What a wonderful trip!
We had the most FANTASTIC time in beautiful Namibia. Everything Pepi organised for us, from the travel, to the accommodation, trips, restaurant recommendations and alterations along the way - just amazing. Given our disappointment at our cancelled trip to Thailand, and then a cycle trip cycling too, we feel so fortunate to have had one of our best holidays ever! It was seamlessly organised in just 10 days, under our given budget, and covered everything we hoped for, and more! The self drive was the perfect choice - we had such fun and always felt safe. The accommodation was stunning, and always in a great location with exemplary service and facilities.

Lion Sands was an excellent choice for our safari. We enjoyed the lodge, the service, the atmosphere and the food. But of course the game drives were the highlight. Dumi was our guide. He went above and beyond to ensure our experience was surburb.

Extraordinary Safari Experience
We did the classic Northern Circuit (Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro) for total of 13 Days. Our family had a truly memorable first safari trip with Lion King Adventures. Everything was seamless - thanks to Maria and Florida, who were patient, flexible, and incredibly helpful with our many accommodation requests(mostly luxury+ accom and also we were very picky). Sometimes you also have to be patient with them, as their replies can be a bit slow. Tuma, our guide in Arusha, was friendly, and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from airport transfers to showing us around the city.
The highlight of this trip was our safari guide, Frederick (“Freddy,” as my son calls him). We felt incredibly lucky to have him all throughout. A great guide is what makes a safari extra special and he exceeded all our expectations.
Freddy’s positive and cheerful attitude, punctuality, patience with our curious 6 years old, and ability to make us feel comfortable and safe made all the difference. He is deeply knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife and birdlife, never rushed us at sightings, and always explained animal behavior in an engaging way. His “wife”(as he jokingly
calls his safari jeep) was amazingly clean every day. ;-)
Thanks to Freddy, we saw many animals especially the Big Five and had unforgettable moments, including a cheetah and her 5 cubs, a big herd of elephants passing behind our jeep, a lioness resting beside us, and a rare leopard sighting on the main road of the Ngorongoro Crater. His spotting skills and instinct for animal movement were truly impressive.
He’s also a talented photographer — helped me with my photography and always positioned the jeep for the best angles.
This was absolutely our best trip and despite being the rainy season, we had the best weather! By the end of the safari, Freddy felt more like family than just a guide. He is a real gem at Lion King Adventures, and we would gladly recommend him to any friends visiting Tanzania. We hope to return one day for another safari with him—maybe during the Great Migration! Very well organised safari with lots of wildlife !
We had an amazing 6 days safari with Serengeti Landmark Tours.
We did Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with our Lovely guide Beonson, which showed us a lot of different animals and was great. We saw many wildlife, including the big five 🦁🐆🐘🦏🦛
Then we headed to Lake Manyara with Denis and saw a lot of elephants, which was great
Finally our last day was at Materuni with Hermann. He was also a great guide and gave us many explanations about the plants and the local life
The trip was very well organised, the food was very good. Raymond the manager also helped us with our change of flight at the end, which was really helpful. Both airport transfers were also well organised
I would really recommend this tour ! Thanks a lot to our three guides for this amazing time !

Unforgettable Safari Experience
Our safari tour in August 2025 offered perfect value for money. The guides were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and always friendly and attentive. The accommodations were very comfortable, and every host went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. The food was consistently excellent and more than sufficient. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone and honestly have no suggestions for improvement.
