7 days safari tour
We had such a good week with Makini. Communication both during booking and during the trip was so smooth with Naomi. Our guides Machete and Manuel were both lovely and very knowledgeable. We picked the camping option and were surprised to have showers, charging and cold beers even when staying in the middle of the bush! Richard our chef cooked amazing hot meals 3 times a day (we had expected packed lunches) and catered very kindly to my allergens. Yes the camping is basic but given how remote we were we were pleasantly surprised and twice ended up in a lodge when we thought we'd be in a tent. Plus its pretty magical to camp among all the wildlife!

Awesome, thoughtful and considerate guy
The experience with Meijo Safaris has been an excellent one. The plan is well thought and arranged in a way that allows diversified experiences through the northern Serengeti, central Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crator. The traveling and transiting between areas has been efficient and interesting (incorporating game drive). Hotel arrangement is also quite amazing - though the crator hotel is quite crowded, the other two hotels has quality that exceeds expectation (and less travelled by). Overall quite good.

Bobu Africa is the best!
My trip with Bobu Africa is amazing! The hotel arrangements are great. All the drivers and tour guides are very professional and knowledgeable. They took very good care of ourselves. I had the best safari experience! Would love to travel with Bobu again!

A wonderful experience we will often cherish in our lives ahead.
How can I describe this happy journey? It seems too joyful and perfect to be true—every single day was filled with happiness, and everyone in our team deeply loves and misses this trip.
Thank you to JungleRoam, thank you to Chesi and Vincent, and most importantly, thank you to our guide Moses. His professionalism allowed us to observe many animals up close multiple times; he always found the best spots to make it easy for us to take photos, and would thoughtfully adjust the vehicle's position based on the direction the animals were moving. He is definitely an extremely excellent guide—he also carefully attends to the condition of each team member, and wears a happy smile on his face every day.
Wish JungleRoam continued success and growth. You deserve the most sincere blessings and the warmest praise.

Perfect itinerary, Amazing service and Good arranagement
This 15-day tour through Ethiopia was truly one of the most powerful and enriching experiences of my life. From the moment we landed in Addis Ababa, everything was handled with such professionalism and care. Our guide was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also warm, patient, and passionate about Ethiopia’s history, landscapes, and diverse cultures. He wasn’t just a guide — he was a storyteller, a cultural ambassador, and someone who made us feel safe and welcome every step of the way.
What stood out the most, however, was the personal involvement of the company’s owner, Lamesgn. I’ve taken many tours around the world, but I’ve never had the owner of a company so actively involved. He personally met us in Addis, offered us a warm Ethiopian coffee ceremony, and checked in multiple times throughout the tour to make sure everything was going smoothly. At one point, a fellow traveler had a minor health concern, and Lamesgn personally coordinated medical support and followed up every day until the guest was feeling better. That kind of personal care is rare and incredibly appreciated.
The journey itself was breathtaking — we explored ancient rock-hewn churches in Lalibela, trekked through the alien-like landscapes of the Danakil Depression, and visited unique tribal communities in the Omo Valley with great sensitivity and respect. Each destination offered something different, and the itinerary was balanced beautifully between cultural immersion, adventure, and relaxation.
Ethiopia is a country of contrasts and deep history — it challenges you, teaches you, and welcomes you. Thanks to this tour and the people behind it, I felt I experienced the very soul of the country. I left with unforgettable memories, hundreds of photos, and a newfound respect for this incredible land. I would recommend this company without hesitation, especially for travelers who want a more meaningful and well-organized experience.

Responded to questions and issues within minutes (while in Africa) to 1-2 days in planning stage.
Company is female owned and operated but subcontracts driver/guides. Good budget safari. Our guide Steve really made the trip for us, allowing us to customize on the fly. If you are doing a private tour, I highly recommend including a full day at BOTH Nakuru and Lake Naivasha. As long as a GUARANTEED view of Kilimanjaro ( and it’s never guaranteed) is not on your list, one full day at Amboseli is enough. We arrived late in the day and tried to do a game drive starting at like 3 or 4. We didn’t see much on that drive but hot dust and the animals must have felt the same way because we didn’t see many. Would have been better to spend longer at Lake Naivasha then arrive Amboseli in evening for late dinner, skipping that first drive. Getting up early the next day, we were richly rewarded with views of Kilimanjaro and wildlife galore (although still super dusty). Amboseli was last on our itinerary and the drive from there to Nairobi airport was long but easy. Be prepared for a lot of red tape checkpoints at airport on departure. Finally I would say double check your safari contract before making final payment as things we thought were initially included (like drinks, other than water) were not. The operator was good about absorbing some price increases that occurred after we made final payment although we were quite surprised that this final payment was expected to be in cash not credit card. We negotiated the use of a credit card if we paid the extra card processing fee. It was just a surprise we were not expecting as were in transit as part of a multi national tour.
