I’ve been to Africa many times, but this trip was truly special. I had the privilege of meeting Hussein, a wonderful guide whose passion for wildlife made every moment unforgettable. I did a 5-day safari in the Serengeti, including three days of private fly camping with Hussein and his team.
We saw the Big Five, and even ventured out on foot — an exhilarating experience! Hussein shared so much knowledge, even teaching me a little Swahili along the way. By the end of the trip, he was quizzing me on animal behavior — asking whether the animals we spotted were male or female, and who might have hunted whom. On our walks, we’d come across bones, and he’d ask me to identify the animal, its sex, and what might have eaten it. To my surprise, I knew all the answers!
It was more than just a safari; it was an adventure filled with learning, laughter, and connection. Hussein’s enthusiasm and expertise brought the Serengeti to life in a way I’ll never forget.

Short and sweet safari
We took a short 3-day safari with Serengeti Smiles and it was an excellent choice. We had a day in Tarangire and saw so many different types of animals including the most elephants I’ve ever seen. We had a very nice hotel stay for the 2 nights in Karatu with beautiful rooms and the friendliest people. Our second day involved meeting some local tribes by Lake Eyasi, the Hadzabe and the Datoga. Spending a few hours with the Hadzabe as they shared how they maintained one of the last hunter/gatherer lifestyles in the world was one of the most unique experiences I’ve ever had. Another stay at our Karatu hotel with some time by the pool and our last day was at Ngorongoro Crater where we saw plenty of lions, hyenas, warthogs, elephants, baboons and the elusive black rhino. I can’t thank our guide Barnabas enough, he was really friendly and knowledgeable, he looked after us really well and made our safari a wonderful experience. His animal spotting is excellent and his laugh very infectious, we couldn’t recommend more!

Picked us up at the agreed locations. The drivers that took us between Johannesburg and our «safari-hotel» (Theodore was one of them) drove very considerate and was very nice. Good safari-guides.

4-Day Safari with Great Guiding: Tsavo East, Tsavo West & Amboseli
We did a 4-day safari through Tsavo East, Tsavo West & Amboseli and absolutely loved it! Communication with Dominic was excellent from the start. He was super responsive, helpful, and really took our wishes into account. The itinerary he put together was not only spot-on, but also super varied - a perfect mix of landscapes, parks, and experiences.
Big shoutout to our guide Modi, who picked us up all the way from our remote lodge on the South Coast and surely made the whole trip unforgettable. Super knowledgeable, funny, and really took his time to show us as much wildlife as possible.
Our absolute highlight: the night game drive under the rising moon. We even saw a lion with his four cubs. Just wow. Felt well taken care of the whole way. Highly recommend!

Exceptional company to work with.
First time in Africa. Excellent reviews on the internet brought us to select a Spirit of Kenya safari. Arrived in Nairobi without yellow fever cards which were lost in Germany. SofK shuttle driver saved us with a reissue adventure to the WHO, as card would be required at our Tanzania boarder transfer.
Our safari guide (Bonface) picked us up at the Ibis hotel in Nairobi to begin the best adventure ever. Began in Lake Nakuru where almost every animal we had hoped to see was found by Bonface. Went on to the Masai Mara to round out encounters with the big cats. Mid-level lodgings during our trip were great. Super time with Bonface to the boarder to Tanzania and our guide hand-off for Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire parks.

I just came back for 7 day tour in Northern Ethiopia from Ethio top land tours company, and honestly, it was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. The company took care of everything from transportation and hotels to knowledgeable local guides and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way.
We visited Lalibela, Gondar, Bahir Dar, and the Simien Mountains, and every place was more stunning than the last. What really stood out was how friendly, professional, and genuinely caring the team was. They didn’t treat us like just customers they treated us like guests.
Highly recommend this tour if you want to experience the beauty, culture, and history of Ethiopia without any stress. I’ll definitely be back for another adventure

It is truly a memorable and lifetime experience of an international trip in Kenya Masai Mara where we veiwed famous animals (Big 5) along with waterfalls, Lake Naivasha, National Park in Nakuru where we had clicked various snaps of animal and the nature of each and every corner of the jungle safari,which I will cherish forever.

Well Arranged
We had a great time on our safari with Go Safari Holidays; everything went according to plan, and the Serengeti was incredibly beautiful with a wide variety of animals. However, we only had four days to travel from the central to the northern region for the River Crossing Migration, which was insufficient to see the entire region, and each day was unique.
