hospitality in Western Kenya
5/5

I am pleased to offer my strongest recommendation for Ouma Oluoko.

I serve as Chief Ornithologist of the Israeli Forestry Service, and during a three-week visit to Kenya, my wife and I had the privilege of spending a full day birding in western Kenya with Ouma. We arrived from Kakamega Forest, and Ouma generously spent the previous night in Kakamega town so that we could begin our birding together at first light.

Throughout the day, he guided us to several birding hotspots across the region. We recorded 58 species, including several lifers for me. Ouma demonstrated exceptional field skills: sharp identification by sight and sound, deep ecological knowledge, and an impressive familiarity with local habitats and seasonal movements.

Beyond his professional excellence, Ouma is an outstanding host and a thoughtful, engaged individual. He and his wife Christine welcomed us warmly into their home for a wonderful lunch, offering not only hospitality but meaningful conversation. We discussed the importance of empowering geographically and socially peripheral communities, particularly in western Kenya near the Ugandan border. It was clear that Ouma sees birding not only as a profession, but as a pathway for local development and conservation leadership.

In the course of my visit to Kenya, I met many talented birders. Ouma stands among the very best. I recommend him without hesitation to anyone seeking a highly skilled guide, a committed conservationist, and a person of integrity.
