Booked through Charity who helped us get something within out budget. She is very resourceful. Willing to explore alternatives rather than imposing routine. We were paired with Victor, our guide. He was also very knowledgeable, patient and polite. Knew lots about safaris. We had a really good time generally during the whole trip. Would do it again.

Driver was very experienced in handling the rough roads. He also was friendly and seems to know everybody. The accommodations were excellent. We especially liked Manjaro Tented Camp in Amboseli. The price was very good and worth every shelling. I totally recommend safaris with Aanika Karibu.

I was just organizing photos on my phone, and my Kenya and Tanzania trip from two weeks ago seems to come alive again. Starting and ending in Nairobi, the entire itinerary was perfectly planned, both in Kenya and Tanzania. Our guide was waiting for us at the airport upon arrival, and the vehicle was kept impeccably clean every day. The guide was happy to answer all my questions and patiently explained everything. I want to especially mention the Tanzania segment. All the hotels were better than we expected. I especially loved the unique African welcome ceremony at the hotels. Because March is the rainy season and off-season, we were practically the only guests at the camp hotels – it was like VIP service, absolutely fantastic! We were provided with hot meals every day, which is very important for Chinese palates. There were main meals, fruits, and snacks, and everyone found the food quite palatable. The vehicle was incredibly new and clean, and they provided snacks and drinks daily. They even prepared an East African animal guide and binoculars, which was a pleasant surprise. Our guide patiently answered countless questions about animals every day, and our tour leader, Joseph, was very sincere, checking on my health daily. I unfortunately caught a cold after soaking in a wild hot spring on my first day, and he even helped me collect my shoes at the hot spring to keep them dry. The most important part of the safari was witnessing the scene where we made a wish to our driver: lions with cubs hanging from trees, cheetahs hunting, and hippos teaching their calves to swim. In Ndutu, the entire plain was covered with endless zebra and wildebeest herds; seeing them migrate on our way out of the Serengeti was a truly magnificent and unforgettable experience. It was a truly unforgettable trip, full of unforgettable memories. Excellent value for money, highly recommended! Highly recommended!
