Perfect from start to finish. I would 100% recommend this safari company
From start to finish the whole package was delivered exceptionally. The airport pickup was prompt and delivered us to our hotel swiftly. We were met there by Daniel from Suricata safatis who went through the itinerary and answered any questions. The following morning our guide Damien who was with us for the 4 days arrived at the given time for our drive to the Serengeti. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. Along the way we collected the chef James who provided the great lunches on our trip. Damien was excellent at finding the wildlife in all three of the parks. We had so many absolutely amazing encounters. Elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetah, zebras, hippos, huge herds of wildebeast, baboons and so much more. All of the accomodation and food was of an excellent standard and in particular Suricata Boma Lodge. I would 100% recommend Tanzania and Suricata safaris.

One of the best experiences I've had ever thanks to the team at Savannah Adventures. The tour guides were knowledgeable and hospitable. We did a safari, a sunset cruise and the drum/dinner show at the Boma. Taf was most gracious in accommodating everything and even offered a good deal for all the activities. I would highly recommend them to anyone travelling to Victoria Falls

I did this tour in the summer of 2023 in Kenya. My tour guide was Bonnie and he was amazing! Super welcoming and friendly from the minute he picked me and my family up at the airport. He was very knowledgeable about all the places he showed us and the animals we saw. We were able to see all of the big 5 (except the leopards) but it’s okay because we got lucky enough to see cheetahs, lion cubs and hyenas instead. Bonnie did amazing teaching us about the different types of animals and distinguishing between the Masai giraffes and regular African giraffes. He was always very respectful of the animals space and not getting too close to disturb them or chase them away since a lot of tourists will encourage their guides to chase after animals for photos (please don’t be that person). Seeing animals in their natural habitat roaming free will always be better than seeing them at a zoo, and also a reminder that we share this planet with them and must look out for them. When I go back I will be requesting Bonnie again. Overall this was an amazing once in a lifetime trip and if you have the opportunity please go. You’ll leave with a different appreciation for the world.

Excellent tour! A dteam!
Everything was well organized: on time, accordino to the plan but with the right flessibility. The driver Dylos was super (expert, available and lovely with us). The camps were in fantastic location and “private location” just for us (not share with other Tourist). The team (Kennedy, chef Midoh, Jonathan and Gaety) was so carefull polite and nice with us: wake up every morning with Kennedy “good morning” and clean water for washing; coming back from the safari the hot shower was ready for us, the fire for aperitive looking the moon and them dinner (excellent chef Midoh always listening to our need, one of us vegetarian).
We saw so many many animals (Lions Chita Bufaos il pass zebra giraffe a )with Dylos and different parc (The Bush in this period is at its maximum). Some days we had breakfast in the Bush (one with a group of giraffes around us) and twise also the lunch server with table and chairs in fantastic contest (during the transfer from one park to the other). Er aso had mokoro tour in the okawango river with elefants flowers and hyppo, and a spectaculare private boat tour in Chobe (bewtween Botswana and Namibia coast). At the end Victoria Falls: incredible “show”. All the lodge selected by Moonstroll were clean and comfortable. So …..tks Moonstroll and team for this wanderful dream!

Darren, Kate and their team were an absolute dream to work with.
My husband and I are fiercely independent travellers but felt we needed on the ground experience and expertise for an African adventure. Through research I found Compass Odyssey, and am forever grateful. From the very first email contact, Darren was both patient and understanding of what we thought we wanted to see and experience. Budgets were reworked, itineraries revised and all with the constant knowledge that we were being truly heard and that an amazing trip would be the result. And amazing hardly seems adequate in describing our 4wks in Sth Africa, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana, with Johannesburg and Cape Town thrown in. In 4 weeks of travel, there was not one single glitch, due solely to the impeccable behind the scenes planning by Darren, Kate and Compass Odyssey. Other reviews have outlined the professionalism of the guides, the high level of accommodations, the excellent food, the outstanding game drives and animal sightings, and our experiences certainly mirror those views. But for us, it being the first time in southern Africa, to know that Darren was available at any time should we need him, made for a most memorable and stress free adventure. His recommendations for safari parks were exceptional and our Guides (Elvis/Mortimer/Innocent) were quite simply, wonderful. Their knowledge of the wildlife, flora and fauna was outstanding. We feel truly blessed that we found Darren, Kate and Compass Odyssey and would absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking of travelling to Africa. This safari exceeded every expectation. Every moment felt like a scene from a movie.
Huge thanks to our guide Peter. He wasn't just an expert tracker (he spotted lions cuddling in a tree, a leopard's jump into tall grass, and even found a baby lion nursing), but he also became our friends. He carried our luggage, kept us calm when our vehicle got stuck in the mud, and made sure we always had a smile on our face.
