Felix is best- will recommend him to anyone wanting to experience Tanzanian NPs
5/5

Let me begin this by expressing our gratitude to Felix for his amazing hospitality & his company during our recent family tour to Serengeti / NGorongoro and Arusha.

We {me, my wife, my 7 years old daughter, my friend Chetan and his wife Vaishali & their kids - Tanvi (12) & Tanmay (7) } booked with Felix of Unison and travelled to Arusha on 14th June. From then onwards until our departure from Arusha on 18th, Felix took great care of our families and left no stone unturned in ensuring a great experience and a comfortable and memorable tour.

When I booked with Felix, I requested him to drive us to Seregenti and he readily agreed. I wanted that assurance as we had three kids and were travelling to Africa for the first time. It was a humbling experience to have a director of a Safari company drive us and guide us during our tour.

Felix and his advance safari party took good care of kids, provided them with everything kids demanded with smiling faces.

Our demands for driving to places with better animal sightings were readily agreed to; ofcourse he used his expertise and experience to decide on the routes.

After ensuring a memorable experience to Seregenti and Ngorongoro, Felix took us to his own house to meet his family. What really took us by surprise was when we were gifted Masai blankets and scarves (embroidered by Happiness- his wife). It was really a touching gift. The joy of being gifted something traditional and hand made and that too by your tour operator cant be expressed in words.

I will recommend Felix and Unison Safaris to anyone willing to travel to Tanzania. We went there as a tourist and came back with a friend- Felix.

Thank you Felix from the core of my heart. I wish you all the best as you deserve to be amongst the best.

My second excellent trip with this company
5/5

Through word of mouth I got in to contact with the owner. In Oct 2015 I had my first trip with them in Kruger and recently in June of 2016 again for 14 days. Excellent guide - fun to be with, knowledgable wrt wildlife mammals and birds. Very trustworthy and quick to respond to emails. Although I'm not a birder JM always made sure he parked the car in such a way that I was able to take the best shots (with camera) of the animals we saw. I would highly recommend this company to you despite it's young age. I've been with other companies to Kruger at much higher prices. Cannot say that they were any better. JM will go out of his way to ensure you have a great safari.

Awesome experience
5/5

Very friendly and competent guide & cook. Good food, guide knows what he's talking about. You'll have to be robust enough if you book the tent-version of the safari, but with a reasonable extra charge you could also book the more luxurious version.

The best safari experience ever!
5/5

I spent just a great time in Africa last March! It was also because of Bella's trip! That was my first safari experience! And I enjoy it a lot! Definetly, 5-days Safari is not enough for Uganda! Because it's a beautiful place to visit! However, I really like even those short days! We have seen as much as possible!
Bella herself is such a nice person! Everybody welcomes her wherever we go! Amazing! I felt safety! That is an important thing in Africa!
This company is the best one to contact with in Uganda!
Hopefully, I see you soon when I get back to this wonderful country!

Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you!

They know their job and are very dedicated, faithful and excellent in getting you there!
5/5

Let me tell you... These guys are wonderful. They tell you the truth, discuss with you your expedition give you advice, recommend required kit, tell you where to find what you need and what is most important, they care! I am a teacher and health and safety of our children is key. James and his people are very knowledgeable about people (they are people-smart), the environment as well as other countries. They know their job and do it with their hearts.

Unbelievable Place
Overall rating
5/5

Although this was my wife and I's first safari, we had both done a little research and what we both wanted was a game reserve that gave us a healthy chance of seeing amazing wildlife without being in such a touristic hub that the "magic" of being in the wild was diminished in any way. We were not disappointed! Selous is one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited, and everything from the great Rufiji river to the other bodies of water, mountains and vast open spaces were breathtaking. We hardly saw any other tourists there which was actually a great thing when we saw lions and elephants and similar animals as we really got to enjoy the serenity of being a few meters away from these majestic creatures with nothing except ourselves and our guide within miles.

Our hotel was absolutely outstanding - Serena Mivumo. It's a lodge that overlooks the Rufiji river and is nothing short of exceptional. Amazing staff, luxurious bungalows and just generally great food and service. Highly recommended.

About: Safarihub
We wouldn't have changed a thing
5/5

After a safari to Botswana in September 2014 we decided to visit Tanzania in green season, deliberately targeting Selous and Ruaha as a less busy area. Both locations far exceeded expectations and offered a very varied landscape with wildlife to match.

Our three camps were different in character and in how they operate. We were so glad we spent five nights at each as this allowed time to fully explore each area as well as getting to know the guides and staff. We didn't travel with expectations of seeing particular animals and with the bush in full growth thought sightings might be more elusive. However, we saw everything we thought we might see and much more. The number and variety of birds, including migrants, was stunning.

Everything went like clockwork, including camps being aware that we are vegetarian (not a problem!). Without exception staff were friendly, welcoming, informative and helpful. The time flew by and more than 3,000 photographs later, we were sad to leave. We wouldn't have changed a thing.

Uganda safari? Don't doubt, go with Karumuna. You will not be sorry.
5/5

Experience of a lifetime. Karumuna Safaris (Richard Kisembo) arranged everything perfectly and our guide Ashadu was great. He knew litterally all the roads in Uganda including the paths in the Nat.Parks, he knows all the wildlife and birds, he has a good network with the guides from other touroperators, including the more expensive international touropertators (which are mainly more expensive because of the international middleman) whom stay in touch to keep each other informed what can be seen where. Our guide, Ashadu, was also very flexible, very friendly and trustworthy (very important).
To be honest we were a bit reluctant at first to book directly with a touroperator from Uganda, cutting out the expensive middleman, because of 'the big unknown' for us. But Karumuna Safaris, Richard Kisembo and our guide Ashadu came through and delivered in a big way.
So if you are planning to go on safari in Uganda I can definitely recommend Karumuna Safaris. If you want to see the real Africa, meet friendly people, see the Big 5 and have the privilege to see chimpanzees and gorillas, go! Go to Uganda! Go with Karumuna Safaris. They are also cheaper than the (more) international touroperators and the money stays where it should, in Uganda instead of the pockets of middlemen.
Karumuna Safaris, Richard and Ashadu we (me and Jeannette) would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything. We will never forget and we hope you get all the business you deserve.
