Incredible experience
Experience of a lifetime! We got incredible up close time with there family of gorillas. Our guide was super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The lodgings were gorgeous. Highly recommend Bamboo!

We consulted with several tour operators while planning our complex itinerary, but J&S Tours truly stood out. They were the only company able to accommodate our specific travel dates—while others couldn’t, and one even suggested we change our plans. Since this trip was a long-anticipated family reunion, involving months of coordination and frequent adjustments, we deeply appreciated how J&S Tours handled everything with such professionalism and flexibility, helping make the journey truly unforgettable.
Our first stop was at Endora Lodge, an eco-friendly retreat where we stayed for one night to break up a long drive. The lodge offered a beautiful and sustainable experience; however, the steep paths posed a bit of a challenge for some of our older family members.
We then spent three nights at Melia Lodge, a spectacular property located in the heart of the Serengeti. The breathtaking views and immersive setting made this stay especially memorable. A highlight of the trip was the hot air balloon ride arranged by J&S Tours—an absolutely unforgettable experience.
J&S Tours managed the Tanzania portion of our journey, which concluded in Mombasa (a leg we organized independently). Would we use them again? Without hesitation—100%. As a family-run business based near Arusha, their local expertise gave us a significant advantage. They were incredibly knowledgeable about local regulations and logistics, and the owner even drove several hours just to meet us in person—a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture.

Very helpful and on time
The safari was fantastic we went on the boat safari first than had a great lunch at Cafe buzz. Breakfast was also provided there before we went on the boat safari. The land safari was also amazing we saw elephants and giraffes up close and even got to see some lions. Overall it was great all the employees were friendly and informative. They new alot about their job and how to safe among wild animals.

Incredible First Safari!
This was a trip of many firsts for us -- our first safari and our first time in Africa! -- and Extreme Wilderness helped make it unforgettable. From our very first email exchange, our coordinator Sande was warm, friendly, and professional, patiently working with us to put together an itinerary that helped us pack a safari comprising Tarangire, the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro as well as a visit to Zanzibar into one short week. She and our guide Allen did everything they could to ensure we saw all we could have hoped for for even in our limited time. (Highlights included a mother cheetah and her cub, not one but two leopards, and a black rhino -- the only "major" animal we hadn't yet seen -- on our very last safari day, right before our flight to Zanzibar.) They ensured we made the most of every minute, but despite our fast-paced itinerary, we never felt rushed; they struck the perfect balance of efficiency and letting us enjoy the amazing sights.
On top of the safari itself, we were afforded the opportunity to try a variety of local foods as we'd requested, and all the accommodations were truly lovely. We only wish we could've stayed longer!

Best tour guide ever !!!
We had a great tour of Johannesburg with our guide, Tinyiko. His service was excellent — friendly, professional, and very informative.
The visit to FNB Stadium was a highlight, and lunch was delicious. Tinyiko’s explanations at the museums made everything even more meaningful.
Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the city!

Professional communications and lots of experience
We saw many animals, the „Big Five“ and so many more. We saw everything we hoped to see! We booked the 7-days-tour and our guide Mtina was very experienced and took us around Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangarire. I would definitely recommend it.
