9-Day Uganda Round Trip – An Unforgettable Experience
We did an 9-day round trip through Uganda as a couple and can absolutely recommend it. From the organization to the experiences on site, everything was very well arranged – a trip that will stay in our memories for a long time.
Booking & Organization
Booking was very easy via WhatsApp. Questions were answered quickly, the payment process was simple and transparent, and individual requests were always considered. The packing list we received beforehand was especially helpful. The Instagram account also gave us a great first impression and really built up the anticipation before the trip.
Accommodation
The accommodations were mostly located in the middle of nature and often offered beautiful views. Everywhere we went, we were welcomed very warmly by friendly and open staff, which made us feel welcome in the country right away. From a shower under the open sky to dinner with a view of elephants – every place had its own special charm.
Safaris & Activities
Uganda is incredibly diverse in terms of landscapes – from mountains to wide grasslands. The wildlife is just as impressive: wherever you look, there is something new to discover. What we especially appreciated was the respectful approach to nature and wildlife during all activities. The photos we attached to the review were all taken by us during the trip.

The food was consistently very good and varied. Vegetarian options were easily available, and there was always plenty to eat – we definitely never went hungry.

The drives were an important part of the experience because they allowed us to see a lot of the country, the landscapes, and everyday life. With good music and interesting conversations, the journeys never felt boring.
Our Guide
A very special thanks goes to our guide Derrick! He was humorous, extremely reliable, and at the same time very open and warm. We felt safe with him at all times. Derrick and the agency were reachable at any time. He always considered our individual wishes and put a lot of effort into making the experience special for us. Thanks to his experience and great connections, we were able to spot many animals that we might otherwise have missed. He also knows his country and culture very well and shared a lot of authentic insights along the way. His practical tips – for example bringing a walking stick or gloves for the trekking – were also very helpful.
Our sincere recommendation for future travelers: ask for Derick as your guide when booking.
Conclusion
This trip was very well organized and full of memorable encounters with people, nature, and wildlife. One of the most impressive travel experiences we have had, and something we can clearly recommend to anyone who wants to experience Uganda in a deeper way.

I had a trip in Tarangire national park it was amazing beyond was i thought i will see and i was very passionated with our guide knowledge rocky who was always calm and very informative i was others friends we big elephant baboon giraffe and other the food was good we had so much fun with friends I higly recommend rocky the best guide ever seen. Though this was my second time but Rocky made sure we enjoyed every step of it

Your safari dream will be a reality
The staff is professional, responsive, and tailored the experience to our needs. Everything went smoothly, and the safari was even better than described. This was thanks to our driver-guide Geoffrey, whose knowledge, attention to detail, and friendliness made this week-long tour unforgettable. We met some wonderful people and saw all the animals of the savannah. Kudos to Brian, a trainee guide from the Miti Mingi Eco Camp, who was passionate about animals and told us all about their characteristics.
The food was good in each accommodation and the staff was welcoming.

Friendly, honest and amazing
Our safari experience in Nairobi, Kenya was absolutely unforgettable from start to finish. Everything was seamlessly organized, making the trip completely stress-free and enjoyable. Great value for money, unfortunately our evening game drive was cancelled due to the rains and floods and Maureen immediately refunded us.
We were picked up directly from the airport, which was such a relief after a long journey. From there, our adventure began with a visit to Nairobi National Park, where we had the incredible opportunity to see wildlife in such a unique setting. We saw so many different animals including Lions which were walking around vehicle. We also visited the elephant orphanage, which was a truly heartwarming experience, and got to see giraffes and feed them at the giraffe sanctuary.
A huge highlight of the trip was our tour guide. He was amazing- friendly, patient, and incredibly flexible throughout. He even waited for us while we had lunch, never rushing us and always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. His kindness and professionalism really elevated the entire experience.
Special thanks to Maureen, who was exceptional from the very beginning. She was highly organized, always in contact with us, and took care of all the details, including booking our hotels. Upon arrival, she even gifted us safari water bottles, which was such a thoughtful touch. She went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met and that we felt comfortable at all times. We were on a very tight schedule as we needed to get down the coast in kenya for a wedding however Maureen was able to put together an incredible itinerary for us, meeting all our needs.
Overall, this safari was perfectly planned and executed with genuine care and attention to detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kenya!

It was there Guide Omar a driver Alex that made the experience beyond exceptional !
I did not book with this company but the company that I did for the most part handed me off to a different itinerary..
Three of us experienced significant changes to our schedules.
I was feeling pretty disappointed with the total lack of communication from the company I paid until Omar became our guide on day 4.
The issues that he handled that had nothing to do with him were several and he took each one of us and made sure that everything Bess handled to perfection.
I have been a senior tourism executive for 35 years and what I witnessed and experienced from Omar should have him leading a training school for tour guides .. he defines going “above and beyond”.
To compliment his attention to his clients is his brilliant knowledge of the animals and their surroundings..
I left my time with Omar and Alex feeling so very thankful that they saved what had been an immensely frustrating tour and turned it into a beautiful memory.

7-day journey full of unforgettable experiences
I would like to share an amazing experience we had during our trip with Standard Safaris and our fantastic guides, Denis and George (a huge thank you, guys!).
Let me start with the communication, which was smooth and hassle-free from the very beginning. The manager, Coleb, adjusted our itinerary several times according to our wishes and always communicated quickly and helpfully.
Upon arrival in Entebbe, our guides were waiting for us exactly as agreed, and our beautiful 7-day journey full of unforgettable experiences began. Everything was perfectly organized, and each day brought something new — chimpanzee trekking, a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park with its incredible diversity of wildlife, boat cruises, the highlight of the trip — gorilla trekking — as well as a walking safari among herds of giraffes and countless zebras.
At first, we were amazed mainly by the stunning, almost indescribable nature. But as time went on, what truly captivated us was the incredible sense of peace that accompanied us throughout the entire journey.
George and Denis were outstanding travel companions who took exemplary care of us — for which we are truly grateful. Whatever we asked for, the answer was always “yes — it’s possible.”
Another big surprise was the accommodation and food, which were of genuine five-star quality.
